definitely, the verse on it even says that the black night is restless and you probably didn't guess that dark curls turn me on: nyt aika rientää ja kiire on, ja musta yö on rauhaton, et voinut enää aavistaa, mua tummat kiharat kiihottaa
In your searching, would you happen to have found any good websites (or Bandcamp pages) for artists or groups of artists who release music made with this technique?
Hey, you clearly know a lot so I thought I'd ask. I have fond memories of a track I'd gotten from Kosmic called "Return to Planet Necros". Haven't been able to find it since I last had the file. It isn't on the Mod Archive. I'm not even sure whether it was by Necros or it was a tribute of some kind by someone else.
Found it, it's the first google result (at least for me, right now) for 'return to planet necros' on the archive for an old event called 'the party'. the file link doesn't work because it's a link fragment modern browsers don't know how to parse (or at least firefox doesn't), but if you paste the link fragment after the base website URL (which i'd paste here for clarity but YT comments hate links) the file is still there - I just downloaded it and it works!
@@chrisprice8112 Thank you very much for alerting me to this. Now that I search again, it can be found on YT too. The artist, it turns out, was Wayfinder.
I think it would be cool if you started doing stuff like uploading whole musicdisks. Return to stage 9 would be a good one imo, a bit long for a single video though...
Ambient Light isn't playing correctly, instruments aren't playing at the beginning, and then there's those weird instruments playing before it jumps to the next section of the song.
oh shoot i forgot i made this comment and trixter is here? I mean I know now that DOS is 4:3 and I might have known that at the time, but what I meant is that there's black bars baked into the side which is pretty annoying. But if anything, there's an argument to be made that 16:10 is better because it takes up more space from being wider and is pixel perfect in all displays, plus it's a tracker, who's gonna care if it's stretched out? The only thing is that the black bars makes it take up less space.
world of voices at 13:13 has been stuck in my head for weeks, this whole playlist is straight bangers
Butterfly flew away - my favorite. By a long shot.
Mountain Breeze is so damn good, insanely crisp audio and a nice balanced mix on that one. Ty for posting this.
last one sounds like bro was recording past his bedtime

"World of Mages" brings me back so much
God, "Hyperdrive" brings me back so hard. Still love it! I used a bunch of its samples for one of my tracks back in 1998. :)
And hunz vocal tracks are always so good :D
Loving these!

Anyone remember Guitarous? Or know where it's from? Or how old it is? I swear, that along with Blue were my two high school songs.
What do the lyrics to Huudan mean?
:o
Send me driftin' never worked right in IT or MPT. The portamento on the lead in pattern 18 etc is way too slow.
Shouldn't these videos be in the 16:10 aspect ratio so that people watching it on a taller display than a 16:9 don't have windowboxing?
or 4:3, since that's what impulse tracker used. ;)
They should actually be in 4:3, since that's how the original tracker presented.
5:4 need only apply, all others take a hike.
The original tracker actually used the resolutoon of 640x400, so it’s 16:10 not 4:3
