I grow garlic here in the States in my 7+ plus acres….( 50 miles from NYC) and my soil is clay….but i have improved it with sand organic matter etc… My garlic would win first prize at any garlic festival. Plant it in November…..dig it up up when the first two leaves have dried and never let it dry in the sun…….let if dry in a closed indoor space.
