The shot of Batman just hop-skotching over bullets is S Tier Corridor
that one got me good
Masterpiece! I wish all Batmen dodge bullets like this.
I cracked the hell up at that part
Best corridor since Oldboy
Since Equilibrium
The car landing scene was just so good, the bat mobile didn't even look like it was just a 3d model
Yeah true....the car was the only acception
There's a little bit of jankiness in some of the shots, but the compositing is so well done, it looks more like a miniature than CGI. I think that's down to the 3D model and materials not being detailed enough.
@@envyjen6915 *exception :D
I mean, are you blind or just a sycophant?
Its because its not 3d model
The most impressive part of all of this is probably making the 1960s Batmobile look badass without changing a single thing.
The 60's Batmobile was always badass! Easy job! Hahaha!
It was always badass
Absolutely! It felt this was the one in the Robert Pattinson movie
I don't know, it was good, but the score was the best part.
Just shows what a magnificent Timeless design it was
There is a much older B&W Batman serial film that aired in theaters in the 30’s & 40’s. He had floppy ears and carried a gun. It was pretty crazy.
And the bad guy in that one was Japanese, so they worked in a lot of racial slurs. I mean a lot. Think your drunk uncle at Thanksgiving, twice a week at the theater.
I thought I was the only one here who watched that! My family found a DVD of it in an op-shop recently.
Thanks for saying it for me. Though, to be fair, those Batman films were in B&W, so it would be even harder to insert him into the new film.
I only knew about them because of Rifftrax
There were two different Batman serials, both in the 1940s. The first Batman was played by Lewis Wilson and the second Batman was played by Robert Lowery. Neither Batman used a gun, that was the Captain America in the 1940s.
Adam West wasn’t lame. He was a campy legend. Rest in peace, Adam.
TRUTH! The thing about the TV Batman is that it was actually FOR ADULTS! Folks who had a sense of humor and appreciated satire. The movie incarnations may be closer to the comic book original, but it is FOR CHILDREN!

DON'T ANY OF YOU DARE SPEAK HIS NAME
Physically, Adam West was the best Bruce Wayne. Tall and muscular, elegant, refined. It was only when he put on that ridiculous suit that everything switched into a joke.
Obviously the finished product was mind blowing, particularly the shot of the batmobile landing... but I am very embarrassed that I didn't realize DC stood for Detective Comics.
DC Comics - Detective Comics Comics. Thankfully they don't use the full name
That's the reason why if you watch Cinema Sins videos on anything DC related, they always ding "DC Comics". Not as a dig against DC, but because of the redundancy of them effectively saying "Detective Comics Comics". It's like saying "ATM Machine", being automatic teller machine machine.

