Well, here we go. This is Ireland with its history and culture. A country battered by the English, nature and its heritage. This culture is full of emotions and the will to fight for its belief and history. Once a year, I dive into this heritage, get drunk and try to live through the past of my ancestry. As a spoiled modern bloke, I'll never find the right approach to the hardship this country has been through over the decades. My granddad was born in Kinsale, and my dad was in Australia, as I am. God bless Ireland, and may it be united in the future! Long live an united Irish Republic!
I've drained many a half-liter mugs of beer in my younger days, singing non-Irish songs (different country-different songs). However, one evolves and relocates, and there is nothing wrong with a pint of porter (or bitter), and a amateur rendition of Danny Boy. Bottoms Up !!
