@@setharecool6459 Wouldnt be any sheperds out on the fields this time. Palestine Winter is too cold for that. The romans and greeks also celebrated the time of the year. Its winters eve, we are half through the cold times. Thats pretty much it.
@@prophetjesaja1638 winter isn’t that bad in Palestine, moreover we can calculate when Christ was born based on the dates given in scripture, to wit Zacharias was a priest in the course of Abia when he had John the Baptist, calculating from that point gives you a date of around December 25th.

there is literally nothing better than this song my family has a tradition where we sing it during the third week of advent before dinner every night and that is my favorite week out of the year.
