Tips from a natural hair girlie to preserve your waves when you go to sleep: 1. Wrap your hair in a silk scarf or 2. Get a tiny bit of oil in your hands, separate your hair in four sections (wherever they naturally separate to reduce frizz), twist them (into like tight spirals) and Bobby pin them to your head
You can also use a soft old t shirt if you don’t have the money for the scarf or oil. This works great for my hair. After you put it up in the morning just spray a little water mixed with your conditioner and your good to go ❤️❤️
By far the BEST video I’ve watched. Feels way less complicated and overwhelming, answered so many questions, and just overall made this process sooooo much less scary
Diffuser tips: basically the exact same thing as she did, but it can be hard to tell when to move on to the next step, so here's what I do: Hover until your hair forms a 'crust' or 'cast'. This is where it looks/feels dry on the outside, but it's still quite clumpy and damp underneath (about 60-75% dry). I then pixie diffuse (the scrunching hair up with the diffuser) for about a minute per section, or until my hair is 90% dry. Then let air-dry! x
My hair is curlier than yours but this the first actual UA-cam video that helped. The humidity in nyc is awful but this video pulled through! I thought my hair was super damaged but it turns out I just didn’t know how to style it. Thank you so much 😊
i definitely would recommend the Rizos curl defining cream, is super lightweight and good!!!! and also a Denman brush will help define your waves trust me!! can't wait to see what you do
I loved this video.I have very thick wavy hair and i have been fighting it all my life. I'm trying to embrace it now. My hair is dry and frizzy. If i could get rid if the frizzy, i think my hair would look fantastic. Im going to try your products and routine. Thanks!!!
How do you get that great volume at your roots? Do you condition/comb it in the shower upside down? How does this style hold up for day 2 & 3? Show us your refresh process please! ❤
Just tired of my hair. I’ve been rebonding them using curly girl method but because it’s too hard to style curly hair as the cgm I’ve been rebonding it again. But then I got a severe allergic reaction to a keratine treatment so now I’m thinking maybe I should wear my hair curly again. I should try a mousse like this it seems.
A lot of us don't brush our hair really except when we're in the shower, detangling with conditioner and finger combing or combing with a wide-tooth brush. Otherwise it breaks up the curls/waves and makes the hair puffy and frizzy. :) And then sleeping with it up, in a satin cap/scarf or on a satin pillowcase ideally to keep it from the friction as much as possible, keeps the tangles down.
Looks great but who has that much time ? I work at 3 am and that would take forever . That’s also a lot of products to buy . But you look so good ! I just don’t have that much time !
Hi ! Just discovered your channel, love the routine 🥰 I have wavy hair and to refresh in between showers I use the Cantu curl refresher spray. I spray it and scrunch the hair 😁
So do you wash your hair everyday,or leave the products in your hair for multiple days? Like...that sounds rude but I mean it in the most nicest and literal way
I have wavy hair, but I’ve always treated it like it was straight, came stright from TikTok because I found a video that gives you all the products and talks, but when I left the app to search up the products TikTok restarted and I couldn’t find the video 😢
Hi Greta happy Monday night and I hope you having amazing weekend and I loved your vlogs and you are amazing Supporter and I'm proud of you and I enjoy your channel
You need to go to a curl specialist and get it cut for curls there are stylists who literally know how to shape your hair so it can be styled without looking bulky
Hi question!!! For the first product the karastee curl something, do you know if theirs anytning similar to that that i could use that would still be good, something cheaper haha
are you diffusing with the air wrap (i have a shark) using heat, or cool air or hight heat, what's the heat to fan ratio there? and thank you, this has been so straightforward!! your hair is the most similar to mine that i've seen in one of these videos but mine is dark brown. and i've completely lost with it, my curl/wave pattern falls out suuuper quick because it's long and i have been scared to use gel or mousse!!
I have natural curly hair, but in the past half year they have gone away. I used to just put my hair up in a ponytail and nog care much, but now I want my old hair back. I have tried so much stuff, but it doesn’t work. When my hair is wet, I can get a lot of texture in my hair, but when it dries it is all gone. I have very thick hair and products like gel, mousse and creme don’t work either. Does anyone have any advise?
Hi Greta! I really want to get the Dyson diffuser attachment you used in this video, I checked your amazon link, but it's not there. Could you please share what it's called so I can find a good one?
I love that Airwrap attachment! Before buying it, I'd like to ask you, does the air come out of the prongs or only from the bottom of the attachment?? Thanks a lot in advance 😊
i had very wavy hair my whole life, but when somewhere in my mid 20s, it has gone basically totally straight :(( and i dont know why!! any ideas?? i miss my waves.
I wish someone would line up the products, in their order of use. Soo confusing. If they’re in the “more” index their not in order and there’s enough bottles to last 50 yrs. Just tell us, what, order of use. If ya wanna do a high, low, and medium price of what works then that’s a different topic for video. So scattered. Thought the purpose was to teach a do it yourself.

