When I was a kid, the car I wanted bad was a 1967 Camaro. The apartment complex we lived in back in '67 someone had a '67 Camaro and I spent lots of time checking it out. It would be about 10 years until I finally got one.
As for the Batmobile, I did have the one Corgi made back then. That's as close as I got, until now. I'm expecting my first two issues from Fanhome any day now.
I built the Eaglemoss BTTF Delorean before they went belly up and Fanhome took over. Amazing quality and such a fun build over time. I look forward to building this one as well with the Knight Rider KITT car. Love bringing the nostalgia of my childhood back to life. Thanks Doug!!
I can't wait to finish my Delorean!
This is really cool! I had this same car that ran on batteries back in the late 60’s I believe. My mom purchased from Sears and Roebuck. Loved it! Thanks for sharing CT!👍
That's awesome!
Can't wait to see the finished project.
Likewise!
I'm already at second delivery of my batmobile package
Nice!
I highly recommend the die-cast model from Jada.
It's a beautiful looking car and you get some die-cast Batman and Robin figures too.
I'll have to check that one out.
What kind of price are these pls 🤔🤔
@@stevemahoney5209 It's about $70 from amazon at the moment.
@@stevemahoney5209All told it will come out to $1,800 over the course of a year or so. The first few packages are $13.95, then it jumps up to $15.95...and there are binders for the magazines/instruction books, first one is free then $8.95. They hold 20 magazines. Not necessary but still fun to have...
This is before my time, so the only thing I know about that Batman is his dance the Batusi 😂
lol
Total cost start to finish on the model is over 2 grand on the BTTF DeLorean. Not including some of the extras they try and throw your way: light kit, display case, ect.
That’s spread out over several months though. It’s not like you pay it all at once. High end toys are pricey, just look at things like HotToys and Sideshow Collectibles
@cooltoy oh for sure, build quilty is amazing, just thought people should know pricing, and what they are getting themselves into over about a 3 year period. I am still on the fence if I want to take the plunge yet. But great video, and looking forward to seeing some progress videos.
@@timothybark5357how long is the build time on this?
I heard some people dont get all the piece sets mailed for their models during the builds. I want to get the robocop subscription. But its pretty pricey for me and I wish I could get everything at once to build.
Another awesome kit!..How far have you made it on your other builds?
I'm the farthest on the Falcon and Robocop right now, somewhere around kit #16 for those. The others I'm still early on.
@cooltoy would love to see an update on the progress..I am currently working on are ROKR 3D Pinball machine wooden puzzle..it is pretty neat as well..with working pop bumpers, leds, and sound
How long does this take to complete please??
Hi Doug 😊😊 This looks AWESOME 🤩🤩
What's the length of the total build please 🤔 Trying to figure out if it will fit in my cabinet 😃😃
28" inches long
@@cooltoy It's Huge... 😮😮
We're gonna need a Bigger Cabinet 🤣🤣🤣
Is it once a month delivery subscription 🤔🤔
Cheers Doug 😁😁👍👍
Yes
MIC DROP❤🏁🌈
gee willikers batman!
@@cooltoy ❤️🏁
Do us a favor and save all the packaging. I bet you haven't got space in your home for it by the end of the project. It's an environmental nightmare!
