@@shumatsuopost i will but i didnt pass in high school diploma so i have to wait next year and make more money to buy akiya house and study in japanese language school because japanese language school they tell me that i have to get high school diploma in 2025 to apply in next april 2026
Aloha from Hawaii, Shu. Can you do a video about earthquake standards and renovations for earthquake updates? For me that would determine whether or not I’d buy a property. We all know how severe the earthquakes can be. Information on this would be very helpful. Mahalo 🤙
Good question, very interested in knowing this. Without that assistance for those who can’t speak Japanese they may shy away given the language barrier. I’d personally push forward trying to find assistance.
I am literally planning on doing this within a month or 2, go to Japan get a few Akiya, start working on them and rent them out, maybe hostel style etc... im 100% going to do it!
Lovely reno. Hope foreign investors don 't do to the Japanese market what they've done/are doing to the Irish market. Irish people are battling to own even the smallest of houses...
Shu, how much would be improving hows like this from winter, I know that Japanese wood houses are not comfortable this way, and other are huge differences with temperature in heated and cold areas. So how much it would that be? what would be the price of a monthly ticket to Tokyo- this city.
What's the mortgage terms for small business owner? Surely rate will change, given the interest rate raises by BoJ. I like to understand the LTV ratio, interest rate, and any significant difference from the U.S. mortgage? I've watched 50+ of your videos and am lingered to make a move...
I’m sorry but how do these foreigners just come living here in Japan randomly and buying house? Japan is notorious for being strict in granting visas. Unless you’re pewdiepie, I just don’t get it
Western passports have easy access to Japan. Also Japan has very weird laws allowing anyone in the world to purchase property in Japan. The beurocracy in Japan is similar to Germany. An absolute nightmare. Heavy regulation for pretty much everything. The Italian guy featured in this video married a Japanese woman & got his visa becuz of that. Also most Italian guys in his age bracket don't have 100k$+ to burn in a foreign country
You don't need a visa to own property in Japan. However, you would be limited to the tourist visa stay limited every time you would stay in the country.
A lot of these foreigners are married to a Japanese nationals, usually their partner works full time and they have part time jobs and/or side hustles. They have the luxury of not worrying about visas and use their time to cultivate a business.
1. Due to earthquakes in Japan; as we have seen this week alone, many of these older homes built in the 90’s or earlier are not built to new earthquake codes. 2. Aging population with heirs not interested in rebuilding costs. Better to sell cheap. 3. The yen is weak right now.
Just remember, most of these people are in Japan and are married to Japanese nationals, which makes everything and I mean everything 100 times easier to get things done. I can bet this guy doesn't go to city hall alone to take care of things, he probably has his wife take care of it.
I almost had this house for ¥6M, but someone suddenly came in overbid me. I had no clue it was you!😅

I’m so inspired by all of you guys !
Wow he is a visionary. He knows where to look and he knows what he wants and he also tries to do his research and learn .Lucky wife you have . ❤
this video makes me want to live in japan more . its my childhood dream i hope i can do it as soon as possible
Me too, I like how the homes look like and the location of them as well.
Go for it!

Probably the 3rd fastest way to throw away your money.
I remember him. He is the Italian Man
whose Bank Savings lost Value due
to BREXIT. Good to see that he got
a Property & Renovated it well. 😊👌🏼
What are you talking about😂
Why are there bars on the doors and windows on the houses? Isn’t Japan one of the safest countries?

Same in the United States.
Hey is the Akiya Income Generator closed permanently? I was wanting to apply. Planning to be in Jp at the end of the year.
What are the taxes on properties there? I mean on rent

"Western style" .......Anything not Tatami....lol
why is it so cheap in japan?
Because the Japanese prefer to live in newer dwellings.
@@jonesr227 Also there is a surplus of abandoned houses.

seemed too compartmentalized
Aren't 5LDKs a little on the difficult side to rent out here?
My thought as well
