HOLLY SHIT! Who’s this kid that popped up on YT homepage? This made my day! No, it made my friggin decade!! To see young talent playing the blues makes me so damn happy I’m on my feet jamming and I’m 60! And I thought there was no hope after the late GREAT Stevie Ray Vaughan! Kid, you are amazing and a God to my generation! I’m hooked!!
Say what you want about any other guitarist, Buddy Guy is such a complete entertainer and he is not afraid of stepping out of the spotlight to let others shine. What he has given to music goes so much beyond being a guitar legend. Simply the GOAT.
F'ing amazing. HIGHSCHOOL. I've seen Buddy in concert many times....and his generosity, tutelage, and SUPPORT of this young kid, a major talent....says alot about Buddy Guy. BOTH deserve kudos!!
I remember watching videos as a young 8 or 10 year old kid of Quinn Sullivan now I see what a really, really good guitarist he has become. I think the future is going to be good to him.
His future is already here. If you get the chance, go see him live. I saw him play at the Narrows, not far from where he grew up. I was not disappointed. I would love to see him play again.
Quinton is the most epic Prodigies in the realm of black jams I've ever seen ang heard, if you can trade licks with Buddy Guy and or BB King you are one smoking badass and deserve every hard-earned dollar did I am spending on your albums you keep it up young man God bless you
Buddy Guy is just the definition of class! I'm a 65 year old woman, I've seen Buddy 2xs, & his grace, his love, & of course his guitar playing are in a league all his own! And Quinn, he is an amazing talent!!
what I love as much as how good he is it that you can tell he loves and respects and "gets" the music FOR ITS OWN SAKE...he isn't out there to feed his ego and he isn't trying to impress anyone...he's just trying to play as well as he possibly can, and always with humility and the desire to get better. that's greatness people, in more ways than one. that all said...he often gets too much into "shredding" here. he still needs to learn more about the value of quality over quantity a bit IMO
U better kn it. Quinn do your thang, show them what you can do with that guitar you learned from one of the best. I could listen to this music all dam day and night.
The world needs to listen to him.... I love the rock n blues resurrecting via Greta Van Fleet and Quinn... All the best mate keep the flame burning...Love from India 🤘🏻
Sad to live in the land of the blues, but then you listen to these Amazing bluesmen and it takes you out of the funk sounds of the blues makes things a little brighter love it✌️♥️
HERE'S THE REAL QUESTION? Doe's it matter whos songs they were playing? THAT WAS SOME OF THE " VERY BEST MUSIC I HAVE EVER HEARD! I need more cause that's strait from the soul...
Hmmm. Well, I think we're seeing Quinn Sullivan there on stage. I will be interested to see how he matures in his playing in the next 10 years. I hope he finds his true soul.
I never new that the new KING OF THE BLUES was a young white man that would make JIMMY FU@CKEN PROUD. IF YOUR A BLUES FAN U LIKE ME U WOULD KNOW THAT IS THE HIGHEST COMPLIMENT I CAN OD ANYONE CAN GIVE. THE WOLF
Very true, but there also is nothing like the sound of a Les Paul. I'm glad that both exist, and great music has been played on both. Great Strat blues and rock players include Hendrix, SRV, Clapton, Jeff Beck, Robin Trower, Eric Johnson, KW Shepherd, John Mayer, and Robert Cray. Les Paul masters include Peter Green, Jimmy Page, Warren Haynes, Frampton, Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa (who also rocks an old Strat), and, in their early years, Santana and Martin Barre. I used to own a Les, but they are exceedingly heavy and a bitch to play. Strats are more ergonomic. PRS makes great guitars in the U.S. that emulate both Strats and LPs and, in my opinion, exceed both in tone and playability, but that is subjective for each guitarist. What PRS has in quality, it lacks in mystique compared to Fender and Gibson, at least so far.
BTW…THIS is an exemplary example of the OPPOSITE of 'race-bating'! 🙄 …This is fundamental, primal musicality…Oops, no-one looked at the color of the respective guitarist's skin when YOU were feeling this moment!
I love Quinn Sullivan as a blues artist. But now Quinn thinks he's in a boy's band of one. And I don't listen to boys bands. And especially if the person thinks the band is a person of one. I'm hoping he'll someday get out of this phase. Because he is a really good artist.
I object to taking the name of the Lord in vain. I love the blues, but this objection overrules that love. I love God more. So this one is off my playlist.

Quinn has alotta SRV influence. Very good! Very enjoyable, young talent!
Srv, nope
I hear Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, and some Carlos Santana in Quinn's playing.
Only an idiot would think SRV
15:13 love how happy buddy looks while listening to Jimmie play.
Buddy Guy said that Quinn Sullivan has a talent that can't be taught. That's high praise but seems to be well deserved.
Buddy Guy and Quinn Sullivan - what a sound!!!
Buddy "Effin'" Guy, movin the Blues to a new generation. Carryin the torch just as Muddy told him to! How cool is that?!
Eu adooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooro esses encontros!

Sad to live in the land of the blues, but then you listen to these Amazing bluesmen and it takes you out of the funk sounds of the blues makes things a little brighter love it✌️♥️
Quinn Sullivan, Buddy Guy's foster son, great performance, awesome Band
This also reminds me of the 6 a.m. morning blues radio station back in the early 70s when I was a kid
History in the making
Quinn is with the right one Buddy Guy is one of the best and at his age still going strong
Buddy held the band together. The bass man is with him since the `90ies, and the others short after.
there are thumbs down i don't understand why this kid is talented
we need you in BELGIUM...
Love Buddy's spotted guitar.. he has a matching shirt for it ! but not this night
@V J Min In another video I've seen the reverse design, white w/ black spots
God bless em !
Wooo! God damn Jimmie was putting on a clinic there. Damn, that was good.
Buddy guy's voice can't be beat..
Quinn's a guitar player but Jimmie's a musician.
Saw them together last night. Quinn is a seriously good guitarist.
Buddy and Quinn? Or with Jimmie too? I hope Quinn can keep his head about him and evolve organically from here on. The blues depends on it.
So far so good.. He's been playing with buddy since he was 8 years old.
@@user-qr8ki8ue4i I think having Buddy as a mentor Quinn will stay grounded.
why did Buddy have to make an such an unstoppable player.... I'm just jelly Quinn is awesome.
Economy of Movement…That's the key Quinn has unlocked. 😊
Get it Quinn...You are there
Buddy is the last man standing. I saw him play w Junior Wells and Stevie Ray. Go Buddy.
HERE'S THE REAL QUESTION? Doe's it matter whos songs they were playing? THAT WAS SOME OF THE " VERY BEST MUSIC I HAVE EVER HEARD! I need more cause that's strait from the soul...
Actually, it does matter. Very crucial to music buffs and historians
maravilhooooooosos!
Buddy knows hes passing the baton!
3 generations of blues royalty
Wowzers!
He's ready to pop
PS who is he playing with around the 8:15 mark?
The way buddy can shut it down with 1 note n 1 hand nobody else can do
Agree.

We are seeing Stevie there on stage.
Hmmm. Well, I think we're seeing Quinn Sullivan there on stage. I will be interested to see how he matures in his playing in the next 10 years. I hope he finds his true soul.
I would love to see Stevie Ray again for a 3rd time just by himself.

Got plenty of horsepower on that stage.
