Bogd Khan Uul is apparently the oldest national park, dating back to 1783. (Amazing what you find on the internet!) I wish i could see Yellowstone Park, I think its one of the most amazing places on earth.
Re introduction of wolves to yellowstone back in 96 was such a brilliant project. Currently taking place is to re-populate the red wolf into mexico with some breeding programmes. Wolves are just noble and majestic creatures, beautiful if you ask me.
I actually lived in Jackson Hole, WY for half the year recently... Just an amazing part of the United States. I hope the people at Yellowstone never give in to building some McDonalds or something... They already build enough on the land. The most beautiful animals live in Yellowstone, and I hope it stays that way for a long time.
I'm glad some areas like this are still protected. It's crazy that people are so obsessed with money, fame and material things that they lose sight of natural beauties like this. They planet is gorgerous!
I'm scared. I don't even remember how I got to this video and I clicked somewhere in the middle of the video, where she started talking about the volcano... It seems like its a sign... Oh boy.
@mariomaker26 It would probably reach most of the northern hemisphere. The time St. Helena erupted the ash reached as far as Oklahoma, and the Yellowstone eruption will undoubtedly be much, much larger.
Belching toxic gas? Hissing acid vapor? Super-heated water? An underground volcano? Fuck that! Rest assured I would never even try to defile that place. lmao
1) Go to google translate 2) translate "will justin beiber ever hit puberty" from english to vietnamise 3) copy the translation and translate it back into english 4) laugh 5) thumbs up so people can see. a tak wgl to pozdro z Polski ;dd Polacy-potęga ;pp
Lmao 1:25 It may erupt... but then... 2:46 Present day vistors can witness its geologic splendors....BUT NEVERMIND THE MAGMA! That can spew 25 miles into the air that will prolly kill us all!!!! I love this video it starts out innocent then scares the shit out of you and then goes out with splendorous ending...LMFAO
The wolves were exterminated because people thought that they were "a threat." They were at top of the food chain, and getting rid of those wolves was a terrible idea. What was going to keep down the elk population? That also affects the plants population because of the elk eating so much plants, and not dying quick enough for the plants to be in plentiful numbers.
@grahamrocks1 "We reached the old wolf in time to watch a fierce green fire dying in her eyes. I realized then, and have known ever since, that there was something new to me in those eyes- something known only to her and the mountain. I was young then, and full of trigger-itch; I thought that because fewer wolves meant more deer, that no wolves would mean hunters' paradise. But after seeing the green fire die, I sensed that neither the wolf nor the mountain agreed with such a view."-Aldo Leopold
@ErnieCosmo If a species is extinct that means there are no more and once they are extinct they can never return. As for as the grey wolf, they were just very very endangered and needed the help of humans to be reintroduced to the yellowstone area
@australiatousa It's probably because there were more wolves (predators) than Bison. So they introduce back the wolves after bison population is going up.
@Goddessofmoods . Yes, so do I. But what I draw from this video is 1: We all live on a fault-line. 2: We are only a passing fauna on Mother Earth's property, and 3: The beauty of this ecosystem is precariously preserved by the innovative work done by courageous men and women. I would like to single out the current spouse of a mentor of mine-a folksinger from New Hampshire who first popularized the songs of Joni Mitchell&Jackson Browne. If you follow the links(Tom Rush, or D.O'Keefe(songbird.org)
So...the stress and DEATH wolves place on the elk/deer/bison populations is a "healthy balance", but a couple snowmobiles, that's a burden? One of the greatest hypocrisies ever...even though I'm a wolf fan.
So nice to see a nature show that isn't completely depressing. ^^

I learned a lot about Yellow Stone that I didn't know before. I never knew National Geographics had a channel.
Re introduction of wolves to yellowstone back in 96 was such a brilliant project. Currently taking place is to re-populate the red wolf into mexico with some breeding programmes. Wolves are just noble and majestic creatures, beautiful if you ask me.
Love that place! Before college, my parents would take me and siblings camping there. Some of my fondest memories took place there... =)
I just love this National Park :D

Wonderful untouched world! I can not imagine that this man has not ruined...?
I remember when my dad use to bring home National Geographic books to read every week, those were the days, if only he knew how to use a computer now!
I hope I'm alive when it erupts :3
I miss Yellowstone!

What a beautiful place.
i like the rockin' 80s keyboard-esque guitar solos in the background.
I'm glad some areas like this are still protected. It's crazy that people are so obsessed with money, fame and material things that they lose sight of natural beauties like this. They planet is gorgerous!

MIle for mile, Yellowstone is probably the best place on Earth.
I tell you one thing . . . . I am sick and tired of the commercials we have to watch before the videos are played.
When that volcano erupts we're fucked.
....I'm so uplifting.
Well that was interesting back to the entertainment.
@Westernraven Ever notice that certain vids spark certain moods? Like it because it's educational and relaxing.
Nice ^^
@FPVsean I COMPLETELY agree!
i wish i watched this BEFORE my french exam because we had to do something about this :(
Trending or not, it's better than watching people do stupid and dangerous stuff to get views. I like this and now want to go to there.
cool i wanna live there
W00T! One of the main reasons I just moved here. But I haven't been able to see it again yet T^T
been there plenty of times i live in montana
@mariomaker26 It would probably reach most of the northern hemisphere. The time St. Helena erupted the ash reached as far as Oklahoma, and the Yellowstone eruption will undoubtedly be much, much larger.
umm... is'nt Hot Springs the First national park? or where they added at the same time?
Belching toxic gas? Hissing acid vapor? Super-heated water? An underground volcano?
Fuck that! Rest assured I would never even try to defile that place. lmao

@KitRedFox correct and agreed.
@adrew1452 Keep your comments about the video.They say inbredding is popular in Kentucky, I think they were talking about you!
And also there is a Super volcano!
Hey, a volcano filled with molten hot magma that could burn my body to a crisp. Let me get real close and take a picture!
i love wolves :3 i cant beleive people are scared of them though...

Too bad when yellowstone blows up, we all die.
@australiatousa
It's probably because there were more wolves (predators) than Bison. So they introduce back the wolves after bison population is going up.
@MrELuvly ahhahahha yeah.Go bears!
I hope the magma reaches me so I can cook marshmallows over it
Isn't this where Wolfquest's setting is based, Yellowstone park? 8D
Thumbs up if you have been there and seen old faithful.
We need to step it up and protect our wolves. End the government and illegal killing.
@Westernraven Agreed. My thinking is "let 'em keep watching other stuff and sitting at home... fewer folks out there... where I want to be" :-)
Aw. Wolves are cute (Even though they want to eat me ;o)
Let's hope it can stay untouched
i saw the gyser and I JIZZED IN MY PANTS!
how much gold and diamond would be under this park? :P
@IMJCCoop I totally agree
@Animemanza Amen bro!

@SubparPanda return135 has a point.
@adrew1452 Two great comments were removed and replaced with both yours and that other comment that's also crap!
So...the stress and DEATH wolves place on the elk/deer/bison populations is a "healthy balance", but a couple snowmobiles, that's a burden? One of the greatest hypocrisies ever...even though I'm a wolf fan.
@Roaminghandzman Dude, you in a diaper on a trampoline. That's sick!
