Anyone still having trouble with Write on PDF on home screen.. Try this, open a PDF, then top right hand cnr menu select open with 'Write on PDF'. Then top right hand corner menu next to save, click 'add to short cuts' now u will have this shortcut on home screen..

Really great video , i liked the note buddy , i miss the sounds you get from taking the stylus out lol, i used to have it on note 4 , but they've omitted from note 8, my favourite stylus games is sudoku & scribble which you get from samsung store where you can use a stylus to play them , i especially love doing the sudoku ,writing the numbers in , it's different .thanks for sharing .

Write on PDF should be on the phone. Go to your files and find the folder named Write on PDF. Also for sounds I have a full video for changing s pen sounds. But I use soundbible.com or a Google search
I couldnt find Write On Pdf. Also, Finger Gestures is not working for me (i turned on fingerprint gestures in accessibility).

Appt Geek is great. I've been using it for a couple years and it replaced 5 other tech news feeds that I used to have on my phone. You can use the Widget and make a 1 to 5 line feed box that updates live and you can scroll through it on a home page, and click an item to launch Appy Geek directly into that news page.

Dave Peterson I found that by pressing the 3 vertical dots at the upper right while viewing the PDF in Write On PDF, and you will have 2 options. First option is add shortcut - choose this and you will now have an icon for the app on your home screen

Hey Jimmy is there an app or hidden trick to change the sound when you write with the S pen? The only sound I hear is the sound of a pencil writing when I write notes down. Just a thought, would be cool to hear different sounds or effects when actually writing a note or coloring something in. Let us know, thanks.

For the first gesture, it does not work if the phone is locked, and I am using a unregistered finger to switch on the flashlight. Because if I use the registered one, it will also unlock the phone. And switching on the flashlight does not work at all with double tap.

I can't find write on PDF on google play or galaxy app store. I can open a PDF and then write on PDF pops up as an option and it works great, but I can't find the app on my phone.

+Scot Woon have you downloaded a PDF yet? Might unlock and pop up once there is a PDF that it can read. I found mine within My Files-internal-scroll down to Write on PDF.
Jimmy is Promo, just an update.. I did look under the Myfiles path, and I didn't see it. I did have several pdf's on my phone, so I clicked on one, and the app was the first choice to use to open it! Now it shows in the Myfiles path. Still no icon that I can find on my phone, but I can get to it, so I'm good. Thanks again!

I think the title of this video should’ve been called 7 “Cool” vs. “Best” Apps. Not that they were all interesting. Most I was already familiar. Not familiar with the game and liked it, but not the “Best” game, it’s a cool game. Yes, no doubt Write on PDF is probably one of the best. I also would have to say Snote is the Best app. However, I am referring to an older version that includes Action Memo. Like others, I’m still hoping Samsung listens to their customers, like they did in bringing back the SD card, and brings the original Snote App back with Action Memo. I already know you can still download it, but it’s still missing things like Photo Note, Easy Charts, and other things. I guess it’s still better than nothing. While Samsung Notes is OK, I still just don’t understand how Samsung thinks it’s better than the original Snote. Action Memo is so unique and really a difference maker compared to anything other Android phones or Apple has. I urge them to rethink this and please bring it back officially. I think it would be a huge competitive advantage, especially if they advertise it like crazy (even just half as much as they are advertising Live Messages). I know most companies, especially tech, are looking for that competitive advantage, and Samsung you have two in your Note series. You just need to show them off. In case you’re unaware of the two, it’s the Spen and the original Snote with Action Memo. Unless you have used the Note series, most people including me before I tried the Note 2, have no idea what the Spen is. They think it’s just a stylus to draw and write with. I’m not trying to say it’s not, but it’s so much more. Yet, you don’t do anything to educate the consumer. Instead you advertise “Live Messages” like on every other commercial. While it’s a cool feature, it’s FAR from really showcasing what you have. You want to sell these phones for these high MSRPs (still don’t know who’s actually paying full price), you might have the only product that may actually warrant it. Yet you need to show it off. Every person, including Apple fans, except one that I’ve shown my Note phones bought them and they love them. Every response including the one iPhone fan that didn’t buy it all were exactly the same. “They had absolutely no idea that the Spen can do that”, even that one person that didn’t, who by the way is still considering it. So I would bring back the original Snote with Action Memo and all of its extensions. If you want alternate commercials with live messages (if you must). I feel you would surprise a lot of people and increase your sales tremendously. I wouldn’t even be surprised if some of your current Note owners aren’t fully aware of the capabilities that their phone does. I know when I got my first Note I was discovering new things constantly. I’m not saying there won’t be some iPhone fans who just want to stay in the IOS system. However, I think you’ll convert a lot of other Android users. If you want to start making up for the poor way you handled the Note 7 fiasco, bringing the original Snote with Action Memo back officially would be a huge leap in my books! Maybe the more people who post in different places they want this back, they’ll consider it. I would say maybe it’s just me, but yet I see it all over the place. I’ve actually also witnessed a couple of people who are not interested in buying the Note 8 because the original Snote with Action Memo isn’t available. What made them bring back the SD card? We should follow the exact same steps to see if we can get them to do it with this app as well. It’s even easier this time because it’s just software. I still want to thank you for what you do! I enjoy your videos!

Couldn't get Note Buddy to play my insertion/detachment sounds. It still plays the default sounds. When I go to accessability, Note Buddy isn't listed for me to turn on/enable.
Am I missing something? I rewatched the video several times.

Activate developer mode by tapping several times on your mobile build number. You can modify the animation or turn it off

It is a little touchy. It's all about the touch. Hope they send updates but it's a good app

i have tons of pdfs downloaded....still not there. I work for Samsung...lol....so i think i'm relatively tech proficient! lol still cant find it....
ok i went to download in My Files...clicked on a PDF and Write On PDF came up as an option to open it...i chose that...now all my PDFs open using Write On PDF...which i guess is fine. But Write On PDF still is not in Internal Storage.

+Cleveland Stamps it is preistalled. Make sure a PDF is there and it will pop up. I mentioned it in the video and description

@@Kung-Tech-Fu I know it's been a year but if you still couldn't find it you need to go into your settings, then apps, then Acrobat. Change the setting that makes Acrobat the default program for opening PDF files so it isn't the default. The next time you open a PDF file it will list Write on PDF in the options to open it with :).

Fingerprint Gestures App wont work with my new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 I have tried everything - so I gave up and uninstalled it. NO I don't give up easily....I did exactly what the video showed me to do and WOULD NOT WORK........

+bigblackfl sorry about that. Lots go on when you shoot videos for the internet. Plus I don't know what people know and don't know. But yes, those who would use PDF Write would normally already have a PDF on there that it would work
The fingerprint app is absolute trash, very buggy and has awful reviews. Come on man, I downloaded it anyway bc you said it was cool. I'll never listen to you again.
