Found his earliest video, four years ago he no hit ran midir, which means he has played this game at least 600-1000 hours (an underestimation) before that video, which is at least another 2 or three years, coming out to around six years he has played. This estimate is in a perfect world, and does not consider breaks from the game or inconsistencies in playing it.

For real darksouls is my favorite series but idk how u get 10k hours. By far the most playtime of any non pvp game but i cant go over 400 without feeling like ive done everything i wanna do and am ready for the next one. Im at about 200 now on elden and i can only see myself doing a couple more playthroughs. Again, insanely impressive for a story mode game, but 1k hours+ for me is reserbed for pvp games that u especially like.
I tend to agree that with any single player game (I know, not technically single player) I don't care to replay them much, but Id say the players that get over 400 hours are likely speedrunning and doing challenge runs. I find enjoyment of doing speedrun races vs friends in DS1 and make a drinking game out of it usually.
One of my favourite bosses, because he has so many openings. This is what Crucible Knight could've been, honestly. Not a guy that turtles behind his shield for 10 years.
Can we just appreciate how Dark Souls 3 is the fine wine of FromSoftware's visuals, looking absolutely stunning for a 6 year old game. I'd even say it has better visuals than Elden Ring in some places.

Almost easy kill boss, but stupidly die because of greed on the last few hp's. True DS fan
not me being touched by the boss's comeback story
im just realizing they basically turned this boss into crucible knights
I was waiting for a one shot and the timing still got me. It reminded me of some experiences like that in elden ring
Sl1 ran, man
this video defines darks souls and any souls like game
Perfect video to represent dark souls.
To be fair, 0:16 basically foreshadowed the ending of this video.
I was not expecting the end, but I have found myself in this same situation many times. Still blows my mind when it happens. Like seeing a unicorn turned inside out.
this legit made me shiver
This is what a boss should looks like, you die because you become to greedy, not because you choose wrong equipment, playin it solo, or its not good RNG time yet
^ this - Elden ring send game bosses problems
@@bradmace6144 what? 🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿🗿
Or constantly spamming AOEs that take up the entire boss arena or trying to see through a mist of visual clutter while a stream of projectiles bombard your ass aim bot style.
mad because bad LMAO
@@mikemiles2241 you can cry all you want but elden ring bosses suck in comparison to literally the entirety of the rest of the series
I used to find this a hard boss. Now after Elden Ring and looking back, it looks simple as heck
Fr! Elden ring set us up for every other souls game to be twice as easy lol
elden ring is the easiest in the series
@@firetitan19 it can be the easiest or the hardest, because it has a bunch of hard bosses (long combos, fast, etc) but also have the most op things, if you do a run without anything strong i think it is the hardest.
@@miczindocyb2255 the bosses aren’t even that hard compared to others in the series and it is super easy to run past everything
@@firetitan19 but playing the game completely normally and fighting every boss you come across makes the game difficult if you dont have any op items
After so many hours you learn that the secrets to fighting the boss is acting like the boss yourself. Stay up
In their faces, circle
Around them for everything they do. Once you start giving souls enemies space they start using their cheese abilities.
Excepting the gaping dragon. You can chill on the menu in that case.
It's been 3 years of my Dark souls 3 experience and I still die like a sheet of paper and strike like a thrown pebble
- Boss is one hit from death
- My character is one hit from death
- Estus flask is empty
Okay, its getting greedy time
And people say rolling is spammable.
That’s what I find so great about these games. You could have hundreds and thousands of hours and yet you might still die to a common enemy, fall to your death and fail to kill a boss dozens of times. No matter how much time experience, or knowledge you think you have, the game still finds a way to show you that it doesn’t fuck around
it's called "random based" game
Just like real life basically.
Это не правда
Souls gamers discover RNG:
10.000 is only 10 hours, what a hero💕
This literally is the best souls video of all time
That's why my Souls motto is: "Better die greedy than by the bad roll timing"
Dragonslayer Armour is such a cool boss if you don't lock on because you can basically nohit his fight as long as you aren't greedy. A lot of his attacks can be strafed and punished and the ones that can't are usually easy enough to roll through.
You can't strafe without locking on, so like...
@@AppleOfThineEye if you use a claw grip, you have a much freer range of motion compared to if you locked on. Same goes for twin Princes.
@@themightymcb7310 That has literally nothing to do with what I just said.
Also, normal people who want to have fun don't use The Claw lol.
@@AppleOfThineEye Proficiency while not locked on is a very important part of actually getting good at Souls games, it's the main lesson of dark souls 2 imo. Locking on makes your movements relative to the boss, which is a terrible idea when the boss is bigger than the player, moves around erratically, or has a huge blind spot at their butt.
@@themightymcb7310 Say something that proves you aren't a bot. Because you aren't replying to anything I say. Every single thing you've said is irrelevant to the comment I made.
Also DS2 is complete garbage lmao
