Laura, You always make me smile. I drove for a trucking company in Palmyra, MO; and when I delivered to Iams I usually stopped at this McDonald's. I'm also a retired farmer; and I really look forward to your videos.
You're just so fun to watch. Was having a bad morning, watched a couple of your videos, now i'm back to my happy self. You two were made for each other. Live, laugh, love.
That's crazy! Driving a tractor on back roads into town seems inconvenient and slow... yet I find it completely awesome that you two were able to do that! Looks like so much fun! Be well and have a great semester!
I think you would be surprised how many people would like to know about the tractor controls and what they do. I imagine a lot of people watch your channel who don't know what farming is like, but watch for the enjoyment. My family comes from grass seed farming (rye grass, bent grass, etc) so it's cool to see equipment set up differently.
When you take your super fine gf out to breakfast, to McDonald’s, in a tractor, and she smiles the entire time? Shit, sign me up! I’m so happy that your life goes on seemingly unaffected by how terrible 2020 has been for so many. I really hope and pray that you make it to at LEAST 100K followers because you totally deserve it. Keep smiling. You make me day when you do.
Lol. I drive my old John Deere A to the country store for lunch. I pass by the elementary school and I see the boys looking out the windows. No radial tires though. It rides like a brick for the first two miles. Love this gal and her smile.

This is so good that I had to create a new playlist called 'The New Earth'! In fairness, where else can you see two young people smililng all the time, doing their normal work, then meeting for lunch and going to get something to eat from a McDonald's drive-trough in a tractor! and later returning to their work, still smiling and happy to live their life! No drama, no nonsense! I love you guys!!!! This is a new Earth, for sure, and I'm happy to be part if it!
So no kidding I’m a McDonald’s GM. This is not the strangest thing I’ve seen in a mcds drive thru. I had a kangaroo come thru as a passenger one day. But kudos!
The tractor drive through seems perfectly fine to me. You haven't lived until you've seen a cowboy ride his horse through a bank drive through, then cross over to the Mc Donalds drive through. (Small Town Texas life). Happens here more often than you'd think. And Laura - good luck at school. Don't forget...we love you too! Don't forget to give Grant and your dad a hug for us!
Grant at 2:00 😂😂 I did that driving over some big ruts that didn't look too big and then smacked my head off the ceiling a couple times lol. Everyone who has driven an older tractor has to have a story like that
3:03 Grant with the skills. Full throttle and manhandling that machine like he's about to encounter resistance while traversing the wasteland. Only thing missing was the 'Doof Warrior' swinging around on bungees while shredding his guitar and this scene would have looked like it was straight out of "Mad Max: Fury Road". Lol!
WOW - 26+ mph. our tractors on the farm varied from 10-16 mph in roadgear. Except for the 1940's Farmall which I am not sure how fast it would go but probably close to 20 maybe more. We were all afraid to open the throttle all the way on the Texas dirt roads - it had the 2 small front wheels under the radiator up front and of course no power steering. We always called the "shredder" a "bushhog".
Awesome visit to McD’s Laura! I am a new viewer I sure am intrigued at the good old country theme of your videos. Can’t beat a good country life. Congratulations on your engagement hope you both have a great life together!

I just stumbled across you and your channel in this video. I could hardly believe what I was seeing. A young beautiful woman in blue jeans and a pair of pliers on her hip with incredible enthusiasm for working on a farm. You make me wish I was young again so I could have a chance to work along side of you. But alas I am old enough to be your father's much older brother. Your enthusiasm brightens my heart. But I want to give you a bit of caution. You have long beautiful brown hair but I would GREATLY suggest that when you're working around powered farm equipment that you wear it up in a bun of some type. When I was young I had a neighbor woman with long black hair get her hair caught up in a PTO shaft. She managed to not get pulled in to the equipment but at the expense of getting half of her scalp yanked off her head. They got her to the hospital and sewed it back on so she still had a head of hair but still, the experience could not have been very pleasant! Take extreme care when you work around power equipment! If your jeans fit loose around you ankles, wrap tape around them to hold them against your boots. Be CAUTIOUS and SAFE around powered equipment!! P.S. I was born in Creston Iowa, about 200 miles east of you on U.S. Hwy 34.
