I'm pleased to see the down pipe on now. I have a very similar pipe installed and a msd 420 map on my mk3. It brings out the bad boy in you. I'm loving mine. Keep up the good work Adam. Keep safe and enjoy the Fords unfinished symphony 👍👍👍
After doing laps on the nurburgring, heat management became an important consideration for me for track use. Normal every day running it makes no difference
@@AdamRainey ah! Ok well I’m only really using it for daily and a few spirited runs. Guess I’ll leave it. Really don’t want to pull it off again as it was a PITA to install
@@AdamRainey oh I see, I too have the mountune exhaust but after getting a cowl intake, I feel I need the exhaust to be louder. I can't even hear my hks bov after installing the cowl intake.
Hi Adam, very good job, but i have question for you: did you have to hide the oxygen sensor, or is it perfectly compatible with the stock sensors? Await your precious answer. Best regards
What was the sensor that needs to be replaced? How many are there that move over? Seems to me with all your mods, that a ProTune would be your best bet. That way, every specific engine parameter of your engine is monitored and tuned accordingly. Maxing out the fuel system and turbo, I'd much rather trust a tuner with my input than flying blind on an OTS map built for a car 1-2 years earlier with different bolt ons, gas type. plugs etc. Your thoughts???
Hi Adam brilliant video. I currently have the FPM375 installed and was wondering would installing the Sports cat be a problem? I just want more of that deeper growl the cat provides. The car already has the V3 Catback installed. I heard it may flag up EML on but can this be easily mapped out? Thanks mate again great video.
Nice video as always. Would love to see your car on a dyno and watch what it really makes. Manufacturers are often optimistic with claims of horsepower. Got my 2015 ST dyno tuned a few weeks ago, 302 horsepower at the cranck
I will get it done eventually, obviously not easy with covid and all that. I know some tuners exaggerate their claims but MSD are known to not exaggerate. Ideally I would leave the car with MSD and get them to dyno tune it yep
Good lord. Mountune makes some beautiful pieces.
they do indeed! And with the latest announcement they may even start to keep proper stock levels lol
pro tip : watch movies on kaldrostream. Me and my gf have been using it for watching lots of of movies these days.
@Mekhi Wesson yea, been using Kaldrostream for months myself :D
@Mekhi Wesson Definitely, I've been watching on kaldrostream for years myself =)
@Mekhi Wesson Yup, I have been using KaldroStream for years myself :D
That’s cool dude, enjoy it have fun, be safe.
Cheers mate :)

Do you require a heat shield?
The oem comes with one but it doesn’t install onto the mountune downpipe.
No but if I was to do the downpipe again, I would wrap it using funk motorsport titanium exhaust wrap
@@AdamRainey and what’s your reasoning for that may I ask?

Did the exhaust note get louder with the new downpipe inside the cabin with all the windows up?
Hello, I don't think it got much louder, I think it just gave it a different character

Will it void warranty?
Yes but most RS' will be out of warranty or almost out of warranty at this stage unless extended warranty was purchased
Yes yes 👍👍👌👌👌🙌🙌🙌
yea getting there!
Pls do soundclip after downpipe installed 😉
that is coming soon a new video...
