People say rip Windows XP, who ever said it died? I'm using it to post this comment right now. By all means it is usable in 2023, as long as you you don't mind not being able to play as many modern games it's fine. I can run Minecraft 1.8.9 perfectly as my gpu is pretty good.
Back in 2001, windows was way better, but now windows is just another oversimplified spyware. Macos has lost caracter too, with the removal of alot of photo booth themes and simplification of imovie, but it is still way less than what Microsoft does nowadays. Windows 10 and 11 don’t have a installation music, and don’t have preinstalled games anymore. They also don’t have fun camera filters unlike macos. Macos is the only one to have games installed. Yes, macos is better nowadays.
