Got my DDJ-Rev1 as an update from my SB3 a few weeks ago and absolutely LOVE IT!! The toggle switches and larger Jog Wheels are definitely an upgrade

I have the DDJ-SB3 and I am LOVING IT!!! It really lives up to the standard that it sets for anyone who wants to start DJing and feel good about experiencing it for the first time. Plus it helps you familiarize yourself with music as a whole. Anyone who uses the SB3 first will feel right at home using the REV1 in my opinion.

I have DDJ SB3
I use pair of plx1000 + s9. Never been excited of DDJ REV1. So i buy one. Its great
@digital dj gear - So we are losing the scratch pad feature with the REV-1?..how do you suggest replacing that feature? (brand new btw) Looks like the SB3 is no longer available
The REV-1 has replaced the SB3 as the Pioneer DJ entry level controller. Fear not! The tracking scratch and scratch bank features will help you scratch like a pro!
So both these dj controllers will not be able to use serato dj pro only the lite version?
Any device with lite can use pro u just gotta pay for it
Thank you so much for uploading the video. I have two SB3 and one SR2 in my collection, but my question is it worth selling one of the SB3 for the REV1? Will I be gaining anything new beside the effects toggle? If you had gig, which one would you choose?
REV1 has newer features that are helpful. Also consider a larger controller such as aN FLX6 which gives a lot of added FX

Are the pads in the SB easier to tap complected patterns with?
The Rev 1 looks like u can't really get to hands in there and tap away very easily to me
The SB3 pads are definitely bigger but they are a softer push, the REV1 pads are noticeably smaller but they click, which is nice because you know when you push them.
The squishy SB3 pads are good because they're bigger but I like knowing they got pushed with the click of the REV1

Depends on your needs but the REV1 is easier to find in stock these days!
I dont know which one to get. I really wanted the sb3 since i tried a sb2 and wanted the newer version but its so hard to find since its discontinued and i need to find one in mint condition. The rev1 is a good new edition but the layout kinda freaks me out but maybe its just unfamiliar
The rev1 is great you will get used to the layout quickly
i just got the rev-1 but it wont connect to my serato at all why is that i tried all the troubleshooting for it and nothing worked
Did you try connecting the controller to your computer before launching Serato? Try restarting your computer with the controller plugged in and then launching software or even reaching out to their support
I thought you had them side by side that would be a better comparison
We compared the features of both for you, the REV1 has replaced the SB3 so it is less likely you will have to choose between the two, Pioneer DJ will be promoting the REV1 now
