Hi Nicole I too ordered a few orchids from Amazon as well and still have some of them in my collection. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. Have a great weekend stay safe and happy growing 🥰 Reah
the first and only orchid i have gotten from amazon was a species - being maxillaria tenufolia (tipo), in spring of last year. i didn’t know much about species then, so it became a little set-back. it still bloomed for me - but wasn’t thriving, not necessarily the vendors fault cause it’s still healthy! but about 300 orchids later and it’s much prefers the conditions and care being given now 😂.
I think I may have bought from one of these same vendors when I got into orchids. If so, I’m really hoping the Phal I received labeled ‘purple Phal’ ends up looking like yours!! Because wow that’s a gorgeous orchid 😍😍😍 I really like this style of video because it gives me an idea of where I’m sitting with my seedlings ☺️ thank you soo much ND!!! Have an awesome weekend 🌺🪴
@@NicoleDeannaIt will be 3 years old soon. Since I finally figured out what it likes, I hope to get a bloom soon. At first I didn't see a bulb. Seeing one in the new growth from the summer and I see more new growth.
Thanks for sharing your Amazon experience with all the details. What is the name of the Dends phals that is yellow with pink lips the second orchid you display? Thanks again stay safe and happy growing.
Hi Nicole. One I had bad luck with was a vendor on Etsy. One orchid I bought I never got, then the second one I bought I was sent fresh out of a flask, it did not survive. So I won’t do it again. Thanks for sharing the video. 🥰👏🎃🍁
How long normally seedlings will have flowers? I got mine from Amzn for over a year but they are still tiny, not growing start to die now. Don’t know what to do to see it growing
I'm sorry to hear they are dying, seedlings can be tough. For me cattleya seedlings if they have 5-6 small growths take about 3 years to bloom. If they are really tiny they can take more time.
I was not really pleased with Angel’s Orchids off of Amazon. So far I’ve lost three out of the six. I received seedlings. The phal died. And a couple of more. I personally would not re-order from them.
Thanks for sharing! I find that seedlings can be so tricky! Oncidiums generally do well, but cattleya and Dendrobium small seedlings can be a very hit or miss. I hope the rest of your orchids thrived ♥️
So awesome! I didn't know that Amazon sold orchids! You got some good ones too!!
Thank you! I got lucky with those oncidiums!!
Hi Nicole! Love the updates!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful cattleya with me!! I can't wait to see it bloom! ❤🥰😘
😘♥️🤗

Thanks for watching Rhea ♥️

300 orchids later 😂 I know that story very well. It all starts with just a few more lol. Thank you for watching ♥️

I'm glad it was helpful and I also hope your phal is as special as that one ♥️♥️♥️
The golden brown den. is probably hybridised with our Australian Dendrobium discolor which gives it that curly leaf form. Beautiful!
It's gorgeous and I LOVE the fragrance!! A pleasant surprise!
Very interesting! I bought a tiny one on a tiny mount buy after a few months it was gone. It’s good to know that you were successful with some.
Seedlings can always be so hit or miss! Many times if you take care of them well it's not you but the plant vigor. Sad to see them decline.
I purchased an Uptown Girl from a grower on Etsy last year. It came as a seedling, dry root. It's doing well. No blooms yet .
It's such a beautiful one!

I just got 2 new babies thru Delivery..Wish me lots of luck...
You got this!
I got 6 seedlings from angel orchid. I got mine May of this year. They are still growing. Cattleyas Dendrobium Phalaenopsis..
I hope they do well for you! Thanks for watching :)

That one is Den. May Neil 'Uraiwon' Thanks for watching ♥️
Thank you so much.

Straight out of a flask is hard, and seedlings are a crap shoot! Thank you for watching ♥️
I love cattleya. I never got mine flowers I get I keep buying seedlings since it is cheaper😂 do you know if cattleya re bloom on same cane?
They only bloom on new growths. The flowers take time but you can do it!
Hi. I guess 2 years ago Amazon was everyone's go to for everything. Buying sight unseen is always a surprise but WORMS ??!!? 😰
I am still horrified to this day 😂 I don't think they were even worms they had multiple legs it was terrible lol

@@NicoleDeanna thank you. Do you know if they flower again on the same cane or flower only on new cane?
@@slong1688 they flower only on new canes

Oops. I meant, bare root.
Bugs sounds like mealy bug
👍😊💜🌸
13:00 Maybe they had a disease like fasarium?
It's definitely possible!
The only orchids I ever ordered off of Amazon were from Bloomify, I'm pretty sure they both died.
It's always a gamble!
If someone will succeed on Amazon random plants is you, definitely!?!
😘♥️🤗 ily my friend 😘
