*Very easy to set up and use, attractive but be sure you understand the height--it's not tall. The heat is not overwhelming, but steady and pleasant fireplace fireplace.homes . It's quiet, too. I like the possibility of easily moving it from room to room i
Removed a section in my camper where the entertainment area is and installed. Works great. Instead of propane furnace heat, I can use this ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxATHBlMJwipGgVWseuAFKvDQ_5R4_lywo to heat the camper as long as it's hooked up to shore power. Only thing I do not like is there does not seem to be a thermostat. I'm presuming it has a built-in one so it does not overheat. Really like all the other color options it has to offer.
Thank you, we love it :)
This was only such an informative, INDEPTH and useful video. Really really great! Best one tutorial I’ve seen and I’ve seen every single one. Easy and to the point! X
Great build, looks very nice. I would add that if you have bought a Dolby atmos sound bar the up firing speakers would be hindered by the wall.
Same issue I had. Ended up modifying a Sanus Extendable mount for the Sonos Arc
I haven’t watched all of it because I thought you was building it. It’s more of a show it than how to. Thanks anyway still subbed. It did give me some ideas for my DIY build
glad it gave you some ideas :)
Your carpenter is very good.
Wow just what I had in mind for my lounge and then to find they are not far away excellent
Aww hope you love yours too :)
I do wish you had shown how the unit is secured to the wall. Probably "renter" friendly and done with two small brackets and strapping attached at the top of the unit. Is that right?
The side shelves could have "cubbies," which are shelf-sized baskets, placed on the bottom two shelves. They are used to train your child(ren) to use to put their toys/belongings in their cubbies each and every time they're done playing. I actually didn't do this with my children. I cleaned up after them. But my grown children do train their children that play time must include "clean up," which I put in quotes because they sing a song as they train their children to tidy, and they tell them how much the toys (using the dollies names/truck model name) appreciates being put away in her/their special place. As my family grows, I see older grandchildren training their younger siblings on how to sing the clean-up song and how toys love to be put away in their special cubby. (PS I do so hope this sounded like suggestions that you could use and not like criticism.)
what a beautiful home
Good job looks stunning, just finished for my daughter but im a painter by trade not a chippy so took me a bit longer 😂 one tip regards to priming as can keep cost down, matt emulsion what you based out after wood primer is perfect for bare wood as it's absorbent so no need for wood primer, it's really just to bring the splinters out in bare wood & then wet & dry for a really smooth finish 👍
Thank you, that's really useful :)
@@AtHomeWithChelle what fireplace was that ?👍
I liked looking at you more than the project
Finally, a non DIY TV firewall build video. Because not everybody has the time or even the desire to build one for themselves. Great look, i Only wish you gave pricing information on the contractor for this particular build. But, thanks for the inspiration
There was no way we were attempting this ourselves, it would not have turned out well! We paid just £900 if that helps. It would've been less if we didn't add on the doors and built in storage :)
@@AtHomeWithChelle where is the carpenter located?
It looks great but if that is a Dolby Atmos sound bar you won’t get any Atmos effects where you have put it
Not sure what Sony model it is, but some don't actually have upward firing speakers despite being Dolby Atmos capable. The Atmos effect is created with digital processing wizardry. Complete rubbish if you ask me and I'd never buy one without physical upward firing speakers
It looks really lovely , so cozy 👍🦋
this wall fireplace looks GORGEOUS!!! It looks like a velvety texture on it and the added glitter is a plus! What is the specific color of the paint you chose?
Thank you, the colour was called Victoria from impera Italia
Yes Ally Macoist on the telly. Looks amazing Chelle.👍💕
Thank you 😊
Great video. You have a great way of explaining this!
Thank you :)
Love it
I love it
Superrr Superrr wonderful 💛💚👍🖐😘
Thank you so much :)
Looks good i'd be looking at something similar, but one thing is you got a dolby atmos sound bar, but blocked in the sides and top of it so it can only fire the sound from the front, makes whatever side/top firing speakers it has in it a bit redundant
Hi, we got the one that just puts the sound out the front, not with speakers on the top or sides etc
It looks amazing, we are building ours right now can’t wait to get done ✅
Thank you, hope you love it as much as we do :)
Very good guys, for showing an idea of design....be more amazing if you had built and developed it, allot of people out there are more than capable of doing this and do, would be a good tutorial for individuals if there was a a build process with Somone who is knows what there doing. Reference the bond line or intersection plastering to join the separate sections would mitigate this.
