I did 24 years with a bullet (25 yrs married) i tell ALL married folks that come to me about my experience is that , once you understand that your VOWS are what you all made to Father God and PROMISES are what you make to your spouse.... it should make you realize the seriousness of what marriage is. Don't express VOWS before Father God that you do not mean keep (consequences both good (( honoring your vows to Father God)) and bad (( dishonoring your vows to Father God)) are there to reap); we all know promises are broken all the time. Be very mindful of who YOU choose for a mate, bcuz we all know most of us aint gone let Father God do it for us..... im just being real; thats the unfortunate HUMAN way

I am glad she is having this interview with Envy and Charlemagne, because they are both MARRIED. Both of their marriages have survived through scandal.
This conversation on unconditional love is essential and only marriage, honestly will teach you the lessons you need in this life about commitments to God, yourself and someone else. It’s the ultimate growth. Whether it lasts or not, but when you hang in there and actually seek healing it is the ultimate experience. It is also not a perfect experience, but if you have a willing partner (willing to be with you and hang in there; abuse omitted). My God, is it a beautiful experience.

I’ve said this a lot of this hate is projection. The men see Will as a reflection of the perfect man so to see Jada “not happy” shatters what they thought the knew what it takes to please a woman. Reading both books just put everything in perspective especially how we see each other as men and women as well as how we see ourselves in marriage and as individuals…After reading Will’s book I saw my Husband differently and we had that conversation he agreed to many beliefs Will had in his book (I stopped being defensive and placing unrealistic expectations on him) and reading Jada’s book made me see myself and the changes I had in my 40s like she had..I’m so glad i looked passed the headlines and read both books…I seriously hope they come out with a book together

"People in the comments are never gonna understand Millionaire Problems with hundred dollar emotions"- Ombrey DeGrate! They hit on all the headlines and she was cool and chill about the whole thing and answered! I've always loved Jada and I think she was so cool in this. " So I'm glad Jada knows her worth and all the ups and downs just brought her to this point. Half of these folks that have something negative to say have cheated and screwed up their own situations. I was so confused weeks ago at all of the backlash that came from the internet towards Jada. How can a book written on being Worthy unleash that much negativity?? I then realized those hating on Jada most likely do not know their own worth and have not begun to heal themselves.
What a pleasant surprise to watch such a peaceful interview. I was unsure of how all the initial headline hate would be introduced but I am so grateful to DJ envy and Charlemagne for their thoughtful questions, allowing Jada to do what she do - which is be open and honest - as best as she can. You know why man its because people are followers. I think the root cause is they still mad over the August Alsina situation and feeling like she embarrassed him on TV...even though she wanted to do it alone and Will asked to go on 😂..and then when he went on played dumb like he didnt know lol
But thats the main reason for all the negativity they want to hold it against her forever.
But people are also big time followers they get mad and are negative just because people tell them to be that way. Basically following the crowd
Complaining about her talking about Tupac when the past 20 years it wasnt an issue for them

Not if her life is lie. Her using a dead man as a prop is not good for anyone especially his family. Tupac didn’t die so that Jada could have a pretend soulmate or a pretend boyfriend or a pretend jail fiancé, he wasn’t her to use. Thinking about his family and his legacy being tied to this clown for HER benefit makes me sick.
Her using him for years making his legacy dull over years and years of lies is taking parts of an amazing man from his own legacy. She is unforgivable when it comes to this topic. Jada Tupac was ours, he was his mothers, he wasn’t yours stop clout chasing a dead man that didn’t want you.
ETA: I remember Eminem going to his mother talking about his project that he was doing for PAC’s legacy and all she wanted as for his music to speak for him and wanted his music to be his legacy and to see what had been done to him in death feels just a violent as his murder no dead man should have this done to them.

After watching this I’ve learned people are purposely trying to misunderstand Jada, yes she is airy fairy but the topics she speaks on is not that unconventional to experience as an adult and the fact she’s so ruthlessly honest makes people uncomfortable, esp since they had an expectation and idea of who Will and Jada were that ultimately she “ruined”. I think if people LISTENED to understand rather than attack they would realise they have more in common with her than they think.

If I put myself in that frame of mind then I put myself on a level of discomfort that’s not necessary- Jada Pinkett Smith. People keep trying to tear this woman and her family down and she’s unbothered, and still close with her family. It’s crazy how people judge and can’t/ won’t look in the mirror and realize their flaws and mistakes. People praise Cardi B for her honesty but Jada has been being honest. I hate how we all don’t analyze the depth of life and situations to go on the journey to fix it, the way we should. People have a problem with the raw truth. We shouldn’t put people on a pedestal as if they aren’t human. God bless and help us all.

I heard the entire interview and I hope people will actually take the time to listen to the interview and read the book. It saddens me that it’s only in our culture we are quick to put ourselves down especially women. Our counterparts stick together no matter what but we make it a habit and derive joy in putting our women down. There’s a difference in facts and opinion. On a separate note I think Jada should have made the breakfast club her first stop. These guys did an amazing job in embracing her and allowing her to speak HER truth. Asking the questions not for clickbait but for genuine understanding. She went to the wrong outlet first and that’s what started the negative press and narrative. Black media is so imperative, especially the right ones.

Let me first say, Jada is very brave and courageous for speaking and telling her truth. I watched many episodes of the Red Table. I remember thinking, Wow, I wish could undergo therapy consistently and be in a constant place of healing to share my story and help others Heal. Because that’s exactly what Jada has done. I gained a sense who Jada was from watching the Red Table and I admired her for being so open to share her story. Like Jada said, people didn’t do their research. That’s why so many bashed and blamed her for her and Will’s relationship. Not only did Will and Jada speak about their relationship on the Red Table, but they spoke about Will’s ego and Jada spoke about her relationship with 2 Pac. The commentary she speaks about her relationship with 2 Pac has been consistent in many interviews she’s given over the years, I might add. Furthermore, Will talks about his ego and their relationship in his own book. It was Will's ego that led him to slapping Chris and the need to protect the women in his life, but people blamed Jada for it. It was so disheartening to hear and see all the commentary around Jada. People took sounds bites of what she said and ran with it and others repeated what they heard someone else said about her. I hope many people that spoke out against her watch this interview and get a sense of who she is and stop letting social media guide and lead their minds to feel they can openly express how negatively they don’t like a person and their family.
