Friends, FLX4's working with mobile and having a smart fader is very appealing. However, there is also FLX6 GT. It does not have a smart fader or mobile usage but it has features like merge fx and its grandeur. I am torn between the two. Flx4's being mobile compatible tempts me, I suddenly want to buy it but when I think about flx6 gt, I wonder if I should buy a bigger device while I have it. Of course, there is a two-fold price difference. I have had a hercules 4-mx for 12-13 years. I made a wrong choice at the time and I did not enjoy it at all so I did not think much about it. So I have a regret. Should I buy FLX4 or FLX6 GT? Can I ask for your opinion?
@@adammorrellothere is no perfect controller cuz they always leave something out to compete with the other models or guess what? One model would dominate them all 😂
She opted for the Denon dj Prime Go which I have but made some modifications to the unit. She is building her own musician studio, her clarinet, my old Zoom R8, a few Shure Mic's, and Presonus on her laptop.
Interesting mixer... What would recommend for a beginner dj.. A 4 channel or 2 channel? Any bundle package with monitors that are worth it to a good sound output? Love the lesson...pretty cool! Really appreciate your input 👍 Much blessings 🙌 Ty🎛🎛🎛🎧🎧😎👍
As a previous vinyl Dj I’m a newbie to digital so went with the FLX4 bundle with Pioneer DM50 speakers and HDJ CUE1 headphones. More than enough to learn for a beginner, great bit of kit imo and I’m loving it!!
@@PottsyUK I had a problem with previous Pioneer DJ controllers (DDJ RB, DDJ 400) where the sound card was very noisy (white noise)... Could this problem also exist with these controllers? Do they have the same crappy sound card? Is it possible that this is related to the fact that the sound card only operates on RCA unbalanced output?
Skip the FLX6-GT...lots of people complaining about the job wheels coming defective, mine was one of them...How can Pioneer F up the SELLING POINT of the FLX6?!?!?!?! go for FLX4 or save for DDJ800 or FLX10.
bro i just returned a used flx6 . i paid 399 for it and it came with a deck saver but the griding noise on the job wheels bothered me so much i returned and bought a new flx4 .
Hi, thanks for the review. I would like to ask, I am singer and I will sing over my tracks, is it possible to do it with both? Can I give some effects to my voice or will i need to use an extra soundcard and programm. For singers which controller will work better? Thanks
Hi, thanks for your interest! These controllers are really designed with DJs in mind, but it would certainly be possible for a vocalist to use them to perform with backing tracks. However, only the FLX10 will allow you to apply effects to the microphone input. Using one of the other controllers in the line, you might want to look at other solutions to process your vocal sound. I particularly like the TC Helicon VoiceLive Play for vocal effects: www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/VLPlay--tc-helicon-voicelive-play-vocal-harmony-and-effects I hope this helps a bit - feel free to contact me directly with any further questions, and thanks again! great, thanks a lot for the help, actually I have boss vocal processor, so I can combine both machines and use :) then. FLX4 or 6 or 400 will be enough for it?@@sweetwater

i'm in the same boat buddy hopefully someone answers
They dropped the ball with the gt model they should have added xlr outs for master and booth and a second usb.
Exactly man,,, those features are really important for pure sound quality
They don't want to cannibalise sales of the DDJ-1000, this is significantly cheaper and aimed at hobbyists who won't connect it to a club system.
agreed, woulda been the perf controller 4 me

I’m looking into updating my mixer I’ve been using a DDJ-SB for a couple of years and wanting to upgrade to maybe a DDJ-FLX6

How did she like it?? My niece is asking me about it.

@10:09 why the edit though? did you have to line up the two tracks off camera?
Does merge effect turn on autoloop?? Is it a mapping??

Yes my bro
Am I the only one waiting for a new controller in between the flx4 and the flx10? Like a “flx8” to take flx6 place 🥹

You can do live vocal effects on the 600 for twitch?
Genial 👍🏼
Is there any reason the pad FX can’t be heard in headphones while mixing?
Yeah
We need flx10.....like ddj 1000
your wish came true !
Hey man l m failing to open your Link
the flx 6 jog wheels are way bigger
$650 for a controller with no XLR's No TRS NO LCD full-color screens or Support for Phono inputs for Truntable/DVS or replaceable crossfader ...
It is bus powered….that is why!
I really dismay this instrumental 😢
Why does pioneer make controllers with only RCA outputs🤦🏿♂️. This has to stop. everything about the FLX looks great, but I can't do the outputs
What is the best option for djs in general?
I don't like small DJ equipment.
