Rear Axle Bearings on 2017 Gmc

  • This didn’t turn out as I had hoped but I hope you got some information out of it as far as torque specs and an idea on how to do it. I recommend taking the hub to a gear and axle shop to get them to remove and install the now bearings I fear that I may have damaged mine when installing the new ones so that’s why I didn’t include it in the video. The socket I used to remove the axle but was a Lisle socket part number 31550

    Great video, I love how by the time you got the bearings in it was already pitch black outside. Really shows how frustrating these things can be.

    Isn’t the torque spec for the caliper bracket bolts 148 ft lbs?
