Laura,
I spent much of my young adult life in agriculture. You and your family, in my opinion, represent what is best in America. I get furious when know-nothings disparage farmers and ranchers. You show every day the immense amount of know-how, common sense, and hard work it takes to be successful in agriculture. Your videos remind us what it takes to feed a nation (and a goodly chunk of the world). As for you, Laura, you are a beautiful young lady--articulate, educated, intelligent, kind, caring, hard-working, and sensible. Those are qualities that are sadly lacking in much of modern America, especially in many of our young people. You should be very proud of who you are and I'm certain that your parents are very proud of you. You should never worry about whether or not you will be successful in life--you have all the tools in the toolbox, and you already are. Keep up with the videos--you are setting a great example for others and are, in your efforts, educating a whole lot of people about what farming and agriculture is all about.
Kudos to you for layin that out there so eloquently it couldn’t have been said any better…🙌🏼
I think I've just graduated from watching lawn care videos to farm care videos.
Lul Same. The algorithm works in mysterious ways
Very nice video. Most of us would not know what is happening, if you did not share and explain the process. I am really looking forward to harvest! That will, no doubt be amazing....and you make each job super special. Love ❤️ you, Granddaughter 🥰
Hey, Laura's Grandmother! You have an awesome granddaughter. I agree a little more explaining would be nice. Maybe fewer videos, but a little more explanation would be great. There seem to be gaps. While I understand its hard to explain everything while working, perhaps a little side recorded later filling in some of the gaps.
Kara Gregory she’s been trying to give us an abundance of videos lately because she’s leaving for college very, very soon. Like her, I read through every single comment and question. Many of the questions have already been answered by Laura in her previous videos. I’m learning right along with with everyone else 😊 Even though we live just about 7 miles from her, her siblings, and her parents, my husband and I were not raised in a farm....so we’re getting a very fun education vis the personal UA-cam videos Laura posts. 🤗❤️
Very glad to see you tuck your hair into your shirt before starting to work around that pump.
Safety first!!
Also pleased to see a guard on that shaft.
Particularly when there are so many unguarded rotating things!
Wow So glad this was in my recommended list. What a wonderful daughter. Your fortune may have come true but you are your dad's dream made reality. What dad would not want a beautiful, smart, hardworking daughter. Keep thsi sup and you will go far in life.
Bloomberg said farming was just poking a hole in the ground, dropping a seed in it, covering it up and adding water. How can that be such hard work?
@@barrygrant2907 bloomberg couldnt do the repairs needed, steer and handle equipment, handle finances as needed here, get up early to finish a task, be courteous to others, make thought through decisions well. He wouldnt last a yr on a farm and financially it would fail
Hello Laura, I'm not a farmer and I don't know anything about it. It's very fascinating what you always show us here. Thank you very much for that and greetings from Germany. I am looking forward to the next videos.
👍😃
With all the junk going on in this world, Laura’s smile and sense of humor is a breath of fresh air.

Yeah she's a wholesome girl lol. You won't find her twerkin on tiktok around here. She's about her bidness.

@Greg Scott The way I figure - if someone can't bring themselves to write a complete word, when it's the only word they've got to say, then they're the simpleton!
I love how dad grabs the camera and lets you do the work.
yeah the filming was the additional part here :-)
I hauled sugar cane by tractor for 8 years and truck for 2 years. When someone asks what I do, I tell them I'm a steering wheel attendant.
Right...the Panda Express is only 30 miles away in Grand Island. 😉
Sugar in my coffee ,sugar for rum. ...press on comrade. It must be done...I honor the sweetness of your bounty !
@@garymingy8671 thanks mate, I'm retired from hauling cane and now contract planting cane part time for some farmers.
@Dan Lime heart good luck mate. Not many people make it through their first season, the hours can get to you after a couple of months, the only thing good about doing it is the money.
A tractor with a suicide spinner - who'd thought? Bright green eyes, long hair, winning smile, a very pretty and hard working gal - what's not to like? Hope Grant had a nice birthday!
... tractors and spinners .....it's where it all started ...
Woke up at 2 a.m., sitting here sipping my coffee and I get a notification of a new Laura Farms video. Great way to start the day.
in my time zone it's 8 a.m. (Eastern Europe) and I'm sipping coffee as well. The whole world is sipping coffee now.

I've done silage hauling in a truck 🚚 and also stack tractor driving.
I'm dairy farmer from New Zealand and we use a fair bit of maize silage for our cows

