Couple things I forgot to clarify.
• Q3 is when the next model is releasing Asus says
• Power button is a touch ID button
• There is a short cuts panel you can open at anytime to customize your experience mid game. It's awesome. You can change your resolution, frame rate, power consumption all from a quick menu.
Question: why does zombie mode in Infinite Warfare keep freezing/crashing on my ROG ALLY Z1 model? Is it because it’s a weaker model, or because the game itself (Infinite Warfare) isn’t handheld-compatible in zombie mode?
This is the type of video I have always wanted to make just never had the time or skill set

Don’t know where your from but offer up has good stuff if you look really good. I was able to get a legion 5 gaming laptop for $800 lol also someone is giving away a 4070ti with a Ryzen 5 cpu together for $600 LOL pc gaming is accessible just gotta find the deals

I play BO3 exclusively on my steam deck nowadays and I love it. I don’t think I could ever go for a high round at my desk ever again. Got 70 on origin’s yesterday from the comfort of my bed. Good stuff!

How are the dead zones on the sticks? The demo unit I played at Best Buy I felt wasn’t reacting well when playing Forza and wasn’t registering turns correctly
I am going to try to provide a more technical answer later bc deadzone stuff confuses me.
But in short i have noticed with the triggers and the sticks you have to push/move things considerably to go past the threshold in order to make your character or vehicle move on screen.
Micro adjustments are possible, but it's hard to gauge as its drastically harder to control than using a regular controller for ps5 or Xbox.
It is something you will get used too, but since the games I play don't require such nuance, i don't find it to be an issue.
My dad is getting me an Ally today. But are zombies and extinction free on here? I would like to know because that would be amazing to play these modes without buying them. Also on extinction can you get all DLCs for free too?
The official DLCs (in games up to Black Ops 4) do cost money, although if you're playing Black Ops 3 then the custom maps in the Steam Workshop are free

To be fair for bo3 it doesn’t require any more then between 30-60 fps due to its date and time although more is always much better
I have mine for a week now.
Sadly they still don't sell the case here what is kinda lame.
Maybe they should include it in the box already.

I have not. The SD card has been working great so far.

I bought my 400$ Steam Deck
Specifically For: Bo3 Zombies
I was one of the people effected by the early Custom-Map error.
Essentially what was happening. Was that the Proton Layer was looking into the wrong Folder for the Mod Data. Which is why you coule Download Maps and uninstall them (they take up space) but not play them.
This was fixxed about 2 months into my time with the Steam Deck.
Bo1 actually runs like shit on the Steam Deck because the Proton Layer doesn't know how to Translate DirectX 8-9 titles *At Speed*
So Call of the Dead and Vurruckt are borderline UNPLAYABLE on Deck.
But they run PERFECT on Steam Deck.
Bo1 works perfect on the deck now I just got round 80 on Kino
I need help guys. My ROG Ally keeps crashing everytime I launch zombies in Infinite Warfare. What’s an easy fix? Or should I just avoid I.W. Zombies?
Try verifying files or reinstalling. Sometimes the games have an issue with the amount of VRAM in the handheld. It says it can't run it, but it should be able to anyways.
I have cold war on xbox game pass but it wont show up 😢
Im pretty sure call of duty games aren't on game pass yet. Also, some games don't show up on PC game pass as it's different catalog compared to the console pool or games.

I just install COD III today and it runs great on the Ally, i add some modded zombie maps and the game play was amazing . I got up to 80 FPS when playing Campaign and Zombies. It's a joy to be able to play COD Zombies on the go in it's full glory.
It really is great. I love how much you can do with this thing.

Hey man ive been using the ally but having trouble running cold war any fixe
The problem is the device doesn't think it has enough VRAM to play the game, but it totally does. So after the shaders install, try dumbing all the settings down to as low as they possibly can go in game. Make sure all the apps that have to do with the ROG ally are closed.
I have issues with it too sometimes, but it generally works if i strip the ally down to the bare essentially. But after the settings in the game are set to low and you start playing, then you can tinker with it and up the graphical fidelity a bit.
Also try putting your screen to 720p temporarily while you are getting the game going. You want to give the ally as much head room as possible while the game is booting up.
@@AfterLiveAnalysis the thing I can even load into the severs I can load the game but can't get into the main game
I word it wrong. I can load the game, but once I get to the menu, it always tells me an error that the severs aren't working. I've tried every workaround, and I can't fix it
That sounds like a COD issue not a you issue. Can you play it on a regular PC? I know there were some issues with the servers recently. Fans have figured out how to get it to work on Steam. I haven’t tried the game lately so I have no idea.
@SkeptixPrdxn I don't. I'm a console player, so I can not check if it works on other pc's. The only thing I know is that when on ps5, the severs work fine

I don't think so? But I am not sure what you could get banned for? Can you clarify?
@@AfterLiveAnalysis (an Activision account) my brother got banned on his lenevo legion and we have no clue why, and we are trying to recover his account and have been for 4 weeks and we can’t recover his account from the ban. I’m worried the same thing will happen with the rog ally
I have played nearly every single cod on both the steam deck and ally, and I have had no issues.
There are lots of reasons accounts get banned, unfortunately. Even false bans happen from time to time.
I genuinely am not sure what happened to your brother's account, but I can't imagine it's from the device COD is installed on. But at the end of the day, it's a call you'll have to ultimately make for yourself. It's been all good on my end, but I am just one handsome devishly good looking young man.

On the Ally? You should 100% be able to play PC downloadable games on the Ally.
Download the XBOX gamepass software for PC and sign in, you should be able to download everything just like you can on your normal PC.
Now PC game pass and Xbox Console game pass are a bit different with their offerings, so its not a full 1:1, the PC gamepass is more of an additive feature than anything else. But most AAA games launch on it that are on standard Gamepass.
