India ink can actually be used for making tattoos on your own (i.e. the stick-and-poke method), so that's probably why it stained for so long

Could you have used the toothpick trick for the rainbow scratch idea? Put a glossy taco on a holo nail polish and paint acrylic paint over it then scratch designs over it?
You can use acrylic paint mixed with a little bit of hand soap for the scratch-off thing

With rainbow scratches, when I did it forever ago at summer camp we added dishqash detergent to black paint. I dont remember if it was acrylic or tempera or whatever, but the detergent helped it to come up easily... we also did it over wax crayon though come to think of it...
For a good scratch off paint you can mix acrylic paint with dawn dish soap (or at least that’s what I used) at any other dish soap!

I'm not sure if it would work on nails but if in the future you do scratch art stuff, whenever I make actual scratch art I just mix black acrylic with dawn dish soap and it works great!

Hi Cristine! I was thinking about the scratch art one. If you put a top coat after the base colour(s), and then cover your nail in black acrylic paint, you'll be able to scratch it. You've shown us the toothpick trick a few times, so I think it might work.

thats what she did. you can see her put it on in the video. it didnt work becuase her intire nail was covered and she didnt have anything to get under the paint. where as when you make a mistake you can scratch it off when your tooth pick is already under the paint.