I’ve never seen a farmer with such beautiful nails lol
I have😂
there is only one,,,,,and this one is intelligent, creative, hard working, and i think she takes a bath most mornings,,,at least she starts off clean appearing every day.
You're a conveyor of commodities. 👍👍👍😎
I worked in agriculture as a student a long time ago, so your channel is something that interests me. I also stumbled upon Erin Holbert's channel which is very similar to yours. One positive outcome of covid19 is that people like you decide to become content creators and share a slice of their lives with people like me who live in cities and work on computers all day. Please keep it up!
PS your and your video editor have great cinematography skills.
Happy Birthday Grant
Laura, Here is a little trivia,
My Grandfather was a truck driver in the Chicago area in the 30's and 40's. At that time there wasn't the different class drivers licenses that we know today. In those days they did have to get a license to drive truck in the City, this license was called a Chauffeur's license. It looks like a smaller version of a police badge, its sliver and looks good today as it was handed down to me many years ago...
In my language șofer is the general name for vehicles driver. Except for car racing. Then you are a pilot. Also pilot is for planes and boats. But for tractors you are not pilot nor șofer, you are a tractorist. So since truck driver is a trucker, in English you are a tractorer. :) I forgot, for trams and trains the driver is a conductor.
SO VERY CUTE 5:36 !! YOUR SMILE!! ❤❤🙏🙏✌✌
Way too much time to think. Happy birthday Grant.
Grant said the EXACT same thing I say to people when they say things such as "Happy Birthday" I too always reply wrong like "No problem" I feel like wires might be crossed in my brain. It's more prevalent than just with happy birthday, it happens a lot lol.
Your laugh is contagious.
Always awesome, the stuff you share with us all, keep doing what you do, stay awesome!

Yes your fortune is true. You have really made a name for your self this year. You are definitely the prettiest and hardest working farmer on UA-cam!
Your a farmer. A jack of all trades...
🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍😘 love some Laura, doin' work! Keep on, keepin' on! You've definitely made a name for yourself! 😉
"back and forth...back and forth"...a day in the life of the CUTEST FARMER I've ever seen.
You're a typical tractor driver. We have all been there with to much time to think. I have solved most of the world's problems sitting right were you are. Good luck beautiful!😍😍😍
Kevin, if we could get all elected officials to spend a few hours a week on a farm tractor we would all be better off!
Did a lot of that kind of driving myself when I was a kid at our family farm. Same setup but hauling grass - in Sweden. Brings back a lot of memories
Was surprised with Panda Express. I think Nebraska farm life is not as “out there” as I imagine.
technically you are both: a chauffeur driving us the viewers around & a truck driver for whatever you are transporting 🤣
8:42 your smile makes me so happy :)
Happy belated birthday-great team work with your Dad! Love and blessings to y’all!
Laura: Happy Birthday!
Grant: Yeaaaa, no problem. I don't know why I said that... Thank you.

Nails done, hair done, makeup done. Let’s work on the farm in a tractor! 🤣😂🤷♂️
Young Lady I have just started checking in on your channel . You have been blessed so much being raised on a farm with great family. I was raised on a dairy and loved every day. Great things will come your way.
That smile would make it all worthwhile.
Chauffeur goes back to french language, and means "to heat up". The term was used first for people driving trains back in the day,
that were powered with coal and had to be heated up to drive. So yeah, you are totally fine to call yourself a tractor chauffeur :)
So so so happy for you L.. Good luck with the guy.. I know him IRL and I'm so happy for you and Grant.. Good luck with the IRL relationship L
Luv both of you even if he doesn't remember me from HS
Well miss you are a farmer be proud of yourself because you giving people something to put on the table . That is an important job if you think about it.
Your Dad has to be So So Proud of You!!! I think you are amazing and love watching you farm. You're truly amazing!
Laura, thank you for putting your hair under your shirt to keep it out of the way while you were working on that equipment at around 12:49!
How come you guy's don't have pick up hitches?
The pick up hitch is a European design and not American
@@tankylatham9502 a lot of the tractors and machinery used in America is of European design and build, so that reasoning does not stand up
@@barbarian6850 That's interesting about the European design and build of machinery used in the USA. Do American farmers like pick-up hitches though - they mightn't be used to using them?
The only place where I see pickup hitches is in the uk, most EU country's don't use them

Is this Genetically Modified corn?
Every modern crop is GMO.
@@LtShifty Not all corn is GMO and eventually all Monsanto idiocies will be banned or they'll simply be sued to death or both.
@@VitalityMassage Corn isn't a natural crop, neither are wheat, barley, OSR, fodder beat etc etc. All of them are man made plants, most created initially thousands of years ago. But in modern times there are no crops which are not, year on year, modified and selectively chosen for their unique characteristics.
@@LtShifty Hybrid crops are very different than GMO crops by Monsanto. Humans have been naturally modifying foods by crossbreeding for hundreds or thousands of years but NOT genetically modifying them so that after having been sprayed with Glycogen, they are the only thing left standing! Are you one of the idiots that doesn't understand this?
@@VitalityMassage Nope not at all, I worked in agriculture for a decade and have a wide experience with GMO crops, however I get the distinct feeling that you are one of the idiots who doesn't actually have an understanding of what GMO is, how it works, how widely it is used (every, single, crop), how safe it is. Feel free to provide me with some actual peer reviewed scientific studies showing adverse affects of GMO, or are you just going to say how Monsanto blocks such studies? I'm not going to deny the likes of Monsanto have done some incredibly bad shit and have an absolute greed and will do anything to make money, but at the end of the day killing their customers is just bad PR and bad for business. You probably thing vaccines are bad too right?

Interesting dumping strategy. We never swap trailer in work. Usually we have 2+ tractor trailer combos for one mower. Mower just working flow lessly if there is a tractor it walks next to him for one turn emptys mower and move forward. When the first tractor's trailer is full the second unit is already walking with them, just have to get is position.
And yeah one trailer is nothing. Minimum two for one tractor.
Right off the bat. I like this one better. your more relaxed then the newer ones.
