I tweak my tempo fairly often in matches, but not with the structure that you've laid out here. Another really interesting concept to apply, and as always explained brilliantly. Plus some espionage, who doesn't love that?
Likewise - I usually change tempo in a much more reactive manner. Chasing and currently ball dominant = increase tempo. Leading comfortably or struggling to get control of the game = drop tempo. And, absolutely - got to be a little Machiavellian when you get the opportunity.
@@vangeliskastanas not necessarily balanced. Whatever the base tactic is set at. And usually only one notch. But again, it can depend on the situation.
The best FM content ever...if i could i would pay you just to post every day . Thank you so much for the work which you are putting , literally so realistic type of playing .
Thank you, dude! Unfortunately, even if I could make a sufficient income from YT/videos, I doubt I'll ever be able to post daily. Just the editing alone takes me like 12 hours for a 10 minute video like this 🤣
It's been incredible to see your growth throughout this whole series and inspiring to keep me at editing my own stuff even during days where my mental health hasn't been all there for it. It's beyond appreciated!
Completely changed the way I want to play FM. I already build characters and storylines in my head but the way you use the game itself to further them (scouting teams you want to move to) is a stroke of genius. I'm now considering actually looking at the data screen and tinkering with tactics to suit each opponent as opposed to just plugging in a tactic, buying whatever players the DoF suggests and rushing to matchdays. The way you've gone about this series has made me realise that I would probably have a lot more fun if I stopped being "afraid" of being crap at the game and started using all of the features that it offers. I am very tempted to restart my Wolves save using a character based on yours, a hotheaded dictator who will rule with an iron fist. A cross between Mourinho and Clough, given that I'd want to play on the counter and the character himself will be from Portugal! Tactically, I will start with a preset fluid counter and see what I can do from there. Your commentary and delivery is absolutely fantastic as well, I think you will be one of the top FM creators by the end of the year. I'd also like to add that May has been a very tough month for me but this series has been a great way to take my mind off of things. Sorry for the ramble, I just love your content and want to thank you for making me want to get back into this game and go deeper than I have before.
Not a ramble whatsoever. Thank you for the kind words, and I'm glad to hear you've been enjoying the series. I hope that things get better soon! May is over tomorrow, let June be the month that things turn around!!
OK, want to know more! Start with Chaos for 25 and then rest for 20 minutes? Or the other way around? Crabis Tsingaras? Tsaris Tsingaras? More like Harris Tsingaras...
I'm being lazy, and just taking straight from the script: "10 minutes of absolute chaos. We then rest for 25 minutes in preparation for a final 10 minute flurry to see out the half." Repeat in both halves.
Great video, as always! I tried a similar approach with a newly promoted Sonderjyske side in Denmark. I found it to be especially effective against the big sides like Kopenhagen. Looking forward to try a version like yours!
It still makes me laugh. Not even because it's a good joke. But because I couldn't think of a synonym for "Inverting", panicked, and ended up with Wobbling!
@@CharlieHill_26 Thank you, dude 🙏 When I saw that you replied to your original comment, I must admit I was scared that it was going to be "6 good seconds, 10 rubbish minutes"
Nice Video. I would like to try this Tactic, how did u do it? Suddenly i'm a FM Noob. How did u let them play, which Formation, which Player Instructions do u have and is only higher press, higher tempo and Mentalitiy Offence needed?
The tactic itself is fluid; being tweaked throughout the save, but the skeleton of it has been covered during the series: DIAMOND: A Tactical Overview - ua-cam.com/video/CNZoJzrsdVU/v-deo.html The PRESSING Trap: Opposition Instructions & Out of Possession - ua-cam.com/video/EYFuukKCo1o/v-deo.html REVOLUTION: Transfer Overhaul & Tactical Tweaks - ua-cam.com/video/7BqSQFiFtbk/v-deo.html

There was no need to savage porto like that! 😂😂😂
Obviously I know the result when writing the narrative, so I may have been a little bitter!! Porto is a great city, though.
I really like your storytelling style.
Thank you 🙏 glad you're enjoying it so far!
Great video again. Thunder-bastard had me spitting my coffee out.....
In fairness...it was a thunder-bastard!

I can definitely see how it's effective against bigger sides. Getting the ball forward quickly and exploiting their complacency can be so effective.
Wobbling the Ziggurat. Love those references

I didn’t get the tomato innuendo but I’m weirdly glad that there is one😂
No specific innuendo. Anything involving students and vegetables feels like you'd expect the worst!
The Porto bit 😅
That's what they deserve for dumping us out the UCL!!
6 seconds in and I’ve liked already.
Yeah I was right, this is really good quality content.

Doing something similar, but i'm usually playing slowly around 60 mins and after that going crazy. Works fine for me
