I bought it too specifically for fried potatoe dishes. With ordinary low wall frying pan I always have some potatoes "escaped" from the pan when stirring.
Just got my 28cm country pan today! I have an All Clad 3q Saute and Simmer pan which is about 28cm diameter so I thought the country pan would be very close. It's actually a little heavier and deeper so I can use it like a wok for 1 person.
@@Pepperpot666 your welcome mate. Rememver to wash it very good when it arrives to get all of the wax off. Then season it proper. I don like to use flaxseed at least i have had problems with it flaking of. I use rapeseed/canola oil
@@knifesharpeningnorway That is good advice. From my experience flaxseed oil Is great for modern fast Iron with the rough surface , but the seasoning becomes too hard and brittle for smooth carbon steel pans.

Is that the 24cm or 28cm (diameter) pan? I am thinking about getting one myself, but i am unsure, which size to buy.
