Great information! I've been driving around without the left turn signal canceling for years and stumbled upon this video one day

I had been messing the all day with the order of reinstallation of all those parts with no satisfactory result (1960 Impala). Watched your vid and... voilà ! Everything work fine and, by the way, now, I know why ! Thank a lot !

Is there a different size ring. I bought the kit for my 1965 Chevy impala oer steering wheel. And the ring is just a bit too big

What year column is this? I notice the horn cam (where the spring/contact pin inserts into the wheel)is shorter. I'm using a aftermarket '57 steering wheel.

It is either our 55 or 57 Chevy Tri-Five tilt column with shift.

Why is there such a long wait (8 weeks) for an Ididit adapter for a 55 Chevy? Can't be that hard to make assuming you have at least one CNC machine.

It would be great if you referenced which kit this was so we can order it. I have this exact steering wheel and an Ididit column and have had a heck of a time getting it to work. I see that I need this kit but have a hard time telling which one it is on Summit or Jegs.

will this kit work for a 66 C10 steering wheel?

I would try the wheel without the trim ring and see how it fits first. At the very least you'll need to drill a hole in the hub of your wheel clocked at or very near 10:30 and use the horn plunger. We can accommodate the parts even if you don't need the trim ring.

@@ididitinc Do you have a kit that allows a classic splined horn to be attached to a 6 hole universal wheel mount? I want to be able to get my wheel on and off.

When I place the nut on (7/8 socket) after installing everything (and ensuring horn ring play), then the nut goes on - I get no play. What am I dong wrong?

Instead of saying in every video that this column is a direct fit, you should say up front that this column is bigger in diameter then the factory one and you will need a horn kit for a extra $100
