I'm from Tripoli, and never knew that you can do your own cheese Kaak at the bakery. I usually buy the cheese and the kaak, and take them home and i customize my own one with adding some olives and chilly sauce and a slice of ham and then heat it up on the grill
@@johnkilljoy62111- you dont know the lebanese people, we love life. 2- tripoli is known to be the "city of poor" so everything in it is 10 times cheaper than any other city in Lebanon 3- every family in Lebanon has relatives overseas who send them US dollars to help out with their living. 4- if you know economic, in situations like that only the public employees are affected because their salaries remain the same, and others they earn more money because they use the black market rate of the dollar. 5- this is filmed last year.

And every region will give you different experience even the people have different believes and ways to live (except for the shisha😄 )but try to find the best site in every region And enjoy 😉 🙏
I left Lebanon 39 years ago every time I call my parents, I hear only bad news, No money's, no electricity, no water, no body can get married, education without work, people shutting them self in front of the banks, pepper loses they lifetime savings, no medication, no hospitals, To be a tourist visitor for a shot time maybe its okay, other than that, I am afraid even to visit Lebanon

why don't you visit the south. especially for the summer go to south Lebanon's best beaches. in sidon you can visit Pangea Beach Resort, Laguava, etc. go to the restaurant that overlooks pigeon rock in beirut, go to the ghrotto cave, visit beirut's great malls and restaurants, go to downtown beirut, there's alot of stuff to see!

I live in Uae the Best Cooks are from Tripoli the most common sweets are from tripoli . I lived in beirut all my Life and i can tell u every Dish made in tripoli is 50 % better ( Of done by the right people ) Even for Beiruties the Good cooks have some kind of influence by the tripoli kitchen . In Beirut they tend to make ebery thing with tomatoes wich doesnt makes lebanese food any Special cause all the rest of the world coock with tomatoes wich is very easy . In tripoli they cook many main dishes with yougert and there are many diffrent types for each Dish .(ماعز ،بقر ،غنم ،مدخن ..... ) I have also went to South of lebanon on many occasions not like a small visit but one that lasted for 1 month .I Can also tell u that u canot compare Tripoli food ( Expert Home made ) to any food 🤣🤣 and the sweets is some thing else i swear people in South Lebanon and Beirut most of them dont even know real sweets , They dont even know the taste of kashta like my friend im beirut thinks thats Safsouf or Intabli put for him real kashta In his arabic sweets 🤣 Real Kashta is only imported from tripoli ask any Desert maker .What they put for them is milk powder ,Sugar ، نشاء , Water ، ماء ورد Etc That is not kashta guys 😃
