We are back working on the #mercedes #amg #gt and its time to get this project in one piece and on the road and the first thing to do is get the car all one colour but we also need to get some exhaust work done too.

A bit crazy car vertical doesn’t tell you anything about what engine you have or the cars HP. I felt like they miss out a lot
One suggestion change the alloy wheels
Man, you want this to look original and then put those pre-facelift headlights? You should use the newer ones, same as in original black series!

@@aaronmunden3069 Yea that’s possible. But he said that he needs to make panel gaps perfect, with millimetre precision, in order to make the car look original; and then puts those lights…
Sure he said the lights are like 3k each in another vid..would you spend 6k on lights? No 😂

Chris do they have the expression “You’ve knocked it out of the ballpark” in the uk? It just means you hit a home run. It is just a wow car, a show stopper, a standing ovation. I think you graduated to Carnegie Hall ( only the best of the best can play there ) it has to be one of the nicest projects on UA-cam.

We do use the expression, but the game you call baseball, and love so much, is mainly played by girls, at school here, where we call it Rounders, it's not important culturally here, so that phrase is one we picked up from the US

As a ceramic installer myself. You should go back to your roots in a final video of this AMG series, and do a video laying down some ceramic or PPF. Great series and keep them coming.

great build Chris, and I reckon a really smart project, given the low price of the crashed base model, high price of the black series, high price of Mercedes parts, and low price of Ali express carbon kits...and now you have experience of them...knocking out a few more might be a nice little business...that's a dream car for a lot of people, but for a much better price than the real thing ...they'd be great sellers imo

You just don’t want to crash it, because the original ha§ a lot of tests done to it to endure safety for pedestrians and such… i guess the temu stuff isn’t tested that well…

I'll be totally honest and say its not my type of car but 100% can appreciate the work and dedication going into resurrecting it. Think the wheel choice and fitment will make all the difference. Looking forward to seeing the final product. Really good build!

This build is looking superb Chris. The decisions and choices you have made have really worked out perfectly. The detail that you have put into the car have made it what it is. I especially enjoyed the painting sequence in the video, the paint guys have done a great job. A great project but what are you going to do next?
