For Gaius, if you stand by that corner of wall right next to where you entered the arena, then alternate between standing on one side of the corner vs. the other every time he commences an attack, he will pretty much never hit you with any of his big attacks lol. Like if he decides to charge he will charge right in to the wall if you step around to the other side, and same when he does his meteor attack
No-no-no! Messmer never was loved by Marika. And the reason why he was abandoned wasn't his "warcrimes". All bad thing he dose is FOR MARIKA. She wanted him to do exactly what he does. She despise him for his curse. He was born with it, and she dispised him from the very first breath he takes. So she send him away and abandone him. She is an architect of this genocide, Messmer is builder.
Can I say, that shattering eyeball is some of the WORST foley in a game ever? Oh, it’s pronounced U-for-ee-a. “A state of intense happiness and self-confidence.”
the last fight is absurd. normally I'm all down for hard fights but this one is just a clusterfuck of effects on my screen and I can't even tell what's going on anymore. I love the game, I love the difficulty (so much so, I played the game without armor just for the sake of having it done once) and I love the DLC and it's difficulty just the same But this one fight. This one dogshit fight againts Radahn and Miquella. I'm having frame drops because of all the shit they throw at me.
For real his 2nd phase cut my fps in half everytime. I really wish we got a new character we've never seen. It's cool don't get me wrong but the fight isn't fun after the 200th try.
It's not supposed to be a coherent lore, it is as intended. They deliberately do not explain major things and leave massive "plot" holes. Miyazaki has likened his games' lore to being a child playing pretend and filling in the blanks as you go. He wants players to use their imagination and get the overall vibe, not a concrete story and setting. It's not supposed to be a studied lore like Tolkien where it all makes sense and you know everyone's backgrounds and motives. It is more like abstract art

all of Souls games are flawed for the only way to stay alive is to dodge no other way to mitigate damage besides that or investing heavy in endurance with that wall of a house shield and armor. and Bayle not that hard with some spell caster build from afar even on newgame4

God I wish I knew this at the time. Spent a full day getting my ass kicked by that fucker

I say like 3 times that I'm not an elden ring lore expert for a reason
@@birdheadd np, it's kinda hard to follow lore and sometimes even plot in this games :D
It definitely is in elden ring lol. Over here reading item descriptions for pieces of lore

There's no H in the name lol
@@birdheadd You are right and it’s a made up word. I will see myself out. The shattering eye still sounds like shit.
Agreed
Next time you travel thru the Abyssal Woods try using the Shatter Arrow as a distraction for the frenzie enemies.
Damn I never thought of that

The lore is a mess, they got confused, or it got too big, so meh

Yeah I mean magic has always been the most op playstyle in the game. I used milady so it was definitely more of a challenge
