- This episode is a lot of fun. Gene loses his tie and goes with the scarf during today's show. We also meet "Old Friend" Janet Finn who was the leading money winner for a contestant on Match Game 74. Carol and Janet are ironically neighbors!!

My first thought was Wheat Thins. (They've been around since 1947.)
Richard took a bit more time than he usually does and seemed to discard his first answer.
The contestant said wheat germ and the camera caught Richard's typical poker face. Atypical was how he didn't draw out the suspense, instead pulling his winning card out right away...

If you search Janet Finn from Orange County, you will see this sweet lady died in 2015. They had a current pic in her obit, and she is older but with the same sweet face. her guest book is still open for comments. It would be nice to leave a comment to her family about how much we enjoyed seeing her.
Debbie is from my hometown. I wanted to see her win. 😊
Given the family name, I'd bet Debbie Shinholster has an ancestor who could have told some interesting stories.
Very rare to see a former contestant! They've been mentioned, but, I think this is the only time one was in the audience!
Both contestants that won big money on this show were jittery AND in the audience. Remember the other one? She had a very slight resemblance to Cindy Williams.

@MAC Dorothy Zinny must have been in episodes that were either skipped or banned by GSN/Buzzr since I have only seen her in the audience TWICE after her win.

Here's a public reply to Ann Marie's comment....if you do a You Tube search....you'll find Tattletales episodes...featuring Mr. & Mrs.Bob Barker...Mr. & Mrs.Richard Dawson...Gene & Helen Rayburn....Bert & Anne Convy...and Allen Ludden and Betty White....and the game show hosts all took turns hosting Tattletales....so Bert and his wife could play the game!
Richard Dawson may have been on Tattletales with a friend, but he was never married during the time Tattletales was on the air.

@@ShortyGirl63 I believe you are talking about Gretchen Johnson. He dated her for 10 years and married her. They were married until his death. They had a daughter. If you do a youtube or google search, you can see the episode where they met on Family Feud.