You should also know that Adam West Batman is *not* the *oldest* live-action Batman. You might want to fact check that, bruh.
I don’t think anyone knew that... at least that’s what my dumb isolated self thinks
“I don’t know much about Batman I just have very strong opinions”
You’ve summed up like half the critics lol
And sadly, some WB film executives!
And most of the Batman fan base if we’re being honest
That’s the summary of alot of Batman fans
All you need to know is with prep time Batman could defeat any other character in existence.
Half is an underestimation, lol 😂
Okay, I just wanted to say that I agree with your comment at 1:35, to an extent. The thing is, Adam didn't want to play a dark, gritty Batman, and said so later in life before he died. He knew of the Tim Burton and Christopher Nolan versions of Batman, and he said they were wrong. He went to his grave feeling that his Batman was the best.
Adam West was our “Bright Knight”
And I think what they fail to recognize is that, if there's any justice in the world, audiences 50 years from now will look back at these newer iterations and wonder, "what was with all that pathetic, moody crap?"
@@Hexon66I disagree. Batman was never a happy, shiny story. It was about a little boy who watched his parents shot, and never got over it.
I saw an interesting interview with several of the original cast, around the time the new movie was coming out, and they had a variety of viewpoints on it.. one, I forget which, was under the impression the comics had always been goofy lighthearted fare, and another (I wanna say Gorshwin) was aware they had a lot heavier themes in the 40s. But in general they were confused old people wondering why we needed a new thing that was so different, and that's a mood I can sympathize with.
Still, it's much worse being a 90s kid, seeing kiddification overturned, seeing deep serious stories presented, and then.... janet jackson flashes a pasty and it all reverts to cheap garbage, and never comes back.
@@Hexon66 I'd think most people now and in the future will agree that a man wearing tights and underwear hanging around a young teen with no pants on and giggling is something better left in the past. No hate to people like you who are into that stuff but its just not what Batman was ever supposed to be.
The bright/cartoony "pow" and "splat" followed by Gordons face actually getting sprayed with blood was amazing lmao
As a child the Adam West batman was the best thing ever. It was before my time, but was still on repeat on TV when i was growing up..
Yeah same. My family used to watch the reruns every weekend when I was a young kid until they kept pushing the air time later and later in the night and eventually it was past my bedtime
I was born in 2002 but somehow ended up with a dvd of the first Batman movie, that was probably my most repeatedly watched non-Star Wars movie in elementary school
This. And we all genuinely were sitting on the edge of the seat because batman and Robin couldn't POSSIBLY get out of THIS trap.. Every other week..
Spoiler alert : they could and they did. Every time.
Hater ass children. Adam west Batman was great. These guys are lame as hell.
As cheesy as it is, it definitely has a charm to it's slapstick humor. Lame characters like King tut and the bookworm, all the henchmen dressed in unison. Definitely the witty puns is what made it.

When I was a teenager in the 90s I did the whole 90s teenager "everything's gotta be grimdark, man" thing and looked down on the Adam West Batman series for a hot minute, but that did not last long. I get people preferring more serious takes on Batman, but the 60s Batman is still a lot of undeniable fun. He's certainly not lame, even if a little dated now.

I remember in 89(I think) when the Burton Batman came out. I was in a comic book store and someone was saying they wish they could erase the West Batman for being too camp. I was like the "Joker does a dance routine in the new movie."
Adam West was blessed with a Velvet Voice. His voice is the sound every Batman that came after him tried to emulate. I'm so glad that Family Guy gave him a reoccurring role.
What Batman tried to emulate West’s voice? Seems to me most of the Batmen after West went with the rougher less velvety smooth voice

@@ape5490 yup, they are great. they did a great job recreating and honoring the TV show and giving us more Adam West's Batman.
@@SceneComparisons You know, those movies would've made for awesome material of Adam West Batman being hardcore, with the dialogue. Besides, his voice is worthy of the Batman character.
The camp isn't Adam's prison, its where he thrives. This is his domain, and by god that comedic timing is on damn point.
he invented it. shame theses guys couldn't get their facts straight.
"You merely adopted the camp. I was born I it. Molded by it."
batman was always camp 😭
It was intentionally supposed to be funny, almost mocking what comics had become in the 1960s. And yet people constantly rant about how they don't understand why it's "so weird" and "not like batman." Makes me sad bro. West slaps
Agree 💯 while I think the corridor crew knew what they were doing and it looks good the campy element cannot be extinguished. Can't agree that batman was woke to the degree they're making out. Maybe some kids loved the dark elements but it was more kid friendly and accessible to not have the dark side therefore more marketable and profitable.
I love the adam west burt ward series and out of all the batmans is imo the best. I get others will disagree and thats fine, they're just misguided.
Watching the old batmobile CRUSHING it, truly is the winning moment. What a gem you guys made.
I love Adam West's Batman and it wasn't corny it was hilarious and fun.. on purpose. Adam West's self aware, dry humor in those tights was the greatest thing ever.
i mean it was corny, but that can be very enjoyable
Agreed! Not "corny"! Meta!
Nah bro it WAS corny
At least his interpretation delivered on something.
@John Woodward in order to be corny you need to be being sincere, which west's Batman never was.
The show went off the air about 50 years ago and people still remember it fondly. It came from a time when people could laugh and enjoy the lighthearted fun of a character like that Batman and beyond that is was designed for the whole family to enjoy, that's why it was geared for children yet had subtle overtones at times for adults.
True. Actually so much, that people have mostly forgotten Lewis Wilson was the first to play Batman. But there was a war going on, so we cant blame people for not doing a simple google search.
@@brostenen I watched the Lewis Wilson Batman serial, it felt too much like a prototype for my tastes. They simply just didn't have enough elements I'm used to at the time.
Speaking as someone who didn't grow up then, I'm a little shocked that batman used to be so comical. My personal favorite is the Christian Bale version, but I can see the appeal of the old one.
Adam West LIVES and RULES!
It was still in reruns until the early 90s

