Not sure if it's on note 8 or not, but on previous SPlanner, you can double click or hold down a bit longer on certain date with the spen and quickly scribble down your events.

The software is a bit harder than the iOS but it seems like that's only because it has much more to offer! I guess I am converting to Samsung this time instead if upgrading to iPhone X "currently using iPhone 6s Plus". Many thanks for the great reviews. One question is, do you think you can make a review about the Samsung note 8 usage with Microsoft office? Including excel and word? I searched and couldn't find any detailed review regarding note 8 & Microsoft office. Cheers

InspiredObserver, On S8 I use Hancom Office from Galaxy Store, it's Microsoft Office compatible but is much more mature and complete experience. Give it a shot.

How do you write a note while using another application? I'm trying to use notes to jot down a phone number from a voicemail while listening to the voicemail. Also I can't seem to write a note while on a call, would like to jot down what info I gather from a call while on the call. Somehow whenever i take the pen out, it either stops the voicemail, or I can't hear the call even when on speaker, and they can't hear me. I swear I saw them using this feature on the note 8 commercial on tv but I can't get it to work.
+katmichellebelle It might depend on what voicemail option your phone uses but here are two options. 1 hold down the S Pen button and tap the screen twice to pop up the note. This may cause the voicemail but you can minimize the note and pop it back up to add the next note. Option 2 is to see if you can listen to the voicemail in split screen with voicemail on one side and notes on the other.
The box for My easy writing pad has suddenly appeared, although the pad is not operational. This limits the size of the note. The button for the easy writing pad only turns the pad on or off, but doesn't remove the box that has appeared at the bottom. How do i get rid of this, please?

I downloaded the sketchbook app and tried to do exactly what you did however I can't find a transform button under tools? Couldn't make my picture smaller to fit the background image.

Hi, may I know what is the best planner for note 8 that you would recommend to record daily plan/schedule? Google calendar or S Planner or something else?
using the S pen to select photos did not work on my phone, there was no "+" sign when I press the S pen button. Could it be that I am using quick pics instead of gallery to browse my photos?
Btw all apps can work in multi window You just have to go into developer options and the 2nd to last option is " force activities to be resizeable " for multi window 👍😁
Your videos should be required viewing for all Note 8 buyers. Flying and Driving without proper training is never a good idea. Kudos. My Note and I will now be able to conquer the world!

Yes you need to use the stock Gallery app for this to work. Sorry if I never replied, sometimes the UA-cam app never posts my replies.
