I am a transplanted American married to a lovely Irish woman, and I love to listen to all these songs. The stories of joy, hardship, unfairness, life and death, all are the "peoples" stories. They bear repeating and are always worthy of remembrance. Just like the older country music and bluegrass tunes in America, the stories told are real and heartfelt. As long as we remember those that toiled, suffered, and even died in the struggle for a better life for their posterity, then their suffering was not in vain.

Great music lovely songs. The members of the Dubliners band were all very talented people. It was a well arranged programme. Lovely to see and listen to all the different songs from the different talented performers of the Dubliners Band John Sheahon on Violin and Tinwhistle Barney McKenna on Banjo, Ronnie Drew singing The town I loved so well. Jim Mc Cann singing Four green fields, Paddy Reilly singing, Come back Paddy Reilly to Ballyjamesduff and The fields of Athens. Mr. Campbell was great on the guitar and the man who sang Sweet rose of Avondale. I cannot recall his name. All told it was a great show. I was delighted to have seen it on UA-cam. Thankyou very, very much ❤
The Dubliner's are my favourite Irish Singers. I have been enjoying there Beautiful Irish Music since I was a very young lad. You don't have to see with your eyes what they show you in their beautiful singing and songs. God gave them the gift of blessing us with such beautiful songs, what a wonderful group of voices & talent. My family came from Northern Ireland,The Town of Ballymena. Irish flows through my vains and always will. Thanks Dubliners for touching my life forever. "IRISH" ! I Love You! 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀

I am Brazilian and loved these songs, I was very happy to know The Dubliners today! Thank channels " E- Dublin TV" and maspoxavida for making me learn more of Irish culture.
Hey Renato, it's great that you liked these truly great and passionate songs from my country. I am not sure whereabouts in Brazil you are and I know that it is a very vast country but there are some guys involved in the playing and promoting of Irish and Celtic culture there in the very heartlands of Brazil. You should first hunt out the most excellent band Tuatha De Danann who have been mixing Irish folk with more contemporary sounds for nigh on twenty years now and have garnered a following not just in Brazil but the whole world over. They hail from the alien space city of Varginha in the countryside of Minas Gereis. They are also involved in the other projects such as Braia(Celtic and Latino music styles blended together) and Kernunna - prog like seventies sounds garnished with some Irish folk type sounds on top! You should keep your eye out for the Brazilian musicians Bruno Maia (vocalist and multi-instrumentalist) who is from the city of his great band Tuatha De Danann and Alex Navar - Uileann Piper from the beaches of Rio De Janeiro who are extremely active in this Brazilian/Celtic revival. This new scene which I witnessed first hand and upfront myself is something great and wonderous and a huge honour to the art and music of us the Irish nation. There are also a growing number of Irish musicians operating over there in Irish pubs and clubs that seem to be popping up more and more frequently over in Brazil another great thing to happen in South America's biggest nation...
Renato F. O. Silva Read it comment-👍..And it's interesting because I see the Brazilian people as true kindred spirits..I was born in London(Irish Parents)and we listened to the Dubliners all the time growing up along with some other Traditional Irish Bands...Now I live in the U.S and nothing has changed..Brazil has the Legend Pele and Socratise and so many more..Ireland will always have "The Dubliners"A real people's band..

People rightly say about Luke Kelly's singing but Ronnie was one of a kind as well I love how he alternates effortlessly his pitch and tone won't ever hear another like him.