I actually liked old Batman with Adam West. My favourite scene is when a mailman approaches the chief of police and Batman- who's full on dressed as the Batman- and asks "Which one of you is Batman?" 🤣
I return to that scene so often.
My 2nd favorite Batman 🤘
Adam West is The GOAT of Batman. I know he was goofy as shit. But it was spot on with the early comics. Once the dude said the Lamest Batman. I yelled Fück You! at my TV so loud. And it’s currently midnight 😂🤣
If adam west played the curremt batman 🤤🤤
@@OrangeMan652 The silver age was not the earliest comics. In terms of character depiction, they're the middle child.
Earliest (golden age) a darker, more mysterious Batman, who was more of a vigilante and occasionally used lethal force against his enemies.
Middle (silver age) more of a "science detective," often dealing with extraterrestrial and supernatural threats, and incorporating more science fiction elements into the stories.
Late (modern age) a grittier, more psychologically complex Batman, as well as darker and more mature storylines
Underrated music edit. I can't believe how seamless the merging of the theme songs was. The addition of the "Na na na na na na" strings and that final "Batman!" nailed what was missing from Michael Giacchino's original composition .
Honestly had the score included that, it may have actually short circuited the time circuit and set us back to the real 2022.
That was the one thing I really pulled out and thought amazing.
Awesome job guys
The music they made for this was amazing. I've come back to this video several times to watch the awesome trailer but to also listen to the music.
It's just kind of depressing we see the comic authority and laugh at the absurdity of their censorship and moral nonsense..but yet over the decades that crap never left, satanic panic around D&D in the 80s, video games, comics nowadays, weird religious whackos moral panic always tries to just push their warped puritan values on the rest of sane society hahaha
My favourite bit is how the iconic Adam West 'BAM' and 'POW' were turned into legitimately awesome floating neon effects
🍷👍 It wouldn't be a legit Adam west Batman without the POW'S, BAM and SPLATS! 😆

The Neon mixed with all the effects, it just looks so good.
I can honestly picture that coming, now. And… I actually hope it does. Only question is… who would be well casted as an Adam West Batman?
The closest would be sin city
It would have been so cool if DC had done the justice league as different decades. Do a 50’s Superman, a 60’s Batman, a 70’s Wonderwoman, etc. and just set the whole justice league in the past. Then you could focus on new characters set in the modern day and have an aging Batman, make Supes and Wonderwoman’s longevity part of it so Batman’s getting old and you can even do Batman Beyond and stuff.
Rest In Peace, Adam West. He was one of the biggest Batman fanboys, he was a wonderful and magnanimous celebrity at conventions. Just a wonderful guy, who loved his role, and his place in bat history.

He basically saved Batman. For all that people make fun of the 60s show now, it made Batman a hit at a time when it really wasn't.

Honestly the true sad part is Bill Finger, the creator of Batmans suit, car, alter ego, joker, the aesthetics..died penniless, with zero credit, while Bob Kane stole all the rights, money and credit and didn't do jack shit haha..only 70 years later near death he felt bad and admitted it, and DC only credited Finger a few years ago, almost a century later
The scene of Batman dancing around dodging and superman-ing bullets… legit killed me instantly. Both comically and in the most bad ass way possible.

