The thing is, I never really made these for anyone but myself. I did come up with the idea of sharing these about 10 years ago, and then 5 years ago again, but those never happened.
I guess you mean the 7/4 time signature? It's quite rare in psy/goa trance, but more often used in downtempo and such (and prog/space rock of course for example). Thanks for listening :)
@@pauleye.official yeah, it's 7/4, right. you dont hear that so often even in prog and space and psych. 7/8 or 5/4 are far more common, this is why this caught me so off guard. Certainly not common in trance. A guy I used to party with was a psycore producer (he passed away, sadly...) and he once made a track in 7/8 and called it intelligence trance music lol.
The concept of "automation" doesn't relly apply to classic trackers, since there isn't really anything to automate in the first place. More modern trackers like Jeskola Buzz or Renoise (which I'm not actually that familiar with) do feature automation since they can host plugins, which have parameters you can automate. As for how I worked back then, 25 years later I can't remember the exact process I went through to finish the tracks, and every artist of course has their own way of working so I couldn't give you a universal reply anyway :) I do remember that I worked quite linearly through the arrangements, and also as a little ancedote I do remember writing down melodies and ideas in my school notebooks, often in the middle of class :D
No other uploads planned, at least for now. I do have a bunch of earlier tracks, but most of them are quite terrible and not worth keeping anywhere else than my own hard drives :D
@@pauleye.official You should still upload them. It is a part of 90s music history. I am uploading all my FastTracker songs at the moment starting in chronological order. First like 50 songs will sounds like crap. I really want to skip them to get to my goa trance songs but I will have patient and continue like I do and grow my channel. I will definitely listen if you upload yours. :)
Well, with the way I create these videos, it would be a massive amount of work to post all of them. I'll have to think about it, but I won't be making promises I can't keep :)
Haha during production have U been totally sober? ;-) It is fun watching how certain sounds are used in channels and so on. It partially reminds me "Koxbox - space traveller"
Yep, completely sober. And interesting that Koxbox connection, I haven't heard the track in quite some time, need to take a listen to freshen my memory. I do have the Forever After album (but I didn't have it back in 1999, that I'm sure of).
Hmm, it's been years since I've last needed to find samples of any kind so I'm probably not the best person to answer this. Freesound.org might be a good place to start, as long as you know what you're looking for. I've seen some positive comments/mentions of the Adventure Kid waveforms (but I've never used them myself). As for my own Impulse Tracker sample library, I won't be sharing it :)
Bro got up to take a break, came back 25 years later and dropped some fire
Not a 100% accurate description of what actually happened, but still this made me laugh :D
randomly recommended to me, glad I listened. love the 7/4 bit. such respect for the work that went into this tracker music from back in the day.
Thanks, I really appreciate it :)
What a crime to have saved this work for 25 years! Really great dude.

@@pauleye.official I completely understand... I do this myself except I don't record it.
We're all loving it so thank you for actually sharing it ❤️
Has the:
Infected Mushroom & Xerox - Gravity Waves
Track sound to Near Perfection!
@@johnrichardson3297 that track has completely passed under my radar. I need to go take a listen :)
This is techno fool! Realy like it!
gives me gba sims games, really good song right here
Game vibes seem to be somewhat common with these tracks of mine. Thanks for listening :)
Nice! Proper oldschool tracker Goa! I like that 3 quarter rhytm fuckery in the middle. gonna steal that trick, haha!

@@pauleye.official can you do automation in trackers? I always wondered how exactly bedroom producers worked back in the day.

@@pauleye.official very interesting! So, you would just work with samples and or drum machines and hardware synths?
psychedelic jungle adventure
Old School s2
Any other tracks you plan to upload? Your past couple uploads have sent me down the tracker rabbit hole

I'd have loved it if this was the Victory Road music in Gen 1 Pokemon games.
You're not the first to get some game vibes from my music, but I must admit that Pokemon came as quite a surprise to me :D

links to .it file or is it .mod ?
You're not the first one to ask if the .it files are available for download. I've thought about this, and decided not to share them.
