i don't know if she is ambidextrous but personally when I started painting my nails one of my hands was always super messy, but if you practice you get better at it !! Like anything really, practice makes everything better haha

I've been hoping for a rainbow polish drop from Holo Taco, that's just like plain polishes in all the colors of the rainbow, but I don't think these are it. Compared to the blue and purple (which are existing shades from Holo Taco) the teal seemed a little watery, and the text above it specifically says "assorted brand". I did go back to look after I saw this comment though.

Gouache paint is basically a mix between acrylic and watercolors. And just like watercolors reactivate with water so does gouache so if you were to use it as I understood as “on the go” scratching you wouldn’t use a top coat and the gouache would reactivate and “dissolve” off your nail. My mother is an artist and my brother and I got her old cast off art supplies, so our whole super privileged childhood, we're using prismacolors on our coloring books and using gouache for our watercolors lol. Mama haaaaaates watercolor foe some reason (I love it, watercolor is bae), so it was all gouache. She had metallics, too, and I was just smote.

I painted myself green today (I'm an artist in quarantine) and after I was finished I realized my hot pink nails were ruined (And I looked like the wicked witch of the west. I was that green). After showering for an hour, the paint still had not vanished from my nails. The green paint had bonded to the polish. I tried to paint over them, but I soon realized that this would not work well. I now must remove the polish and repaint them.
It`s actually very popular in Ukraine and largely used in schools/pre-school cause it`s cheaper than acrylics, easier to manage and wash off if your child gets in on their clothes or smth. Keeping in mind that Troom Troom is a ukrainian...company I guess, it makes sense that they use gouache

Im sure someone else has already explained this: Gouache is watercolor paint. The difference is, its like watercolors and acrylic had a baby. Watercolor is translucent. Gouache is opaque. Also acrylic = plastic. Basically. Acrylic can not be worked with once fully dry, but watercolor and gouache can be lifted off with water. Once watercolor and gouach dry on your pallet, you can add water to work with them again. But you can't do that with acrylic.

Historical perspective-firstly made with watercolor and chalk. Gives good coverage, isnt water resistant when dry (in contrast to acrylic)

It`s actually very popular in Ukraine and largely used in schools/pre-school cause it`s cheaper than acrylics, easier to manage and wash off if your child gets in on their clothes or smth. Keeping in mind that Troom Troom is a ukrainian...company I guess, it makes sense that they use gouache
Gouache is magical. I wish I knew about it earlier. It’s great for creating illustrations.

Just as an FYI for anyone who cares: Gouache paint is basically a more opaque version of watercolor and has a similar texture acrylic when it dries.

I was surprised Cristine didn't know it, cause here in Brazil that's a super common type of paint for kids to use. I used to work at a preschool and we had to always stock up on bottles upon bottles of all colors of gouache paint.

Hannah is a human ambidextrous means you are able to use both your left and right hand equally. There is no dominant hand . I do believe that what it means.

Im sure someone else has already explained this:
Gouache is watercolor paint.
The difference is, its like watercolors and acrylic had a baby.
Watercolor is translucent.
Gouache is opaque.
Also acrylic = plastic. Basically.
Acrylic can not be worked with once fully dry, but watercolor and gouache can be lifted off with water.
Once watercolor and gouach dry on your pallet, you can add water to work with them again. But you can't do that with acrylic.