The grittiness of new Batman, the campiness of old Batman. A winning hand.
Honestly Adam west could actually be considered the most important Batman oddly enough, because even through all the corny stuff he was given and how corny that show was, surprisingly it worked, and worked very well for what it was. It’s become a classic, imagine if it didn’t work, would comic films still be the same as they are today, maybe but maybe not.
hey, a lot of the corny was Adam himself, he was a very bright person and added so much dialogue to the show himself
Without Adam West, Batman isn't *BATMAN*. It was the 1960s phenomenon that made him the cultural figure he is. Otherwise, he would still be a distant second banana to Superman.
@@rhindlethered The success of the Adam West Batman show is the only thing that stopped DC from canceling Batman comics entirely. They had been selling very poorly beforehand.
It isn't oddly enough, he is the first to do it well, the first to groundbreak, corny but the best... the Batman's after? And movies /shows after? Can't compare them. I'm sorry
If it wasn’t for Adam west there is a good chance Batman would have died
This is beautiful. The 'bam biff pow' flares done in the style of neon signs was particularly brilliant, and the music was so perfect.
I agree was so dope!!
That bit reminded me of the episode of the (Patrick McNee) *_Avengers_* which featured a villain obsessed with a Batman-like comic book, and a fight scene which featured paintings clearly inspired by Roy Lichtenstein's giant comic strip panels, so that people were getting clobbered by paintings which bore huge bright , , &c.

As a car guy and a Batmobile fan, it was so cool to see the original Batmobile look so gritty, and tough! You guys did a great job!
For us guys born in the 60's Adam West WAS Batman.
I loved Batman as a kid. A scruffy little English child such as I was, back in the '70s, had never seen anything like it before. Because of this Adam West was huge here in Britain, making regular appearances on kid's TV. It's good to see Adam West get a little bit of respect because he did more to spread word of Batman than anyone else before him.
Oh, don't you worry. Every true Batman fan has a place in their heart for Adam West.
As a Batman fan myself, I've always _loved_ the psychologically dark aspects of the franchise. But, I will always love Adam West's Batman, too. That was a part of my childhood, too, and even then I realized this was a goofier representation than Hollywood's Batman, but I loved it! And still do to this day. Adam West was perfect as Batman in the 60s. His version is actually a really good reflection of what the comic books actually looked like in the 60's (even the villains in the TV series reflect very well how the villains were in the comics at that time).
And West was not a small tiny guy, he was 187 cm (6ft 1 ½), so after Ben Affleck (193 cm), he is the tallest actor to ever portray Batman). He's just the only Batman whose suit did not have fake muscles.

Adam West's portrayal of Batman in the 1960's is certainly a classic - but it's not the "oldest" version of the character set to film. There was a low budget serial made in the 1940s or early 1950s.

This is honestly a 10 out of 10. Everyone (who's a Batman fan) should see this. You perfectly captured the campyness of the 1960's Batman.