What kind of oil? Can I use coconut oil?

Thank you sm! You have the closest hair type to mine that I’ve found so this was super helpful! And you’re also so fun to watch :D
This routine is amazing I wanted to embrase my sort of wavy hair and it turned out great Tysm for the tutorial

This is the most helpful video I’ve watched for a good wavy hair tutorial!!
Omg! I’m so happy this helped!! 🥹🩷
I recommend the Garnier Fructis Style Curl Construct Creation Mousse! It is very inexpensive and works so well.
How do you get that great volume at your roots? Do you condition/comb it in the shower upside down?

Trying this now! I have a 2b pattern, so 🤞. ❤
Me with naturally straight hair but still watching this bc I love Greta

Greta PLS answer i love ur hair routine but i would love to know what you ask for when you get a haircut❤❤❤
I have like a few little curls under my hair but then I have pretty straight hair on top. What should I use?
Sorry I don’t know if I missed this but at what point do you brush your hair? Mine gets tangled so I really need to get that step in somewhere!

@@yahwehsgirl9288I don’t think it’s good to brush in the shower but I still do it😂
I also just watched the vid and she said people are saying it’s crunchy and what she did is she got some hair oil and just scrunched the crunch
Looks great but who has that much time ? I work at 3 am and that would take forever . That’s also a lot of products to buy . But you look so good ! I just don’t have that much time !

greta this is perfect timing i needed a new routine.
I have naturally wavy hair and when ever I try to do anything with it to make them come out it never works so I have to try this out
So do you wash your hair everyday,or leave the products in your hair for multiple days? Like...that sounds rude but I mean it in the most nicest and literal way

My issue is that my hair is soooo thick that it looks so bulky when I wear it natural... and mine is so frizzy lol

@@tarynriver I deff will! I've been trying to style it natural recently so thats for sure my next step :)
Function of beauty has a great wavy hair shampoo!!
it made a lot of my hair fall out 😭😭
love your videos and this video! i have curly hair too! can you do a makeup routine?
I needed this!!
Where did you get those shorts? They are so cute & look so comfy!
What temperature do you diffuse your hair on?
Beautiful ❤
my mom did this and it turned out SO good
great curls
Love your channel so much ahh! I will definitely be giving this a go
Wait so you don’t brush your hair after you shower ?!
I swear, diffusing is my least favourite part about dealing with waves/curls. My neck and back diesss 😂
what temperature do you put the diffuser on?
Hi question!!! For the first product the karastee curl something, do you know if theirs anytning similar to that that i could use that would still be good, something cheaper haha
Does it fall out a lot during the day or does it stay pretty much the same??
Where is your robe from? So super cute!
Love you so much
are you diffusing with the air wrap (i have a shark) using heat, or cool air or hight heat, what's the heat to fan ratio there?

No joke my Alexa started playing Taylor Swift…excited to try this routine out

Oh girl you got my Alexa with that 😂
What heat settings do you use when diffusing?
I used to have straight hair with curly ends and v long but now my hair is just straight and flips up at the end. I wish I had wavy hair.
do you brush your hair the next day when you wake up?
I have pin straight hair and I tried your method and it worked for about an hour and the curls fell out do you have any tips for me ❤
You can’t curl pin straight hair unless you use like a curling iron it’s just the natural way your hair is
How many times can we say the word ”like”?
Wait, so you dont comb your hair after the shower?
Does this work for 2a wavy hair?
Hi Greta! I really want to get the Dyson diffuser attachment you used in this video, I checked your amazon link, but it's not there. Could you please share what it's called so I can find a good one?

i had very wavy hair my whole life, but when somewhere in my mid 20s, it has gone basically totally straight :(( and i dont know why!! any ideas?? i miss my waves.
Hair usually chances every 7 yrs or so due to hormones or having a baby etc. Nothing you can really do, the waves may eventually come back.
I love your wavy hair
can anyone tell me the name of her hair dryer i would like to buy the same one.
you are so beautiful ahhhh ❤
You just turned on Taylor Swift at my house😳
how do you sleep on it without the waves tangling or falling loose
Usually a silk pillowcase or bonnet 😊
I LOVE YOU❤
Does this make your hair feel crunchy?
I think if you add a oil to your hair it makes it not crunchy
can i like js air dry it or blow dry it instead of diffusing?? xx
Yes when you airdry it’s usually more defined but a little less volume, which is why I love to scrunch with oil!
@@itsGretaWilson ohhh tysmmm, im going to try this soon, tysm!!!
Lol my Alexa started playing Taylor Swift lol lol
Love that 💁🏼♀️
@@itsGretaWilson I was watching your video and my Alexa listened to YOU when you asked yours to play her music lol! 😂
my hair turned greasy :( did i do something wrong?
Maybe less oil!
do we put heat protectant when defusing???
Yes!! 🩷🩷
do u have to diffuse
You need to cut about 3-4 inchess of the bottom. It looks very stringy, see through.
Ok thanks!
