Devin my dude. I know you are a perfectionist and there is nothing wrong with that, but you will drive yourself crazy trying to make everything 100 percent perfect. Unless you stop driving your builds and put them behind glass in a museum, they will never stay perfect. Gotta learn to let the small stuff go my friend.

If Devin aims for 100% and somehow felt short he’d land at 95% if your ass put in less let’s just say generously 75% and your ass is def falling short with that mindset your hitting at best 70% bud come on now. Some of us wanna get A’s on our test not B’s boss

This is facts! The car is gorgeous the way it is. Anything more would just make it undriveable because you’ll be worried about every little thing that’s “wrong” or “flawed”. Gotta just Enjoy the car at this point lol
You'll always get a different color match on Aluminum, Metal and Plastic Bumpers. Also depends on air pressure and distance of the paint gun. Its just how the paint adheres to it. The fender still isnt 100% match. You would have to re blend the front door, hood and front bumper for a high 90's% match. Your Evo is bad ass tho. Just letting you know from a professional stand point. 🤙🏾

I learned to put a scuff pad in between my sand paper when sanding by hand. It’s sort of like the interface pad on the da. It distributes the pressure from your fingers just a bit so the sanding is more even. You can do that with everything but it makes a noticeable difference when you are laying on candy coats. It’s just a good habit especially with those meaty fingers you have. Also you can flood the paint can with argon before you seal it back up when you have extra you want to save. It will prevent any oxidation, skinning color drift over time. It’s just a 10 second spray for a full galling. I’ve never tried welding argon, just little spray cans.

Man, I can relate. I painted my GT-R in my garage and had to do alot of repainting
I painted all of my panels (fenders, bumpers, doors etc) first and they came out great. I saved the body for last. when I painted it i made sure keep the fluid higher and made sure the drop coat was solid.
once I started putting panels back on i realized they were too light. I thought maybe the paint i used on the body was too dark, but in reality I didnt lay on the base enough on the other pieces. The paint was still transparent. Burned so much time in money but it had to be fixed.

Another steering rack precaution.. after new install bleed without the engine running at first just to get fluid into all the dry areas of the system before you start the car and pressurize the system.

Maybe i am wrong, but a little ceracoat to the brake discs may be a good idea to stop the rust. If not, powdercoat that part of the disc would be nice🤙🏼

Sadly track content for most channels does very poorly with viewership so most channels stray from it. They cost more money and time than they end up being worth for most channels

I would honestly suggest you getting a two piece rotors.
I see yours being rusty on the hub part and it really bugs me.
For a basically brand new car it's really annoying, but 2 piece rotors have aluminium hub section so they won't rust.