The bomb scene in the 60s Batman movie is hysterical. It’s an underrated movie.
I watched it a lot around 2016-18, loved it. Probably cringier than I remember but I had a good time.
@@JRS06 the "cringe" generation is cringe. the believe to only have that narrow path in which you arent "cringe" is very weak. Its like living in Hell and Hell is that 3 Years before you finally were accepted as an equal on the school yard, perpetuated.
@@JRS06 What do people say is wrong with the movie. It’s a comedy, so it’s supposed to be funny and good.
Me and my son were howling laughing, rolling on the carpet at those parts.
Best scene ever!!!
I love this project but the 1966 Batman was epic. As a kid I was thrilled, as an adult it brought me so much laughter and a touch of nostalgia. Funny story: I met Adam West and Burt Ward at an Autorama where the original Batmobile was on display. I was about 9. I was shocked at how hairy Burt Ward's arms were. My dad explained that he shaved them for the show to look younger. My innocence was shattered 😂.
Facts! when you are small, Adam west is just as much Batman as all the others!
Kyle thats fucking amazing lololol.
I met Adam West once, he was an amazingly wonderful human being. He loved being Batman. He loved the fans, and he’d stay and sign autographs for hours!
That's just kinky 🙂
GM Motorama?
Adam West was a comedic genius. He loved his take on Batman. He thought it was hilarious in the backdrop of what was happening in the world. The crazier and kookier the better.
All that being said, he would have absolutely nailed a more true to Canon, dark and gritty batman. Especially if you look at some of his other work.
We kinda got that when he played the Gray Ghost in the the 90’s Batman Animated Series
18:27 I honestly think that it was more terrifying to add a goofy/comedy character to a serious movie because of his unserious expressions, kinda like Pennywise
I feel like a lot of people are missing the fact that the crew aren’t actually bashing Adam West’s Batman at the opening of this video. At least to me, they’re just using that premise as a narrative excuse for making this video.
Yeah but it comes off like that. It looks like a bunch of dudes who don't know what they're talking about trying to improve something that's great. The finished product is excellent but the opening leaves a sour taste, as it doesn't feel like it's coming from a place of love.
@@dustinakadustin thank you
@Author B.L. Alley a depressing but kinda accurate assessment 😂
This is just an advertising channel, they wouldn’t bash anything seriously
@@RHKO yeah just have to check out their no way home VFX artists react to see that.
Congrats my mom heard about this on NPR the other day (she grew up watching Adam West batman) and called to ask me about you guys. My mother thinks you guys did Adam West justice and likes you guys, now you have really made it to the big leagues!
Wow, that's so good
I wanna see them put Robert Pattinson's batman into the Adam Wests version of the Batman universe! xD
Also, the Car Chase was amazing
Freaking amazing. Rest in peace Adam West!
Lol. I can't imagine a brooding 60s Batman.
@@Ellie-i7q-t5w Just like I can't imagine a goofy 60's Batman working in Matt Reeves Batman Universe.
@Edge Emo Gamer R nah Pattinson was great. All the actors who have played Batman have been really good, except George Clooney
Jordan did a fantastic job on the Pudget System spot. Ha! I was so enthralled in his performance I watched it all the way through (no skip).
Finally, Adam West as the Batman he was always meant to be. The only thing that this is missing is Julie Newmar as Catwoman. She really deserves to be in this trailer. Other than that, this is really good.
I would have gone with Eartha Kitt, myself
Adam West's Batman 100% works. It's can be cornball and goofy like West or dark and gritty like Pattinson. Both extremes work in their own way.
Adam West's Batman is Camp with a capital C, he knew what he was doing and it is glorious.
@@Channel5thirds yea and people act like characters stay the same after being around for decades
It's not that no in-between works, but trying to combine tones is a challenge not always met.
I'd say "The Brave and the Bold", which was mostly silly, had some serious moments that really worked, and inversely, Batman: The Animated Series, which was mostly serious, had some silly episodes that really worked.
"Gotham" is a curious case of...the writing is so bad it's good, but everything else from casting to production design is unironically excellent. I'd say that show, in all its strange combination of competence and incompetence, manages to make a tone that combines the silly and the serious work really well, even in spite of writing that...kind of doesn't.
I really don't think it has to be one or the other, but combining them in a way that works is not necessarily easy.
@@Swenglish true
Exactly
A cartoony mix with a modern movie would actually be interesting and I'd watch it. The new movies are so repetitive and so uninspired.
Great work!
What new movies are you talking about though? Cause that's not the case with The Batman 2022.
i recommend everything everywhere all at once
Lol
A cartoony mix with a modern film was done with Natural Born Killers by Oliver Stone. A great film worth seeing if you haven't already
@@ethankleinman1067 Yeah, I was gonna say, the 2022 Batman film was INCREDIBLE. Honestly, it's better than any other film I've seen from the past few years.
The real repetitive movies are all the generic movies Marvel is pumping out, which seem more for the cool VFX-heavy action scenes rather than the story.
The edited trailer, in my opinion, feels lie a really good UA-cam Poop.
Adam West was actually a big dude, second only to Afleck in terms of the Batman actors. He would look super intimidating in a modern updated suit because of his good physical condition
Ben Snowflake looks like that goofy dude in the frat who challenges someone to a fight and gets his @ss kicked.
