the 1080 is still a great card, i can still run pretty much everything on my old i7 6700 and gtx 1080 blower I have just upgraded to a i7 14700kf and a rtx 4080 but it was also very pricey the 1080 from my own experience is a great card and still holds its own today, wont run a game at max but still will be perfectly playable.
Bro, i know this is kinda out of context, but I really felt the need to tell you about your cpu temps, they are quite high and if there's anything you can do to fix it you should try and do it asap. Nice video btw!
I have I3 8100 with 16gb ram and rx550 4gb oc. Looking to upgrade my graphics card to gtx 1070 or 1080 or the ti version. Which do you recommend? I'm also on a budget. I live in south africa. So shipping is quite expensive in ebay. Where can I also get a graphics card from? Thank you

I hardly play that much games. But my game list is fortnite, forza horizon 5 and star wars jedi fallen order. So far only fortnite is Cpu limited. I just want to play games on high settings at 1080p

Do you think the gtx 1080 should be fine with an i7 6700k and what about 1080ti?
What about i5 3470 with gtx 1080?
you will need a better prosessor, so no they wont work well together.
you should. but if you're good with buying used cards . im still rocking 1080 ti to this day
I am not gonna lie....pairing gtx 1080 with a good processor gives so much performance to this day
i too am rocking a 1080 ti, but am soon going to a rtx 2070 super

should i upgrade to this card from a rx 6500 xt? as someone that plays almost every single game on low settings this looks like a win

I planning to buy a rx 6700 x is it good ❓...i have a r5 5600x cpu
yes i have the 7600 with a 5600x and thats already a really good combo so a 6700 xt which is better than the 7600 will be good
go for it
i have a gtx 980 rn and im gonna buy other parts but ahould i keep the 980 or buy a better gpu
get a good processor first.....bcz upgrading a gpu will definitely bottleneck and later you can upgrade to a better gpu
