- Peru Gulch is located just outside of Montezuma Colorado. The area is open all year round, but is only open to cross-country skiing and snowshoeing during the winter months. The rest of the year, this is a system of pretty easy trails (except for Chihuahua Gulch) that most vehicles won't have any troubles on. The area features numerous old mines and buildings to see and explore. In this area, you can explore Peru Gulch, Cinnamon Gulch, Warden Gulch, and Cinnamon Gulch

This is an awesome video. The drone flight video on Chihuahua Gulch and the closing flight were truly amazing. 👍 Thanks for posting.
Amazing.
Great video ! The scenery from the drone was beautiful and the piloting was darn good going timber dodging. The closing song was nice as well. I didn't know there was that much to do up Peru Creek. Peru Creek is where my love of 4 wheeling and ghost towning was born.
yahoo~Thanks-awesome 💫
SHOTS FIRED!!! Puts the 4-Runner in the same sentence as Subaru and Rav4!! ;-)
Not right is it?
I poke fun at everyone 😀
he even picks on Gladiators but i keep coming back for more :)
@@DeanJohnson67 as long as he keeps Land Cruisers out of it. 😁😂😜
@@NigelNaughton I'll make sure and do a shout out to Land Cruisers in another video ;)
Regarding Cinnamon Gulch, I mapped that trail for Trails Offroad back in 2017. In 2019, the forest service blocked the road just past waypoint 5, as noted in the trail guide. I haven't been back up there in the last couple of years. (I traded that trail to another writer.) But, all the bypasses and spur trails after that are illegal.
Excellent
Another great video. One question. I never see anybody fly fishing in any Jeep videos. Almost every channel I watch, you never see anybody fishing up on these creeks along the trails that yall drive. Do you EVER see people fly fishing when you are out? I love fly fishing and want to explore the back country in the jeep to find some nice streams to fish in. All these trails that you run, is fishing prohibited? Or do you just not show people fishing, and they are actually there?
We see people fishing constantly, but they are usually on bigger rivers that we usually don't show as they are along the main streets.
@@TrailTraveler Great. Yeah I was more interested in these smaller streams and creeks that you run across. Ever see anybody on them fishing? The big rivers get so much traffic. Thats why I was curious about these more off the pavement streams and rivers you come across. Hows the new CV's working out?
The smaller creeks don’t tend to attract as many people. I’m not into fishing, so I’m not a good judge if what would be good spots or not. The RCVs are nice, we have a few trails done with them now.
Hey. I'm Trint Ladd. I'm on the TrailsOffroad mapping crew. Usually, in mining districts like this, the creeks are poisoned with heavy metals leaking from the mines and thus, no fish.
There is tons of fish on these trails and I catch them all the time. Glad nobody knows about them so I can keep catching them and frying them up on my tailgate. It's a short season anyway have fun and fish on and please keep the trails clean