Adam West wasn't the first batman.
Lewis Wilson (‘Batman,’ 1943)
Lewis Wilson was the first actor to star as Batman in the 1943, 15-chapter serial Batman. Instead of battling familiar baddies from the comics, Wilson's Batman fought a villainous Japanese spy (J. Carrol Naish), who was attempting to turn the U.S. population into zombies.
👍
I actually was scrolling through to see if anyone else had picked up on this. THANK YOU!
Robert Lowery played the second Batman in the "Batman and Robin" movie serial back in 1949. So, Adam West was actually the third live action Batman.
Corridor Crew - We need a zombie fighting Batman short!!!!! 🙂
Judging by US politics I'd say that he succeeded.
The music sounds like could have been the actual new movie's soundtrack with the original Batman theme, it would've been so hype if the new movie actually had done that
Like how Tom Hollands Spidermans theme had the 60's Spiderman theme
Instead of the 60s show the movie's soundtrack took some inspiration from BTAS. So that's a cool homage. Plus there are a ton of easter eggs to the 60s show in the film cuz the director was a huge fan of it.
AW is the best! As a kid I couldn’t wait to get home from school to watch this awesome show! As an adult a friend recommended going back and watching again, and I realised how hilarious this show was! Cast and crew must have been taking something! Latest Batman is brilliant but the tv show will always hold a special place in my ❤
Great vid Crew!
Now I wanna see the Newest Batman in the Oldest Batman
Me too
So the 1943 film serial right.
Loved it. Curious why you didn't swap Catwoman out? The show had 3 to choose from.
And Gordon.
I asked myself the same thing
As every vfx studio would say: we ran out of time
too much work and maybe not proper scenes
The show even had the OG black cat woman, Miss Earth Kitt herself!
How can Adam West be the lamest Batman when George Clooney Batman exists?
yeah, we don't even talk about that one here
Exactly what I said out loud. These corridor kids are uncultured swine.
After seeing the film I was comparing performances and just skipped over that one, there’s no performance just a sad George Clooney wishing he said no to that godforsaken film.
EXACTLY! For Adam West dances, Clooney does not.
You spelled Val Kilmer wrong
1:33 The thing is that at the time when Adam West was playing the character we didn't had him as a Dark Knight we had him as this Goofy Silver age Family friendly guy sometimes serious way more goofy and funny and we didn't even had origin for him yet created so it is pretty comics accurate to be fair...
Comic book accurate for some versions of the Silver Age comics of its time, yes, but the serials of the 40s portrayed a more serious version because of its Golden Age comics counterpart. "Batman" from 1943 and "Batman and Robin" from 1949 were played straight without the tongue in cheek comedy of "Batman" from 1966.
I heard a video essay once that compared the different ages of the comic books with the different portrayals on film, and did an excellent job of showing the parallels of each type of portrayal with the comic book eras
Wow, that batcopter is absolutely amazing. I wish more movies were campy like this, the cinematic universes miss the trees for the forest sometimes.
well they have to do what will sell. you want Camp you got lego batman which is one of the best tellings ever and a few animated movies as wel
The only deliberately camp movie I have seen in a while is Iron Sky 2.
-"So batman was born in the darkness?"
-"Molded by it some say"
i love Dean xD
19:35 How is no one talking about how amazing this modernized 60's theme is!
3:49 George clooney: HOLD MY BEER 🍺
My favorite part about this whole thing is the kick ass sound track. It sounded like it belonged in a batman movie. It gave me goosebumps hearing the original theme coming through but in a modern cinematic tone.
If you want some other stuff from Casey Edwards, check out Devil Trigger and Bury the Light from Devil May Cry 5. He composed for that game and it has some BANGERS
Please make the music from this trailer available by itself!!!
100%
I'm so happy that Adam West's portrayal of Batman is finally getting the recognition it deserves. I've watched through most of the 60s series, and it actually does have that grit factor in some episodes. literally the first episode of the series the villain's hench-girl gets killed in the Batcave by falling into a power generator. and even in the goofier episodes, Adam West, and certainly even the amazing actors that played opposite him as the villains, all play it with a level of commitment I don't think any other incarnation of Batman or his foes has. I have always maintained that Adam West was the best Batman, and videos like this bolster my courage in giving that answer.
didn't mean for this comment to turn into a paragraph, but thanks guys for shining light on one of the best comic book adaptations ever made (in my humble opinion).
It deserves nothing but ridicule lmfao
Remember Victor Buono as King Tut? I think I liked him the best.
Adam West and Kevin Conray is watching over all of us from Heaven...RIP LEGENDS!
I swear, Batman as a character will live through so many legendary iterations.
For the character to be almost 100 years old is insane.
R.I.P Adam west 1928-2017
Other batmans come and go like the seasons, but Adam West will always be the real batman to me.
he aint the oldest
@@last7509 That doesn’t matter
He’s my favorite Batman.
'60's Batman is the best Batman hands down in my opinion. The show was made campy on purpose and Adam West was in on it. It's innocent fun. Fun fact: The colours were over saturated because of the recent invention of the colour TV and they wanted to take advantage of that.
I love the Adam West Batman.
The over use of new technology always happens, in music production when Stereo came in, music had a lot of hard left and right pans, over use of synthesizers in the late 70's and 80's is iconic.
what was the spinning shot originally

