Thanks for info, I didn't know he passed :( I was confused why everyone was saying "rip stan" because I didn't know who Stan was until you stated this info.
Long after the founders death, Microsoft is a stale shell of what it used to be. It has stooped down into an advertising company, and its former headquarters was completely abandoned. As Bill Gates' great-grandson explored the ancient building, he looks at all the broken down computers next to him. In a disused cupboard, a 55-year old Dell PC greeted him. He hook it home, and showed it to his Grandpa. Memories instantly sparked upon the son of Gates, and quickly the elder asked him to turn it on. Despite its age, it lit up with no problems. It finally had a use. It was put on a computer exhibit and was used to relight memories for the old, and make new experiences for the young. Microsoft may almost be dead, but it's revolutionary operating system, that even haters could agree upon, will live on for much longer.
Combine this with a cold beer and a warm summer evening. Heaven on Earth.
RIP stan. You made my childhood and give me my passion for pc's
