if you liked this, keep your eyes peeled for a new drop from VoicePlay in the next week or so...... Warframe heard this cover and loved it enough that they asked VoicePlay to cover another track from the game's upcoming release of Warframe 1999.
The temporary that VoicePlay uses enlivens the song and adds momentum that the original doesn't provide. I feel way more engaged with VoicePlay's version.
It was nice to see you doing a double reaction of both versions. To clear up the topic of who sings the original song let me quote Warframe Wiki: "Sleeping In The Cold Below is a song featured in the Call of the Tempestarii quest. It is sung by Vala Glarios as she dreamt of her deceased crew singing with her." - So this Vala Glarios is the CHARACTER singing the song ingame, the singers recording the song are: The Ennis Sisters, Aarron Collis and Alan Doyle. I love both versions, they each have a specific beat to them, the original is slower than VP's version.
David K reacted to Voiceplay version too. At the end of the video he played the game. A little before and after. When she started her biggest and final battle this song was playing. The song slowed down is after the battle. She had won and was exhausted. David said it took him 2 hours of playing to get to the sonng so he edited the part for reacting from just before he gets there. About 15 minutes. I loved watching it. Hes really good.
I don't recognize any VoicePlay so far in this. She was interesting. When VoicePlay did it, every morning they ran it right through my brain. WARFRAME contacted VoicePlay to do another.

Oh, I appreciate that you played the original because I haven't heard it before.

Since I never played Warframe, this was very helpful for me. Thanks a lot!

Thank you for the direct comparison.
I am not a gamer, but I find that I like a lot of the music from games.
Video game music is definitely its own genre
They did a great job of this space shanty! ⚘️🕊
They absolutely did!

personally i like geoff's and gingertail's versions better, i dont like the original, the original voice isn't suited for singing