Adam West was not the original live action Batman. The first actor to play Batman was Lewis Wilson (1943) and the second was Robert Lowery (1949). Adam West was the third live action Batman.
`18:40 That was my favourite moment of all, Batman shocks the bad guy in the neck and goes "lalalalala" while the bad guy is screaming. Funny as hell.
I actually always wondered how the original goofy theme could sound as a modern orchestral version the way they do with jingles like with Spider-Man. And I spent many times trying hard to picture it without it being silly. And this is the first time it was actually achieved. And I think combining it with The Batman’s theme was a nice touch.
It’s the same thing I think about the Original Superman theme. I wasn’t fond of it when it was used in Superman Returns, it took me out of the movie too many times and thought I was watching the Christopher Reeves movies. I’m glad they threw that theme out the window and got Hans Zimmer in to create the masterpiece theme for Man Of Steel.
19:02 “And how come Batman doesn’t dance anymore?”
As I immediately say in my head, “Remember the Bat-tussi?”
Love the Adam West x Simpson quote from the classic Mr. Plow episode.
"Back away slowly... Don't make eye contact"
I know a lot of people here say "less talking" but I really liked the bits and that, you guys have a synergy I can only wish to have in my next workplace.
for real, it's like if there's more than a minute of dialogue, people are just like "GUHH TOO MUCH TALKINGGG GET TO THE VIDEO ALREADY!!"
Funnily enough, I've been binging the '66 Batman the past few weeks, and let me just say, Adam West would be proud. Ya done good, boys. Ya done good.
Feel like they've kind of simplified the theme of the Batman. The theme of darkness and being an icon of fear becomes more a theme of how Batman has to be better than that, and be a icon of hope for his city. Great film
They should let him use a gun again 😂
I cannot and will not stand for this batman 66’ slander. Waisted Adam West?! Utilized him masterfully

But the guy on the left falls, even though the sphere didn't hit him.

Maybe give him a confused reaction, as if to say "I wonder why I wasn't killed, too?"
That would be funny.
