I think if you skip over a few generations you get to see the evolution of the apes. Cornelius was still a very early generation so there wouldn't have been much difference
They still can. If this new 2024 film shows the apes still in conflict with each other over humanity, then once the good apes win, they could still eventually get to Cornelius being the king of the ape tribe.

I know there’s a mix of comments from 3+ months back as well as some from a few days ago but a lot of people seem to be making the same assumption. - KINGDOM takes place 300 YEARS after WAR. Therefore every single character we got to love from RISE-WAR is long gone. It’s means that no, Noa isn’t going to be Cornelius unfortunately.. And that KINGDOM takes place 900 years before what would become the 1968 original film! - Apparently, Noa is NOT related to Caesar either and the new villain is a Bonobo which is a different ape species to Chimpanzee (which Noa and Caesar are) and is therefore not related to Caesar either. How they know quotes/sayings from Caesars, is most likely because Caesars stories had been told by generation to generation. A fun fact about the villain, we know of one other Bonobo in the Planet of the Apes trilogy and that’s Koba. So maybe, he’s related to him and that’s why he is wanting power? Any questions, please reply to this comment and I’ll try and help answer!
I actually love the fact that they’re setting this movie like 300 years after the last one. Really gives us a chance to see a modernized take on the actual sort of OG Planet Of The Apes setting and all the complexity that brings, rather than staying stuck in the origins of things. War For The Planet Of The Apes set this up perfectly and the movie gets to explore the centuries long legacy Caesar left for the apes.

You're completely wrong, Caesar did NOT support or start the war on humans, Koba did. Caesar wanted peace with humans while Koba wanted them dead, which is why Koba tried killing caesar. Many apes did not go through with Koba's plans, and many were imprisoned when they wouldn't follow him. Caesar did not want war with humans because he hated them, he only did it to protect himself and his family. Its very possible a split happened between Caesar's clan where some took on a more brutal way of life, but the point still stands that Caesar did not raise anyone to be a warrior

I just watch it! ( Early Access May 8th) and it was pretty good ! It’s a very emotional film ! It’s a 10/10 , I won’t say that it’s my favorite, the second one it’s still my favorite but this one was definitely worth watching and I’m doing again on Friday!

If you watch war of the planet of the apes and say you won’t watch kingdom of the planet of the apes because Caesar is not there, that’s ok but you have to understand that not everything is rainbows and unicorns. Mostly not happy endings, but if your gonna actually cry about it, just know that CAESAR ISN’T REAL SO CHEER UP OK?? But don’t actually cry tho. I just watch it! ( Early Access May 8th) and it was pretty good ! It’s a very emotional film ! It’s a 10/10 , I won’t say that it’s my favorite, the second one it’s still my favorite but this one was definitely worth watching and I’m doing again on Friday!

Ok, so I looked it up. Yes, you are right, he is called Noa, but the dude does not remember his real name. Is Cornelius? He just doesn't remember that because he probably got separated from the other Apes and is now living on his own. Or maybe is living with a different group of apes and named him that because i looked it up the dude that plays noa is the dude that plays cornelius so most likely he just doesn't remember

I think the astronauts will also appear here. If you can remember the news on the rise of the planet of the apes, you can see that there are missing astronauts in space. They must already time travelled here. Like in the old story of the film.

Ok so I know kingdom of the planet of the apes isn’t the same without Caesar. But some people don’t have to get mad. If you watch war of the planet of the apes and say you won’t watch kingdom of the planet of the apes because Caesar is not there, that’s ok but you have to understand that not everything is rainbows and unicorns. Mostly not happy endings, but if your gonna actually cry about it, just know that CAESAR ISN’T REAL SO CHEER UP OK?? But don’t actually cry tho. And if everything was a happy ending, Koba would still be alive. And then what? But even if Caesar isn’t real, still appreciate him in the new movie. Bye bye
