To be honest, is more about the location than the proper house, at that price, I bet you can get something way more beautiful than this one near center of Tokyo. Btw, I am watching your videos for 7 months from now on and I want to say that I appreciate a lot what you do and all the information we have on this amazing channel. Stay strong 💪
5:24 Only an architect can appreciate and say it’s an “experience” in its right when walking down a hall to the toilet. This add new meaning to: it’s not the destination but the journey that counts. 😅
She doesn’t seem into it. She is acting nice to you but this house is not doing it for her (and for me for that matter). If you are saying this house is $500k then I say hard pass.
I think that’s just her personality. I’ve been following her content for years and she’s always seemed very awkward and she’s always had resting bitchface, but she actually a very nice and kind person in actuality
I have a phd in reading body language, and as an expert, with Dami’s posture and subtle facial expressions I can say with absolute certainty that she is indeed a girl boss.
This is a beautiful house with charming greenery as a view. However, it would have been better to discover it when it had not been refurbished to the extent it is now. It would be less wasteful to tear out old walls & windows and insulate everything properly first. Otherwise, residents will live in a refrigerator during the winter and a sauna in summer. Added to that discomfort is the exterior noise--overhead air traffic, crows and that schoolyard when class is in session--would definitely rank among the deal-breaking aspects of this akiya. The beauty of the place, alas, does not mitigate the discomforts inherent in it.
Nice vid. I think we need to know more about the immediate locale before saying this is expensive or cheap or desirable. I’m unfamiliar with the area, I can see its general vicinity is very good but what it’s like on street level-I don’t know. Also the total area(size) of the property would be useful and if there’s parking/garage etc etc. the house needs a lot of work. 200k at least. So 700k for a house in central location? Mmm. Depends on so many factors.
Good video, and Dami Lee is stunning, but I don't think this needs quite so much editing mid-sentences. There's obviously a slight gap between some words, but I find it's better to leave the gaps in there and let the sentences breathe, rather than chopping them up so they come out feeling a bit robotic.
@@shumatsuopost Thanks. And as well as it feeling more natural a conversation, you'd also have about 2-3 mins more watch time per view per video, so it's all good 😃
I imagine it's hard to get a good house that'll satisfy an architect. If i were the architect i would buy land and maybe create something from my architect brain? I don't know anything about architects :)
Is it hard to add centra air conditioning in a house like this? Is it allowed to widen with large windows so the interior is more modern with a blend of Japanese flavor?
What do you mean? No oven? There are smaller microwaves that can do baking, broiling and other functions. A full sized oven isn't part of Japanese cooking.
Damn it’s Dami!!! You really botched the sale I got to be honest, I mean come on do your research this is Dami Lee you’re talking to! Thanks for putting in some history in the edit though! 👍🏼🤙🏼
It always disgusted me to see toilets in the same room as a bath or shower. Like a bathroom is a sactuary for cleanliness so why oh why do you want a toilet in that same room? I can just imagine taking a steamy shower but someones just dropped a deuce before so now there is a steamy poo smell in the air whilst you take a shower or bath i just cant understand why anyone would put a toilet in a bathroom it is just soooooo gross to me

This is so fun to see two creators that I watch on UA-cam, collaborate together! Nice one Dami! Well done Shu!

A lot of homes in San Francisco have the toilet separated from the bath and shower.
Those are the ones built in the Victorian era, early/pre 1900s
I love Dami what a wonderful collab. Great video.

A crossover episode, yes!

And patronizing voice inflections

Always great to see Dami and it looks like you 2 had some fun there. Did she buy a house in the end?

Regarding toilet plumbing, does separated toilet has floor drain?
Good conversation and informative too.
There's a price to pay to live in Tokyo ~

But where is it???? The "heart" of Tokyo is the imperial compound. Is Shinjuku the heart? Yotsuya? Ueno?
3-minute walk from Takanawadai Station

第一印象で高輪っぽい雰囲気があったんですよ。そしたら玄関に東五反田って。合ってました😊 奥だから隣地の買収は難しそうですし、そうなると7千万は高いですね💦ローンも下りにくいでしょうし。

Also, I notice that in every (almost?) house that you show us, in the kitchen there's a stove top but no stove itself. Why?

@@rsmith02 yeah sorry, I meant an oven! Gotcha, interesting! Thanks for sharing this! 👌🏽

If there is an earthquake and the building needs to be demolished, can you still rebuild it if it is a non-rebuildable type?
I guess bad luck. that's why you need to refer to the local hazard zoning.
No need. The whole of Japan is one big fault line.
Where is it? How far walk to what station?
3 minutes from Takanawadai Station
Is there a break-in problem, bars on the windows?
Break-ins aren't common in Japan, but they do happen. You just need a good security system
❤❤❤
Not worth the price.
OMG she looks so emotionally disasociated....she looks like really trying to hold her desired to scream and run away from that place....
