What I found was possibly the most gangster shit I’ve ever seen. Pure poetry to watch. You can see the timing of the game’s song and dance perfectly and now I see what it’s really about. No joke, I feel like floating passage is great. Bosses will take small bits of vitality damage from it that add up really quickly, then their posture doesn't recover because their vitality is too low and you can finish them off with posture damage, especially with double ichimonji. Spiral cloud passage is better, but not when you need to conserve spirit emblems for a tricky phase of a boss fight.
I use the shit out of it and works great. It's really good for getting posture damage or getting a quick hit in before needing to block or parry. Most underrated skill in the game. Mainly because people don't know how to use it.
It and Spiral cloud passage are really good for enemies who can block, they fit a combo worth of 5 normal hits otherwise we can usually do only 2-3 hits before getting deflect.
No matter how much I watch it, I still can't belive he chooses to pretty much only use thrust attacks against owl as much as possible, simply to flex his complete mastery of the combat. Definitely, but Ghost of Tsushima is the 2nd on the list imho. Nioh 1-2 they are not even compare to Sekiro as realistic melee weapon sound. Odachi it sounds like a bamboo stick while parrying or clashing to another weapon lol.
I'm more impressed with the fact he decides to step dodge through several of these attacks, and actually fucking deflects the divine dragon several times This man literally looked at the divine dragon slamming a holy relic down into his head and went "Yeah but what if I just stepped forward at the exact moment it hits me?"
This is the highest of quality Sekiro gameplay on UA-cam! Not just beating the bosses perfectly but also putting on a show, this is true mastery of the game!

For those who played Sekiro, know how difficult to deflect every strike. As someone who has a copy of this game and played it for a while now. I have learned the movements of the bosses, and can deflect their attacks. But watching this master playing this game and parrying every strike to perfection without never breaking his posture is amazing. Kudos.
This is the way of true Shinobi! No extra moves, every move calculated. Loved it. Sekiro is by far one of my top 5 games of all time and thank you for making me relive all those great memories with this video. Had to leave a comment. I just beat the game yesterday for the first time by the skin of my teeth and I wanted to see what high level play looks like. This was just absolutely enthralling from start to finish.
I am amazed how he managed to use perfectly combat arts that many consider completely useless. It makes me happy to see it is possible to pull off some sick plays with that
most ppl that say a certain thing is useless havent gotten deep enough into the combat to judge it correctly. the axe is one of the best weapons in the game because the jump attack is so freakin fast and u can pair it with other combat arts right after. thats just one way u can completely destroy an enemys posture system.
I was questioning myself wether I should play this game or Ghost of Tsushima, and this video helped to make up my mind. In an ocean of open-world more-of-the-same games, Sekiro offers something different, unique. It helps that I also never played a Soul game before.
@@FkTheUFC oh ell no, this is the most L take ever. Sekiro is mostly about combat (not discounting the story here for sekiro), Ghost of tsushima actually has one of the best story arcs ever, and honestly it trumps in the visuals too, as for the combat, its only second to sekiro.
Watching this video, as an Ashina style player reminds me of that Tengu's statement. "There are no hard, or fast rules, you just win your battles". Literally this man lives that line. Most amazing video I have ever seen.
Out of all gameplays this one is actually fun to watch he doesn't just sit there waiting for parrys he makes them happen. He actually plays the game, this is quality gameplay.
That’s how you should play the game regardless. The game actually tells you to be both aggressive and defensive. It irks me seeing people wait for attacks.
This is what makes Sekiro so different than other souls game, hell, even Elden Ring. The satisfaction you get after slapping the shit out of the bosses who once clapped your ass so many time. Not only you feel satisfied but you still like a badass with those fluid movesets. Still the strongest entry FromSoft has ever made.
Nah no armor variety. No FUGS big ass swords. Combat is good though! Just didn’t lure me along like Elden souls with cool environments. Also I suck at it honestly. I soloed bloodborne and every souls game so maybe this game just bent me over personally. Need to replay on the ps5. Sometimes frame rate makes the difference. This game is made to ruin souls players with their years of developed muscle memory.
I retract all my previous statements about this game. Back 4 years ago I got stuck on GENICHIRO for MONTHS. Granted I was using opiates and my reaction time was GARBAGE, but until then since the mid 90s as a kid, I HAD NEVER LET A GAME BEAT ME. Until Sekiro. After quitting both Sekiro and later drugs, clean 2 years this coming April, I have beaten several difficult games like Hollow Knight, Bloodborne, Dark Souls 3 and have PLATINUMED Elden Ring with all endings so Ng+6. So I thought "Hey let's try Sekiro...again...", and this time some how, some way it clicked. Genichiro 3rd try, mikiri counters, perfect reflects on his floating passage while answering with my own, and I did his last phase first try, lightning counter after lightning counter, nailed him, NO HESITATION. I just put it down for a bit cuz my hands have been hurting, I'm old. I'm at the ancient Dragons tree and blew through bosses after Genichiro. The only ones to give me trouble were the Monkey and the true Monk. Thank Buddha for the Mortal Blade. This game is much more than a glorified rythm game.Thematically beautiful, striking environments. In depth story and characters. It's all I wanted in a sword fighting ninja game. @@Solbashio Dark Souls combat is pretty basic. Elden Ring improves on it with features like Guard Counter, weapon counter and powerstancing but IMO it still doesn’t come close to Sekiro. Sekiro’s combat is so intense and fluid, while a lot of the time in DS/ER I feel as if I’m just waiting for my turn to attack. It’s weird because in all these games we’re the ones initiating the fights all the time yet Sekiro is the only time we’re on the offensive rather than starting a fight to play defensively
@@noamias4897 Because Sekiro is the game that most fluidly switches between offense and defense thanks to how the posture and parry systems work. sekiro has 3 resurrections in one life, but you get the third after getting to a certain point in the game
you can resurrect as many times as you want, but only three before you rest at a sculptor's idol or die
if you use a resurrection, there will be a black line through the other(s). to be able to use the second one, you have to kill an enemy and have then drop resurrective power
that power is a pink line that travels to sekiro
the second resurrection also has to be full. to fill up a resurrection, you need to get more of that resurrective power until the circle is full. the same goes for the third one
the first one is always full

I retract all my previous statements about this game. Back 4 years ago I got stuck on GENICHIRO for MONTHS.

@@Solbashio Dark Souls combat is pretty basic. Elden Ring improves on it with features like Guard Counter, weapon counter and powerstancing but IMO it still doesn’t come close to Sekiro.
