A smoker - what a great asset to have as part of your property! Lovely smoked meats! The main room in your home is now starting to look like a room with the first pour of the insulated floor and the first coat of concrete. Not the best of weather in terms of the damp and cold but very good progress! Thank you for another lovely video.

One step nearer to completion! What looked very small suddenly doesn’t look so tiny when you see a level floor! Once again “G” is the concrete master, or should that be mistress? I should think by now you could make concrete in your sleep! You are a machine when it comes shovelling stone/sand/ cement! Your weather has been so very wet, the drainage ditches down the back of the fields are proving their worth! Hopefully next week the weather starts to dry up for you both. Take care❤

Isn't much easier working with the patio done? Don't worry about being perfect with the cement floors, they're only the rough, until it's between the lines on the level and flat is all you have to worry about, speaking of level, I'm still using my green laser level that you guys turned me on to, it's one of the best levels I owned and I bought the laser level pole and tripod to go with it for wall tile, it's awesome.

Will you cut a door from the living room into the kitchen or will you have to step outside to go into the kitchen from the outside? Keep up the good work but don't overdo. We will have to go out from bedroom living room to go to the kitchen :) but becouse we will have veranda - terrace it will be joined under one roof .. it will be just perfect !! :) Gx

I missed the part with rebar. It must e somewhere. The cottage is really coming along!
we didn't use rebar in this room .. no need for it .. if you meant that ... :) Gx (we just added rebar in the corner where we will keep log burner )

@@portugalitis I like the idea of the space being separate. Also, I think a long time ago you said you were going to use that detached building thing to build your bathroom. Sounds like that might work.

We will have to go out from bedroom living room to go to the kitchen :) but becouse we will have veranda - terrace it will be joined under one roof .. it will be just perfect !! :) Gx

we paid 3500 and it's manufactured 1978 !!! still strong and perfect for us !!!!