Chelle this is amazing 🤩 i am creating my own very soon . Love your videos so much Luv Chelle 🙋🏻♀️
Very beautiful.
Beautiful home
Thank you 😊
Top job
Looks good wow 😮
Wow
Thank you :)
Thanks for this, we’re looking to build something similar, looks amazing
Thank you, we love it :)
Nice work. I’m currently working on a similar project and even had the same idea for the sound bar. I’m gonna install bookshelves on either side of the unit. Hopefully comes out nice.
bookshelves at the side would look amazing 👏
I wish i had gone for the MDF approach! I had plaster board and then skimming done and have been trying to correct the mess the decorators caused me! 😰 that paint looks awesome! I will try using that to fix my mess lol xx
I was sceptical at first as most I'd seen had been plastered but I love the finish and hidden storage. Aww no that sounds like a nightmare, hope you get it sorted soon. The paint is incredible :)
@@AtHomeWithChelle i did get it sorted in the end 🥳 spent the weekend sanding it down and used the same paint! 😍 omg that paint is tooooo sexy! Lol xx
Looks really lovely.
Thank you, im so pleased with it 😊
Loved this work one qestion were can I fine this digital fire place?
looking amazing, what is the dimension gaps between the floor to the fire and fire to the tv please?
Not for me but glad you got what you wanted and are happy with it.
Thank you
Looks awesome 👌
thank you so much :)
good job
It turned out amazing. I really want to do this! May I ask approximately how much you paid the carpenter.
She paid £900 or $1239.78 US
I charge £850 😛haha

Just wondering if the heater is good on the fire plus does it come from the front of the fire
Hi Im planing to do something like you, its very cool ;)
Please advice should I use mdf board or plaster board? Im worried that mdf board could bend after a while becouse of temperature coming from fireplace. Does it still looks ok with yours?
Amazing
Thank you
The best I seen by far! Anyone in the us can do this for me?!? Maryland?
If u find one, let me know.
Looks Great,
Only problem is the speakers on top of the soundbar is now covered as it is recessed in ...
Thank you, the one we got the sound comes out the front of the sounder rather than the top :)
Where does heat come from? Does it not effect the frame? Nice job 👍
I’m building a media wall now but having it plastered , 1 thing I’ve picked up on , your sound bar is Dolby atmos ? That has up firing speakers and you have it flush in the wall ??? How’s that sound etc ? Thanks
This is so amazing 😍
Hi Chelle! how many inches is the wall from the edge of the TV? I am recessing my TV in as well but wondering about your spacing? it looks great! I figure maybe about and inch and a half?
very nice Chelle. questions:
Where does the generate heat goes to?
Does it not effect the frame?
Where does the sky box sit
Hi, is it possible to list the items. E.g your fire and tv bracket and lights please. Really looking to get this. Thanks
Hi, yes of course. Sorry, I thought they were in the description box. I will add them :)
I cant find the links?
Can I have the link for the fire please
Hi what fireplace brand do you recommend please
I also want to box in my sound bar like that. I think it looks so neat. But does it effect the sound at all?
l have just got this fire has l loved your so much any chance you can remember your over all measures from top to bottom has l can have some idea for the builder 👷♂️
Where did you by your beautiful curtains ❤️
Hi,
Great set up. What is the size of your living room? I am planning to do similar but my living room is quite small
Where did you put sky?
Looks great did you do a video on applying the feature paint?
Looks lovely! Silly question but does the fire actually generate heat? Like an old electric fire would? Thanks
Great video. How do you manage for your virgin/sky box?
Where did you get the fire place from and how much did it cost
And have u seen a change in your electric bill?
How did he attach the mdf to the frame as i can't see any screws holes or nails?
Great video, exactly what we would like. Can you tell me where you have your Sky box?