Looking at this fight and most boss fights in the souls series, Elden Ring’s bosses are MUCH harder
Bloodborne’s bosses > Elden Ring’s bosses
Yes, but some people are going to have an easier time in Elden Ring because the builds you can make are insane (in a good way)
I found only 2 difficult bosses in Elden Ring: Malenia and Mog. I played without being called up, as I've been through other souls games a lot. Your first experience is always the most difficult, regardless of the game you start with (except maybe Sekiro.)
@@LuM4rex Same here man. Other than when I use my mage, Mogh gives me so many problems.
at least DS3 doesn’t recycle the same bosses over and over again 💀💀💀
this is a description of letting the confidence get to you
this feeling when you had absolutely similar situation with this boss
10 hours, you are nuts prodigy to say the least
About a year and nearly two months of straight gameplay, and if we assume he plays _eight_ hours everyday, he will have played this game for at least 3 and a half years consistently, which depending on how long he actually has been playing, he hasn’t used his setup for a anything other than this game if it is anything under 4 years
Found his earliest video, four years ago he no hit ran midir, which means he has played this game at least 600-1000 hours (an underestimation) before that video, which is at least another 2 or three years, coming out to around six years he has played. This estimate is in a perfect world, and does not consider breaks from the game or inconsistencies in playing it.
Wearing headphones and the fucking background chirping noise accompanying Dragonslayer Armors theme sounded like my home alarm going off and that scared the shit out of me lol.
Again, insanely impressive for a story mode game, but 1k hours+ for me is reserbed for pvp games that u especially like.
prov wqs q meme
Same
He probably doesn't have 10,000 hours
I tend to agree that with any single player game (I know, not technically single player) I don't care to replay them much, but Id say the players that get over 400 hours are likely speedrunning and doing challenge runs. I find enjoyment of doing speedrun races vs friends in DS1 and make a drinking game out of it usually.
The title is sarcastic.
I mean fair enough you only have 10 hours on dark souls. No one's perfect.
One of my favourite bosses, because he has so many openings. This is what Crucible Knight could've been, honestly. Not a guy that turtles behind his shield for 10 years.
Na crucible knight is way better cuz you actually have to learn where the openings are
Have my dislike
Not even Shyamalan can think such a plot twist.
Can we just appreciate how Dark Souls 3 is the fine wine of FromSoftware's visuals, looking absolutely stunning for a 6 year old game. I'd even say it has better visuals than Elden Ring in some places.
What are you talking about, I still think that Gael and the soul of cinder are the best bosses of all the games of this developer, on an equal footing with Ishin and Ludwig. An absolute spectacle. Just listen to the theme of the epilogue and you will be struck by emotions.
Graphics haven't changed that much in 8 years.
I thought I was the only one who played like this always rolling towards his attacking arm. The pursuer has trained my cold blood and sweat for any enemy. I hate you pursuer.
este video es la mas cercana representacion que he visto en mi vida a lo que dark souls representa xd
This is one of the best DS clips ever made
Literally exactly what I expected the whole time and it was still funny and so relatable. Except I've only played the souls games for like 5,000 hours combined.
the true dark souls experience
When you realize that literally dodge spam in ds3 was OP and you could literally play the game like that, just high stamina and boom, it’s like ninja flip ring all over again.
This is literally my entire first playthrough of Elden Ring, dying to every boss when they’e one hit from death.
god i had this with smough and ornstein after dying 20 times, i almost gave up
now i'm playing through the shitshow that is ds2 and i had it with the smelter demon after dying 6 times straight :D
Which one 👀
@@otterhd4980 The first one, already killed him (not solo though, no way) and the lost king was easy peasy! It was more the road leading up to him almost gave me cancer
Fun fact the first smelter is optional
With smelter demon, use sorcery occasionally and make sure to summon lucatiel. These two make the fight extremely helpful, though you always want to fight close range. Lucatiel will create a lot of the smelter demon explosions and you want to run away before getting hit.
Seriously I died 8 times then summoned lucatiel, did it first go
Ds2 bad skip to 3
bro said no
i always found this boss harder than nameless king just because of this one attack
My mans not dodging, he just knows where to be at every frame lol
I don't understand why people who don't use their shield don't two hand the sword
As someone used to using a shield, it's habit mostly. It's hard to let go of the *potential* to block an attack.
Still happens to me in DS3 when using the Shield of Want. Bad Stability, but it still takes commitment to two-hand the weapon I'm using.
Ok now that I stopped laughing hysterically, I'll say that as someone that got stuck on this guy at SL1, the most important thing is that you should ALWAYS heal, even if you get chip damage just like you did there, because then you lose the blue ring's (forgot its name) value, and then of course he destroys you with a single hit. It's SL1, don't be cheap on these estus flasks.
looking back at this bosses, they feel like child's play compared to elden ring
So good to come back to good bosses

No doubt
Honestly, after playing EldenRing, that boss seems pretty slow ngl, good job anyway it's still satisfying to perform a no-hit (it wasn't actually the boss that hit you so~)
