Magical Yellowstone. Lovely to have seen it for real. Over the Yrs. I have seen lots of Documentaries. about Yellowstone: Especially the 4 part docu' with the park manager covering the Seasons. Beautiful experience. 😊
I've been to Yellowstone National Park (including "Old Faithful") and I consider this "The highlight" of my travels , if not "the highlight" of my life....So beautiful....fascinating...stunning...powerful.....it's simply overwhelming !!!!!....and people need to be respectful to the power of nature...
I have had the opportunity to take a snowmobile trip from West Yellowstone to Old Faithful twice and to Norris once. They are both about 60 miles round trip and absolutely wonderful.
The Elk Refuge is just north of Jackson, WY, between there and the airport. The highway there is open all year and it is an easy, 6 to 7 hour drive from Salt Lake City. Yellowstone Park's South Entrance is several miles further north and Grand Teton National Park is just west of Jackson Hole. That area is really beautiful and warrants a separate trip to see it. You can spend weeks in the region and never see everything that is there.
I love all the birds and animals that live in yellow stone. Looks like a beautiful habitat for them. And manage well in winter ❄️ I really enjoyed this video. Thanks for sharing....❄️🔥🦌
Some of these negative comments are wildly inappropriate. Naturally she is "reading" [from a script].Accent is cosmopolitan, diction is good, and voice well moderated. "Talking down" is absurd.
I did enjoy the visit and thank you for the presentation. Thought the narrator did a fine job, but think she'll find several thousand (not hundred) elk winter at the National Refuge. Since I can never get enough of Wyoming wildlife viewing, I appreciate this program.
Fantastic cinematography and narration! This excellent production was only possible with lots of hard work and tenacity to capture these intimate encounters with wildlife.
Thank you for such breathtaking documentary. I love the narrators tone of voice that sounds special to me, may be because I am from a different dialect (Ethiopian).
Snow coaches are the only way to travel in winter? I thought I heard you state at the beginning that horse drawn sleigh, dogsled, cross country skis and snowshoes are also options. Did I miss something? Re. the Big horn sheep, there are 3 (I learned recently) in the US--Rocky Mtn. bighorn and Desert bighorn in the Lower 48, and Dall sheep in AK, plus Stone sheep in the Canadian Rockies. Years ago, I saw Stone sheep on the Icefield Pkwy. between Canada's Jasper and Banff N.P.s, and just this summer saw Desert bighorn in CO Nat'l. Mon. I'm quite certain you saw Rocky Mtn. bighorn. May I point out that Grand Teton is pronounced TEA-tahn, rather than TEET-un? Beautifully done video. Thanks very much.
Beautifully narrated documentary...given a chance, I still want to visit this wonderful biodiversity park, witnessed the old faithful geyser eruption and Norris geyser basin...but the documentary on Yellowstone supervolcano eruption. I'd a fact...any day or years it might....
It is incredibly beautiful. I grew up only 2hrs from there. We used to cross country ski in Yellowstone every winter and back pack every summer. A few years ago I went back to MT for a visit. On my way home I decided to go through the park. I stopped to take a pic of the mountains and happened to look around in time to see a big and very beautiful wolf. For those who haven't seen Yellowstone I hope you get the opportunity. It is a beauty that you will never forget!
My family stayed at one of the cabins in Yellowstone ! I got up in the morning and walked out the door and came face to face with a huge male moose! I slowly walked backwards back into the cabin, freaked out!
We have beautiful elk here in KY too. They are a hearty deer and there are no wolves to predate the elk here. They are thriving as the winters here are not nearly as severe as in Yellowstone.
Some of the elk herd shots, with the horses, we're taken in the National Elk Refuge 35 miles south near Jackson Hole. But most of those elk migrated from Yellowstone.
Kind of wish there were Przewalski's horses living in Yellowstone; would be cool to see them amongst bison and elk, giving it an ice age look to Yellowstone. Same with guanacos, since their Pleistocene ancestors lived in North America.
Are any of these video scenes done using a drone or is it not allowed in this national park except by park permission? Outstanding narration and editing.
Nice little video but some of these timber wolves do get bigger than 130lbs. I’ve seen a few wolves killed that were 170-180lbs in Montana & Idaho. Wolves have been roaming from Montana & Idaho & now have even found new territory clear over in western Washington. I’ve been helicopter logging/falling timber for 30 years & seen a big black wolf right outside of Longview Washington in 2018

Thank you so much. Yellowstone will forever be a special place in my heart. I was too young to remember our visit, but my three older siblings do.
