      Angel C . While she deals with the evils, she is part of a system that has created them through their own negligence. Obviously not the judge and those in this case, they seem like the proper folks to be there and be in charge of this in the first place.
      We need more humanity in our justice system. For a man made system, it has a distinct lack of humanity.

      It absolutely is to judge because these people don’t get punished enough for their crimes. Drug dealers and the like get harsher sentences than r4pists and murders. They spend a third at most of the time given, usually not even half the time citing good behavior and crap after brutally k’ing a vulnerable person (child, elderly, abused woman that’s not physically or mentally strong enough to defend themselves) a totally innocent person and stranger just going about their business. Rarely will we give a k’er anywhere close to 25 years in prison for taking a life, multiple lives, and we don’t give them the death penalty because somehow our insane, money hungry country has made it more expensive to K a killer than to keep them fed and sheltered for the rest of their life? Life being not really a life sentence, but think about that. Most aren’t for the death penalty because it costs more to k a pos than to house them and feed them? Make that make sense. Only in our country do we somehow make something like that a thing. What case do you ever find that a k’er pays hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars to K their victim? They spend money on a weapon like a knife, a gun and few bullets and that’s he extent of it but AMERICA makes it too expensive to k someone in our criminal justice system.😂 We have all morons creating these systems and abiding by them.

      @@KristenHammerback-pk5wy There is two sides to the police force. There are many great officers, My uncle included. They are the backbone of society. However a reoccurring and an institutionalized phenomena is increasing in police in the United States and other places due to policies such as the patriot act that have increased abuse of power. Warrior training, lack of accountability, exclusive privileges and the extremely lenient laws when it comes to charging police officers have led to many cases and injustices including George Floyd, Eric Garner, Tamir Rice, Malice Green, Brianna Taylor, Michael Brown, Ahmaud Aurbery and so many more. There is a huge difference between a brainwashed average Jo killing people and an Officer killing people. What incentive does a an average citizen have not to kill others besides morality and punishment enacted by the state? Does it justify them, definitely not, but shouldn't the incentive to be just and fair be the case even more so to a person sworn to protect, serve, and save people? It is an even greater crime when the apparent leaders and caretakers decide to commit crimes when it contradicts everything that they stand for.
      Also I wouldn't generalize the middle east based off of destabilization, wars, drone strikes, assassinations and destruction caused by United States foreign policy, and the effects of European colonialism in Africa and the middle east after the end of the ottoman empire. There are many places to go to that are great in the middle east, look at the UAE, or Kuwait, Lebanon or Oman, or even the "controversial" Saudi Arabia. Stop living in a box, and thinking that the only good place to be in is the United States or Europe. It is definitely a great country. But at the end of the day even as a "super power" it is just one of many great places and nations in the world.

    This judge does NOT have to apologize for being emotional. For Christ's sake, she's a human being, and this is evidence that she CARES--she's not a machine.Thank God, right? Justice should be "blind," but justice must still be human. AND I appreciate her shout-out to the cops/detectives who work cases like these. They're rarely acknowledged for what they've gotta deal with. They're human too, and they have to put their hands into nightmare-shit most people can't imagine. I've known enough law enforcement to have heard the darkest of stories. But they're true. And that always blows my mind.

They honestly feel ljke this is THE ONLY OPTION available for them at that moment. There are MANY MANY other reasons i can list, but i will spare the details. • @mercuryfever392
      @mercuryfever392 4 роки тому +28

      Sometimes you have to make a deal to get them behind bars even though it doesn't always fit the crime. There was a case where this man killed a lady and law enforcement needed to find her body. They told the man if he would tell them where the body was, they would take the death penalty off the table. He tells them the body is in a river. The river is infested with deadly poisonous snakes and it's murky. This dive team goes out to try and find the body. They were out there for about 2 or 3 days. They find nothing. The guy leading the dive team says based on his passed experience with these searches that she probably isn't in there and the man is lying. They go and bring the suspect down to the river site. They're like "These people are risking thier lives and spending their time looking and you are wasting everyone's time. Tell us where the body is or we are going to take this deal off the table." He finally tells them where it's buried. He gets life in prison instead of the death penalty.

That's what ppl are charged with when they accidentally kill someone in a car accident. It's unfortunate. Perhaps there should be a special charge for "manslaughter" of a child. Maybe there is. I wouldn't use it for recreational use but I'm not going to be judgemental either. I'm open minded. It makes me feel good to see a judge care like that because like she said their job isn’t easy and it’s so easy to detach and become absorbed. The cops end up going to therapy for years afterwards , it makes them numb which kinda makes them cold. I know it’s a court proceeding and I bet she was vilified for showing emotion but I’m glad she said what she said. I hate when they make these cases so matter of act and forget about the hurt everyone goes through in the trial. Even tho I have my issues with the justice system I do agree that cops and these officials don’t get enough credit . But that’s also because there are a lot of shitty cops too

My sister has six kids and my brother has two and I am without. My husband and I tried for years to have a baby both naturally and by IVF. I got pregnant a few times but they always ended up in a miscarriage. It became more and more emotionally difficult for me after each failed pregnancy that I just gave up trying. I am now 50 and have been happily married for over 20 years and I feel good about my life but there will always be an emptiness in my heart. Thankfully my husband and I am very close with all our nieces and nephews and I know they look at us as their second Mom and Dad which we absolutely treasure. It certainly doesn’t make up for not having our own children but having those close relationships have made me know with absolute certainty that I would have been a really great Mom and he a great Dad. I know exactly what you are going through so stay positive and make sure you are there for one another. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
