I lived around this area till my late twenties and never knew that البلان actually comes from Baleine as in whale in English !!! All this time i thought it's البلان as in the plant . I am embarrassingly shocked 😲
I was worried because you did not upload a video, and the surprise in this video is that Valentine's Day was for the first time active and enthusiastic from Mesopotamia. Thank you for the beautiful content, especially being a classy woman.
just a friendly comment, why didn't you pay for the Lebanese guy who is showing you around for his the boat trip at 4.22, and in the previous video he paid for you. keep in mind the situation in Lebanon is so bad and I'm sure he does not got a job. thank you
Waw Awesome to see Tripoli Lebanon 🇱🇧 Thank you guys you brought a lot of wonderful memories.. By the way since I visited LA there are a lot of similarly when you look to the mountains from the sea side.
I have been into the palm island in my visit to Lebanon it has a fantastic beach the water is so pure i urge you to visit it but unfortunately its badly serviced no restaurants or anything but it is a pure nature Moreover their is several spots near to tripoli namely al-amo3a , zgharta and 3asoon the 3 stands for an arabic letter
I recommend you visit the Palm Island near Tripoli especially in Summer the water is so clean with Sandy beach swimming in the Palm Island you are gonna like it it is a beautiful Island it is called Palm Island or Rabbits Island and if you like lake there is a beautiful lake in North Lebanon near Tripoli called fish eyes lake means in Arabic Oyoun Al Samak lake I recommend you to visit it too thank you for your Tour in Lebanon you are an amazing young woman
Your arabic accent is so Lebanese and you also look like a Lebanese which make me think that you have a Lebanese grand parent By the way the prayer call is azan
So Valentine is a huge tiper hein! Should have asked for mine during the paddleboarding lesson this morning 🤣🤣 Great video! 🔥👏 And YES, the island definitely looks like a sleeping whale 🐋👌
@@20CamelsEmily Oh yeaah sorry, you're right! I completely forgot the huuuge amount of energy he's put into cooking those raw broccolis 🤣 Hope you guys are enjoying Kerkennah ✨ See you very soon 🤙
Nice but a bit short this time.. Too bad you didn't get to get to go further in the sea to the palm island which is the only island that is a reserve island...It's also called rabbit island because there are a lot of wild rabbits in the there. In this video you guys were in my home town ( Al Mina) and also in my neighborhood exactly where you had your dinner.. The building my apartment is 2 building behind you and is also facing the corniche with a nice view.. too bad I haven't been in Lebanon for 2 years now.. I live in New York city.
Hey Minad, I have about 8 more minutes of bonus content/deleted scenes if you want to see. I show off a guesthouse in El Mina and a cool modern cafe in Tripoli. The $5 plan will be enough to open that on patreon. The scenes were too disparate and I couldn’t fit them into the main video. Thanks for the kind comment, I appreciate you watching
@@20CamelsEmily I didn't want to talk about this but since you brought this subject I'll share my thoughts. I have been a youtuber sine youtube existed and that's over 15 years. I used to make videos with my other channel , back then no one ever thought that you could make money off of youtube. Now I mainly watch new generation youtubers with specific interest in travel vlogs which I watch at night as a way to unwind after a day of work..I watched youtubers grow from few 100 subscribers to 10 million, example Joe Hattab. Those youtubers started with only wish for viewers to like, comment and subscribe which was fair.. I watched those youtubers struggle at the beginning but slowly they made it. This is an investment and a choice that a youtuber makes and it takes dedication and patience. My wish for you is to keep investing building more subscribers and only by building your base subscriber you will succeed ( monetary wise) through adds and sponsors. For me personally it's not the $5 that will make any difference, it's the experience. Especially when it comes to my home town which I know like the back of my hand. I want others to see it too not few paying "customers". Paying to see hidden or omitted scenes just change the whole watching experience and it can also be a turn off. You proved to have the talent of making good quality vlogs, keep the good work and you will succeed. You just need to be patient and you will make it. That's my 2 cents and thank you in advance for understanding.
did you call the olives 'some mini salad thing' ??? without thinking how offensive it might be for the cook... it may not be attractive to you, but you never call an effort 'something or anything'. especially when you are treated like a queen in a foreign country.
Damn. 30k (thats like 2$ tops) for a boat ride around the islandS and u guys are haggling? Stingy af. If i was around, i would've paid for your ride and tipped the poor guy even more.
So disappointing to see Ahmed pay for himself. He's taking the time to show you around the city, the least you could do is pay for kaak! I highly doubt you're paying him for his time and you have the nerve to call him a "friend".
Do you guys think the island looks like a whale? 🐳 🐋 🤔

I agree to your point!! That wasn’t generous honestly
They probably paid for him but not on camera
I agree Ahmed seems like a very cool guy
100% correct.
@@violettemargy5922 i doubt it, they seem stingy af, probably why he did not join them for dinner at the seafood restaurant.
I didn’t know that Lebanon has islands. On my list places to visit.

Do you recommend living there for a couple of months ?
I am freelancer and I would like to try there for a couple of months.
Thanks in advance
I’ve lived in Lebanon for 5 months, and it was a really great experience. Can definitely recommend!
I love lebanese people especially the christians. Hope the current economic crisis won't last long. Greetings from the Sahara desert.

He is there to guide you….
Nice to see subtitles from Arabic.
I was missing your videos and was about to ask what happened 😁 so you already left Lebanon?? 🥺😢
Unfortunately, I did already leave, but I still have tons of videos coming from my time there :)

How safe are things in Beirut now with the upcoming election?
For now its stable but on elections day no one knows what might happen so its best to visit the city after everything is over
The sound from mosque it’s not a song it’s the quran
Don't haggle so much when people are struggling to eat.
Why you giving a bad image about Tripoli?
Cos most are Muslim?
Specially this Lebanese guy The interpreter .
The video is too short
There’s bonus content on patreon if you want to see more. It didn’t make it into the vid because they were scenes of Tripoli and were too random.