Thank you. Our box is in the unit itself, so basically inside the side door. It's a sky Q box and the signal works through the wall. Hope that helps
Do you have a blueprint for that layout build? I want to do something similar. Including the side shelving and bottom with a soundbar.
Aint gomna lie looked better before looked warmer
We're was the fire from plz
Looks fab.. what fire place did u use..
Thank you, it's gazco. I included link in the description
Someone is a Caroline Girvan squaddie 😂😂😂😂
What type of wood was used for the studs (to make the frame for the mdf to go on)
Do you have any concern about heat rising up to the TV? Thanks
Beautiful!! So about how much did you spent in everything?
Hi - looks stunning! Can I ask - do the logs and pebbles come with the fireplace or did you buy these separately?
Hello great video! what colour did you use please?
Where is your cable box etc ?..Thanks
Hi very nice. I noticed you didn’t respond to listing the items used. I was was going to ask what size tv and fireplace you have as well as what fireplace
thank you, sorry, I thought I'd replied. The fire is the Gazco E135r and the tv is 55 inches. Hope that helps :)
@@AtHomeWithChelle it does thank you
Looking to do this, how easy is it to attach new devices/top boxes to the tv in the future?
Super easy as there is a door opening at one side where I can access everything :)
What’s the inches
Hi, Where are you hiding your sky box please? Love it, looking forward to building ours in our new house.
Hi, the box is in the wall itself. There is a wall at the side to be able to access everything. It's a sky Q box so the signal works through the wall
We are looking at doing this but been told we have to plaster? Because of the fire? Which fire did you use x
Te quitara mucho espacio y dinero
What is the dimensions of the frame, and the dimension of the fire. Cheers
Where did you get your fireplace from please xxx
Looks great. And a good way to hide wires, cables. Is the fire electric or something else besides?
I love having no cables etc on show, yes it's electric
hi there,,did u say u sanded mdf yeah,,was it messy
What is the fireplace have you got a link?! Non in the description
Gazco eReflex 135R Inset Electric Fire, I've added link in description now :)
Hiya just came across your page . Planning to do the same . Your media came out soo amazing ! Can i ask what is the depth of your media wall and length ? X
Hi, fantastic video. End result is amazing. Can you tell me where you placed your sky box. We are having something similar built shortly, would like the sky box hidden but obviously it needs to receive the remote control signal. Thanks in advance
Thank you so much, I'm so pleased with it. The box inside the side door, so basically inside the unit. It's a sky q box so the signal works through the wall. I'm not sure the signal works the same on a normal sky box. Hope that helps.
Ah, I see. Thank you for letting me know. Cheers
@@AtHomeWithChelle Great, sorry should have read previous questions before asking, we have Sky Q and doing this very soon.
Hi
Sky Q main box is Bluetooth so you can hide the box
hi do you have a link to the fire please?

Sorry if I sound rude but how much does this cost if its not a secret?
I have a Bose 700 would u know how much extra mm I would need on the left right and top of the sound bar ?
no idea sorry, I think it depends how the sound comes out. Ours has quite a big gap on top and the sound is great
Wondering if you have link for fire place

Looks awesome guys, one question for you...... how did you wire in the sky box? Is it hidden somewhere?
We are building ours right now, the wiring is easy
Hi,
I have just built my own using MDF.
Can I ask what did you use to fill the joins were the MDF meets. What type of filler?
Thanks
Ronseal 2 part filler is great to use
Great project and looks fab.
Where did you get the fire, what’s the model number / name please ?
Hello.. I was wondering if you got an answer on that question Nigel.. I asked the same but just got told Gazco.. if you know the model and number can you forwarded it to me please.. thanks Beckie
What fire did you have please
This is the Gazco fireplace, I've put a link in the description box
how wide is the whole stuff?
What type of board is that?
Looks amazing. Don’t suppose you would have pictures of the build in stages you could email me at all? I’m looking to build similar.
Great build. Was the MDF strong enough to hold the TV bracket without issues? Thanks
Thank you. Yes so far so good :)
Beautiful my husband is in the process of doing our own .I love your curtains can I ask where did you purchase.
thank you so much 😊 The curtains are from the range
