The 2 tapped holes on the bottom of the tank originally held a bar much like you have attached to them. The bars purpose was to help prevent the tank from splitting. The bar didn't attach to anything else, it just ran across and braced the tank. Love your videos and laidback style.
Great vid as usual. I was hoping to use the MotoGadget M.Unit on my 66 TR6R Bobber but the only place I could hide the unit was under the tank just above the engine. I downloaded the fitting instructions and they say it has to be 20 cm away from the engine and not get hotter than 80 degrees Celcius. Also I'm not running a battery just a magneto and a Capacitor so not sure if that is possible with M.Unit. I'm going to have to chat with the dealer Digital Speedos over here in UK.
Looking good! Excited to see the painted frame and get your sense on how it handles with the rigid frame. :) Also, I don't know if this was brought up, but do you suspect any heat issues with the M-unit being in the headlight bucket? I don't think the light itself will be too hot (as there's always wires in there that don't seem to suffer) but does the M-unit get hot at all? And if so... then potentially along with the heat from the headlight, there may be issues. Just a thought...hopefully it's a non-issue.
I haven't seen the M-unit even get a little warm while I have had it hooked up. It's definitely something i'm going to keep an eye on but I don't think it will be an issue.
Just started watching your vids nice bike thats coming aling great ... i wasnt keen on your zip tie for the rear indicators rinning the wires up the back ... personally as an idea i think cable guides for bicycles and a bicycle outer cable would work better uaong the wire up through the middle ... will give better protection on the wire with the outer cable and you can get different colours etc and i think it would give a better finish to the bike hiding the wires
That's a good Idea. I want to revisit this bike in the future and update a few things. I would love to replace the rubber oil lines with some hardline as well. I thought about using some brass tubing to hide some of the wires.
Hi, nice build! Why not running the wires to the tail along the top of the frame (below the tank), then split to left/right and down, if required? I never like to have wires at the lower frame… Cheers from Switzerland!
The 4 Cell powers everything. All I have in this bike is lights and ignition. There isn’t an electric start or any other systems to run. So far I haven’t had a single issue.
I hope you know you are the only person on youtube that even comes close to being this in depth on wiring. kudos.

Awesome, it worked out perfect for what I used them for. Thanks for watching!
this bike came out amazing. it was awesome to watch you do this from beginning to end. already stoked for your future projects
Well done. I've been waiting for this particular update for a while. Some good ideas I think I'll incorporate in my build. Thanks.
I like how you film by hand, with a tripod next to you. Nice job with the bike.
My man!! Love the vid keep up the good work! Inspired me to get back in the garage! Side note. The Camaro in the drive lookin sexy

I may end up doing that. I will have to see what works the best once I get the bike back together.
What throttle assembly are you using? Also, which clutch/brake lever assemblies are you using? Many thanks, awesome video
Not sure exactly on this bike. I'm just using the ones that came on it.
So do you have another battery powering the rest of the bike or is the 4cell battery powering everything?

HI , all looking good so far. My question is how are you going to get the bike off the table?
Pulled it off last night. I have a 2x8 with metal brackets at the end that I attach to the back of the table and roll it off.
Holes in clip on handle bars, have you snapped them yet? lol
I like the light lower right but looks like I am following too far behind
More videos lol
