- Shed Regular Chris brought in his 1952 Triumph Bobber with Thunderbird frame to show us what he had created. Chris wanted to bike to be as reliable as a modern bike, but have the aesthetic and feeling of a true classic. The Bobber turns heads where ever he goes, but this bike still gets ridden properly, Chris even rode it all the way from Poole to London just to film this video.

VERY NEAT!!!
That's the first Pre-Unit I've seen with a Oil In Frame front end I have ever seen that "works" visually. It also looks as though part of the frame "straightening" process must have included a bit of stretch on the tail's lower rails, as I see the backbone and upper tail's angles match.
I've don the same with my '53...

Sorry I know I should clean up my comments but FUCK YEAH!
Super nice bike but you can see that the snail cam adjusters for the front brake aren't adjusted properly ( way over centre) and so brake won't work nearly as well as it should. These are really good brakes when set-up properly. Also the motor will have a three piece crank if original T.Bird. Big bearing motors came after 52 also alloy head came in 1959 and so motor is a bitza. Love it though
Interested to know how bent the frame was since it needed so much straightening.
As the Brits would say, "Well done".
