This is the perfect type of song for Clamavi de Profundis to perform. You did a terrific job and got creative with the arrangement. The contrasts of the deep and high ranges are so evocative of the pining and longing for the Savior of the world. I love the insertion of the "O Radix Jesse"; not only does it add color to the whole song, but it also introduces the listeners to the great "O Antiphons" from which the "Veni, veni Emmanuel" originated. Yeah completly correct. My poitn is, that many people do not know the "historical reason" why we celebrate christmas in december.
@@ninski3091 The Church calculated it based on when the Nativity of John the Baptist was thought to have been born since the gospel mentioned that Jesus was conceived 6 months after St. John the Baptist. There are specific aspects of inculturation in Christmas, such as the Christmas tree and the Advent wreath, but the date specifically isn't.

The Church calculated on this date. But indeed there are many oppinions about that. Many sources contradict each other.
But that is not my point.
I want to say, that we are celebrating christmas not only because of the birth of Jesus. For examble that christmas is coincidentally in on of the most important holidays in pegan cultures. This date have a way longer tradition than the Christianity.
I dont know why, but this christmas time i listened to different versions of this song very often. It reminds me that the whole earth is waiting for Jesus to come again.
Beautiful, my absolute favorite church hymn.
One of the Advent candles lights up with each verse... ❤🎄
I was doing my morning advent reading and I briefly saw this pop up on my phone. I was so happy and I thanked God for your beautiful music and your incredible talents, that brought us this breathtaking piece. The harmonies in this are amazing. Thank you so much for your music and I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and great New Years 💛 😊
Have a blessed Christmas time, my dear. Love from the very heart of Rome 💕💕
Essa oração sacra e pra ouvir lá com o coração ela imprime na alma um sentimento de esperança de contentamento e de fé naquilo que nos espera A eternidade
Whenever I listen to anything by you, I get goosebumps.
Beautiful in every way.
Come, Lord Jesus! Save us!
Dicsőség az Atyának, és Fiúnak és Szentlélek Úr Istennek miképpen volt kezdettől fogva úgy legyen most ,és mindörökre Ámen 🙏❤
What language is this?

Finally, a new Catholic song :)). I've been waiting for it since easter. Thanks a lot!.
Vozes da eternidade
Ooh, this is the prettiest version of this song I've ever heard!!
I was crossing my fingers for another Christmas Melody this year but this is cool! Especially since I think this was the first song in the first Christmas Melody you did. Now to see if I can memorize this...
I just wish they’d do more than just one a year. 😩
Love the whole song, but wow, that part at 2:10 when they sing in rounds and come together at the end of the verse is beyond beautiful.
Es bellísimo el comienzo los hombres graves se oye muy profundo y expectante el Rey viene a salvar al Israel de Dios !!
Profoundly amazing! What a blessing to hear on the day what we refer to as the Bethlehem Star is to appear in our skies...all to help us honor He in whom we place all our trust and devotion.
I listen to Clamavi De Profundis every Christmas. Their trancelike melodies brighten my spirits every time!
The feelings that your music conveys are so ... epic, I have a particular belief that really good music needs to make those who hear feel something, awaken something, whatever that feeling is, and yours musics does it in a masterful way, so thank you very much, from your fan from Brazil.
I don't know why, but I listen to this almost every year, around Christmas and it brings tears to my eyes. Something moving, haunting lurks beneath all the fantastic arrangement. And hope. A lot of hope. ❤️
As someone who has listened to your music for the last few years and caught every Christmas special, this one is actually your finest and perhaps the greatest version of this song I've ever heard. Awesome job!
What an incredible musical gift God has given to Clamavi! And your sharing of that gift blesses all who hear it.
The world needs you, Emmanuel🙏
Thanks a lot for the Channel 👌
Stunning piece, it's beautiful. May God bless you all, where ever you may be
Beautiful version :) Joy and peace to you all in these troubled times! Thank you for the great music!
2:23 the way he sings Israel 👏👏👏
Oh, how beautifully sung! ❤Come Jesus!🙏
My favorite song, my favorite group...what a wonderful gift. Thank you for your invaluable work!
quel plaisir lorsque j'ai entendu le début de l'antienne "Ô radix jesse" la plus belle des antiennes de toute la liturgie catholique romaine
Music so beautiful that it makes us want to be more like Christ - thank you Clamavi de Profundis
God , we love you forever.❤❤Manaratha , come to us , our Salvator❤❤❤Amen.
Simply beautifull. Thank you for your interpretation and most of all thank you for the Faith you have I can hear it while you sing that you are truly waiting for our Lord to come. So do I. Greetings from Poland. God bless you
I must say that this is one of the most beautiful religious songs I’ve ever heard. You are all very talented, and I love how your song incorporated a Jewishness to it by the back up singer sounding middle eastern, in the third verse especially. Stay encouraged.
ONE OF MY FAV SONGS EVER. Can't explain how emotional that made me feel
I have been listening to your Christmas Medley for a few weeks now and was hoping you were going to come out with this. And the rendition of Gaudette that you do is by far the best I've heard.
Hála és köszönet neked égi fény küldött ,szent bárány Názáreti Úr Jézus O jöjj várunk rád ♥️ Ámen 🙏
This recording should be the inspiration for a new renaissance in liturgical music, much badly needed.
This has always been my favorite song of the Christmas season. A wonderful rendition, thank you.
Oh come oh come Emmanuel and release captive Israel who cries in exile deprived of the Son of God.
Rejoice Rejoice Emmanuel shall be born for thee oh Israel.
Oh come thou Wisdom who makes everything ready here
Oh come and teach us the way of prudence and glory
Rejoice rejoice Emmanuel shall be born for thee oh Israel.
Oh come, oh come Adonai who from the summit of Sinai gave thy people the Law in the majesty of glory.
Rejoice rejoice Emmanuel shall be born for thee oh Israel.
Oh root of Jesse who stands in the people's stead over whom the kings of the earth will hold their mouth, who the people shall scorn
Come to free us , do not delay
我是中国人,非常感谢你们!天主是爱
God bless you
Veni Veni Emmanual, veni dilectus Domini!
Beautiful song, thanks for this
Very pleasantly thought out. May it be heard by all those who need salvation and satisfaction!
Seriously Internet!?
There are people who dislike this?!??!?
Title approved by the French president.
Jokes aside, I'm always blown away by the quality of your work. This song sounds... I honestly do not have the vocabulary to give it its due praise. It sounds incredible.
Just beautiful...as always
